How to unlock the An Exceptional Accomplishment achievement in For Honor - Definitive Guide

Best way to do this is with a friend at Co-0p. Also, having healing skill and unblockable is recommended. Need to know how to dodge and Parry (if don't know go practice at advance practice). Knowing how to stop a guardbreak is optional I just dodge them.

That way me and my friend done it. We just ran from everyone who we didn't need to fight. They all have small radius of where they can fight you. Therefore, don't worry about getting chase down. We just do what the mission tell us to do and ignore everything else.

When fighting bosses try to avoid fighting with them on their revenge mode. Every time they get on their revenge mode I just keep tapping A back. Every time you are dying try to run away and heal. When you doing this at Co-Op make sure you both are attacking the boss from the front and behind. Who ever on the front does the Parry and Guardbreak while the other one is striking him from behind.

I'm still going to run the rest on realistic for the unlocks, but I beat the knights campaign last night on realistic (I already beat the entire campaign on Hard - not sure if that matters), and today during a brawl match, it randomly popped this achievement.

Does any one know if these difficulty based achievements stack?

And to answer my own question, "Yes, the difficulty achievements stack."

I can corroborate what KempoMan said. I beat only the Knight's chapter on realistic last night and I played a multiplayer match of dominion right before the turn ended today and the achievement unlocked.

Definitely a correlation with these achievements being bugged - did the knights chapter, later played one of the warrior trials and got both the hard + realistic achievements...I'll take it.

Can confirm beating the knight campaign and then warrior trial works. Had all levels on realistic but the last samurai level. Went back and did the last knight level and unlocked all 3 complete story mode achievements.

Did the knight chapter on realistic then did the warrior trials and the achievements never popped. Even played a few online matches in different modes and never worked. Did this get patched?

I went through and did everything solo on realistic and got it after beating all levels.

Guess they patched the shortcut out long ago.

The story mode has 3 chapters:

  1. Knight
  2. Viking
  3. Samurai

Each chapter has 6 levels, and you need to complete all 18 levels on the highest difficulty available to unlock this . All this Story Modes trophies stack, this means, if you beat the game on Realistic you will get all trophies in one go. This difficulty is available from the beginning so you don’t need to do anything specific to unlock it before.

If you find some hard spots you may want to call someone to help and play the campaign in co-op with you. Ask for a boosting partner(s) here: Boosting Thread.

It’s worth mentioning that every time you complete a story level or increase one level you'll be rewarded by feats that you must equip because they are very useful, such as the auto re-health feats.

Here is a full Realistic walkthrough, beaten in around 7+ hours.

Upon completing the last mission in chapter 3 (3.6 'Apollyon') this will unlock on Realistic difficulty.

*Difficulty achievements do stack when playing on the harder difficulties*

In this mode there is no triangle that shows where the enemy is hitting, so you will need to watch the blade
When you die, YOU START FROM THE BEGINNING OF THIS MISSION
In the "knight" chapter, the save will only be for mission 6
At level 2-3 you will be given an active larva that will help you
It’s better not to take passive recovery, it heals very slowly
Most places can be run through
On the same 2nd mission, to complete it you need to capture 3 points, until you capture the mobs are endless
HEAD OF KNIGHTS
-in mission 1, during a duel, there will be a “fat” opponent against you, you can push him into the fire on the right
-in mission 5, mobs will spawn periodically at the end; if you die, you can safely run through the mobs to the place of death
-in mission 6, the checkpoint will be like a catapult reaching the gate (if there is an enemy in its area) in a fight with the local jarl, and to kill the wolf you need to block it like a blow
HEAD OF THE VIKINGS
I found this chapter easier than the first.
In mission 1 there will be a boss, when you reach him you can pick up “Molotov”, he stacks up to 12 flasks but he has a large radius and he can hit you, the boss can also use “KURIPITA”, which makes him quite difficult
In mission 6 the difficulty will be only the boss, he has 3 stages
1 these are his clones
2 and 3 himself
He can be thrown into the abyss on the right or left on the bridge, 50% of his HP will be removed, i.e. you need to reset 2 times
CHAPTER SAMURAI
It is advisable to take a treatment and break through the block
Mission 2 is difficult because there are 3 bosses in it, the tactics are simple
sold - ran away - healed - came running
Mission 4 is difficult because at the end there will be an Orochi boss, if you died, then it’s better to run through everyone, it will take 2-4 minutes because of the elephant, counterattack the boss himself
Mission 6 is difficult because it will have a “secret” difficult boss in stage 3
1 the simplest up to 50% tactics here, as in all others, will help: while penetration is in effect, hit, there are few lives - run and wait for a rollback
2 is the most difficult in my opinion
there is very little space and you are forced to block attacks
3 is a little easier, but the boss has a breakable Justice Dash
here you need to keep your distance from the boss

For a comfortable passage, select abilities, healing (usable), and an active skill that allows you to break through defenses. This will make it easier for you to get through.

