How to unlock the My Hero Zero achievement in Front Mission Evolved - Definitive Guide

The fastest way is this:
1. Supremacy.
2. 4 people.
3. Weak Armor and snipers.
4. Just buddy up and take off their armor (legs and arms) before they kill you netting them 260 exp for that kill. Trade off and repeat. Note: the person who has their armor taken off must get the kill.
5. Make sure no one gets the objective points that way you can do overtime as many times as you want.

Make sure the guy who had his armor blown off gets the kill.

This is faster then the normal way because for every kill you get 260 exp instead of 100-500 exp for five kills.

Can you please explain in detail how you are getting 260xp per kill?

Shooting off the arms occasionally grants 50XP bonus - but the majority of kills are only worth 10XP.

Thanks.

No ned to explain - it is the player with armour blown off that gets a 250XP bonus for the kill.

This is by far the best way of gaining xp in FME, much better that the method described by NITEMARECREATOR, and just for reference the amount of xp required for the achievement is 197,730xp.

This comment is to Ultima OXZ and whomever else that doesn't like my solution... I don't give a shit. Don't rip my solution and say that it sucks. When my group and I came up with it, it was a hell a lot better than what was posted in the 1st solution. But when I posted my "improved" solution, I didn't shit all over the OP. I just explained a better way. Once I figured out my solution, I didn't continue searching a better way. Our way was not broke, so we didn't see a need to improve it. If you can figure out and manage to get to level 70 by shoving your dick in an electrical socket while disconnecting the ethernet cable and snipe your enemy all in the same motion, good for you. I don't care. Congrats on finding out a faster way. Now quit commenting on my "shitty" solution and leave me alone.

And on another note while I am still in the bitching mood, there apparently has been a TU to the game making XP easier to come by. When we finished boosting My Zero Hero in November 2010, my solution netted you the MAXIMUM points available to get. At that time you didn't get points for limb removals, just overall kill. Did you think about that being a possible situation?? I didn't think so...

By NITEMARECREATOR on 14 Mar 2011 18:00
You still don't get points for limb removals (other than a total of maybe an extra 5k overall for the Arm / Leg removal 1 - 3).

Anyway, I've tried it both ways and this way is definitely faster.

Well the arm and leg removal is cumulitive. After like 25 arms you get 500 or so points. Same with legs. I also think you only get that bonus once. Check the weapons proficiency menu and commendations.

By Ultima OXZ on 30 Mar 2011 04:53
There are bonuses for Arm and Leg Removal in the Assignments section, but once you've maxed out all 3 phases you can't get them anymore. There is also a bonus that you can keep getting for blowing up 25 arms and one for blowing 25 legs that you can get over and over again. Though its not worth it, since you have to do it in 1 life, if you die it resets the count and its only worth 50xp each time you do it. So its a waste of time unless you are going for the Kill Streaks.

This method is indeed faster than Nitemarecreator's, but Nitemarecreators guide does work as well, you just get the majority of the XP from repairing another player, instead of from the kills.

FYI, the armor should be all "Kehei" and the sniper rifle "Winee" for best results. 1 shot to each arm, 2 shots to the legs (total of 4 shots to remove armor); the kill takes 3 headshots.

We did this method while actually alternating capturing and we would go up a level every game or every other game.

Each Team can capture together while doing the above mentioned boost. Which is faster than doing the 20 kill method mentioned elsewhere.

We would get 60Xp every capture, 250xp for Killing a Mech without your own arms, 100Xp for killing the guy who killed you on your next turn and if you switch boosting partners on second kill you will get 100Xp for killing the entire team.

That's 510Xp for intial go thru and 410Xp per kill for the entire game. Netting alot of Xp and the games go faster.

Here is my 2 cents to elaborate on a quicker and more efficient way to boost this achievement. As CaptHowdy mentions, boost this in a RANKED Supremacy match and don't worry about the control points. A group of 4 boosters is the ideal size because it will be the quickest. Have all 4 boosters create a mech that has a repair backpack, 2 burst machine guns, and the all weakest body parts. DO NOT have weapon skills attributed like Syphon Shot or Corrosion. Leave these empty.

Each team will boost 20 kills then rotate to the next player. Team 1 will consist of Player A and Player B. Team 2 will consist of Player C and Player D. All boosters are to meet at a predetermined location. Player A will get the first 20 kills. Player B will follow then C and finally D. Player A shoots Player C until Player C's life is below 25%. Player D will then heal Player C (by pressing the B buttton). Player A will then shoot Player D until Player D's life is below 25% and Player C will heal him.

When you heal someone that has 25% or less health, you will receive 100XP for Savior, which is healing an ally with low health, and you will also receive 50XP for healing an ally at all. Once Player C and Player D have both been healed, Player A kills both Player C and D. This cycle then gets repeated until Player A gets 20 kills.

20 kills in a row is a Legendary Streak, which is worth 500XP. During this streak, you will get a streak at 3 kills (50XP), 10 kills (100XP), and 15 kills (250XP). Then the process is repeated with the other 3 boosters. You can boost for as long as you like, just keep the increments to 20 kills.

Supremacy matches have 15 minute time limits. As long as the score is even at the end of that timeframe, overtime will occur. Overtime is 3 minutes in length and will repeat indefinately, as long as the score remains tied.