Leveling up to level 24 will help save time and nerves (especially with bosses), since the healing will increase to level 3 and can be used more often

I completed the story as a knight and collected everything I needed on a realistic difficulty level, then when I completed it I switched to the Vikings, I killed Ragnar in the first mission and immediately received 3 trophies for completing all difficulty levels

People, don't bother with the campaign. Complete it with a friend on Realistic right away, collecting collectibles along the way. After closing online trophies, it is advisable, because. you will be able to play characters and know who is capable of what. Together, bots, bosses, mobs, officers - this is the only way to rush. And it will turn out faster and more fun in the end.

I’ll add a little about those moments that may cause difficulties

Vikings, chapter 2 . Small space for combat, but you can almost immediately throw the boss onto the spears on the gate or push him into the fire.
Vikings, chapter 6 . The boss has 3 stages, but there is always the option to retreat. In the first and second phases, you can run back to your “friends” and wait until your abilities are restored, the boss will wait. In the third stage, it is better to run to the top of one of the towers and wait there so that arrows do not hit you. With a running start we put the boss on his shoulder blades (R3 + ), sold - we run away. You can throw it off the bridge.
Samurai, chapter 4 . The checkpoint will be before the boss battle. At the end of the mission, you will have a battle with several heroes; you must immediately break the cardboard barriers and, in case of a critical level of health, run until the healing ability disappears, and your allies will kill them. The boss is difficult because he needs to be counterattacked, but if you run to the opposite side, he will not chase you.
Samurai, chapter 6 . The checkpoint will be before the boss battle. In the first stage, you can immediately use block breaking, so it will have time to roll back to the third phase. The boss's allies will allow you to quickly accumulate rage, there shouldn't be any problems. In the second phase, I recommend placing area healing, which can be collected before the boss battle. Your attacks are faster, so counterattack, you can also “hug” against the railing of the bridge, then the boss will not be able to attack you from the left. In the third phase, if possible, stay away from the boss; during the rage, it is better to run away. By this moment, your block break should roll back. I only succeeded on the 5th or 6th try.
Among the abilities, I recommend level 3 healing and block breaking.

How to beat the final boss on a realistic level:
We take the healer (drops after lvl 24 in the campaign) and break through the block.
1. At the beginning of the chapter there will be a place where you can collect fire arrows after you break the catapults: to do this, shoot all the targets on the task except one, then collect 12 arrows (maximum) and shoot the last target (then it is impossible to collect the arrows). Next, don’t waste arrows and go to the boss
2. The first stage of the boss - we don’t waste arrows. We accumulate rage, use block breaking, run and heal. First it is better to kill the deliverer (with daggers).
3. The second stage of the boss - on the stairs you will not have the opportunity to run, so we act quickly: capture the target - an arrow - wait for the rollback and repeat, when the boss approaches, we parry and hit again with arrows.
4. The third stage is the roof. Be careful, there are still rockfalls here from time to time (watch for the red circles on the ground and don’t expose yourself). Here we release the remaining arrows, activate block breaking, and hit the boss. If your health sags, we run around the map and wait for the heal to roll back.
Honestly, I spent a lot of time and nerves using the usual methods, but I passed with arrows the first time.

For some reason, the last boss easily blocked penetration; it turned out to be easier with bleeding. Essentially the second stage is difficult (nowhere to dodge). Orochi is faster, so two hits on the swing pass. Two strikes, pause, two strikes. Bleeding helps.

Ps What’s really annoying about the game is the inscription on the loading screen “Warning about possible health hazards when playing”
What's the "in"? For so many years they couldn’t fix it.

Use 2 active skills
1) treatment
2) breaking through any block

This way you can actively rush almost any character without even giving him a chance to hit