I got 178,700 from a gameFAQs guide that Angelo Pineda wrote. The difference is irrelevant because the 1230 points can be obtained in 2 minutes. Thanx for pointing that out.

OK I have a confession to make, the figure I gave before was incorrect, the actual figure is 179,730xp, or 200 less than I previously said, when I wrote my first comment I didn't have the game on.

Anal much? Im sorry you are insecure about your solution. You can stick to your own. I can't stop you from liking it too. I'm just in the mood to try and help people get the most exp. the fastest. I'm a firm believer that mine is faster, complicated? A little but people get it.

Like I said Ultima, improving my solution or showing / demonstrating a new boosting method is fantastic. Anything to strengthen the boosting community is all good. What my beef with you is the fact that you didn't have to come out and shitting all over my solution. If you approached it like I did with "Here is my 2 cents to elaborate on a quicker and more efficient way to boost this achievement..." I thought / knew my solution was better but I didn't shove it down Capthowdy's throat and say his way sucks ass, like you did. You could / should have shown tact when you wrote your solution.

As you read the solution and following comments, people corrected me ( my solution ) and I thanked them for showing an error. I didn't jump their shit for pointing something out. Then you came along... (/end of wasting my time with your trivial ineptitude)

Just a question. You said as long as the score remains tied overtime will occur and keep occurring until the scores are no longer even. Does this mean if no one captures a control point at all and the score remains 0 overtime will occur? Or is it based on kills? Say if 1 team has 40 kills and the other team has 38 at the end of the 15 minutes, will overtime still occur?

Also, on average how long does it normally take for all 4 players to get a turn getting 20 kills?

By DrSchlepenstein on 26 Mar 2011 00:19
We played and did not capture any control points unless we were on Manhattan and the control point was in the middle. This is where we met. Once we shifted the control point out of the way, the other team captured the next point just to tie the score at 1 - 1.

This way sucks. It takes many kills to get where you want. With my guide you get 260 each kill. Not just a bonus every few kills. (each kill nets you ten and on the fifth you get 100 or 500 depending on how many kills. If you average it then you get only at best 110 each kill. Mine you get a garenteed 260 exp each kill and bonus exp along the way.

This is actually merely an addition onto Ultima's method-

first get Vritra map as this is the only map to do this method on.
Now, when you meet up, do so at the edge of the map or on the bridge.
Shoot off one persons arms and legs. After that, have the other person now knock off the first one's arms and legs.

At this point there are 0 kills and two armless legless wanzers next to a hole in the ground.

Now have one person kill the other. The should get "GOT YOU FIRST" for 250 pts
as soon as you kill the one jump into the hole suiciding. If you die before the other respawns they will receive "GOT YOU FIRST" on their rebirth. netting both people the 250 XP for one cycle instead of 250 for one per cycle.

Keep the person suiciding the same the entire time- otherwise it wont work due to the fact you can only get the bonus once per life

Rinse, repeat.

To sum up:
Player A and B meet up next to a hole on the Vitra map.
Player A destroys player B's arms and legs.
Player B destroys player A's arms and legs.
Player A kills player B. (Player A Gets "Got you first")
Player A jumps in the hole killing him/herself. BEFORE B RESPAWNS!!
On respawn, Player B will get "Got you First".
Repeat.
NOTE: For the entire match A kills then suicides.
WARNING: Do not switch it up. The method will not work that way!

Let me know if anythings not clear.

Thanks goes to Taxable for figuring this out and Gronk and Olav for the session we figured this out on.

This was actually working for 3/4 of us, but the 4th was having issues that we couldn't quite narrow down. The solution works for the most part, but there seems to be some problem with it. Perhaps having to do with a certain custom mech configuration. Anyway, give it a shot and see for yourselves.

It works, but the match host can't be the suicider. Also, it doesnt seem to work if you pick wanzer armour with no head. Otherwise nealry twice as fast as the traditional alternating kills method

To reach Rank 70 you need a total of 178,700 points earned in ranked matches. This will be a long haul, and at the beginning expect to be victimized by higher rank players who have access to significantly better equipment. Until you build up to better parts, stick with the pre-built wanzer models.

The multiplayer is dead, so the best way to get this is by boosting.

You need 4 people to start a match in this game.

The best boost method is called the suicide method, and can be done on all maps except for Constantine or Manhattan. Once you gain a few levels, make sure to change your loadout to all Kehei armor on all slots, remove all your weapons first, and then for your right arm under "weapons", choose the Winee rifle.

Simply get your group of at least 4 people, split off into pairs when the game picks the teams (one from each team paired together), and have 1 player designated as the Suicider, and the other as the Killed.

The Killed person first starts by shooting the arms and legs off of the Suicider. After that's done, the Suicider shoots off the arms and legs off the Killed, and then finishes by shooting the torso of the Killed. Immediately after killing the Killed, the Suicider then falls off the edge and kills themself.

By doing this, the Killed also gets equal credit and XP for the suicide, thus everyone gets equal XP.

Note: Don't pay attention to the bonus XP notices on the screen. They're not accurate, and you'll receive bonuses even if you don't see the notification for them pop up on the screen. The best way to tell if you're getting XP is to look at the scoreboard by pressing the select button.

Most of the multiplayer trophies can be done with this method, and you'll unlock:
Front Mission EvolvedTeam PlayerThe Team Player trophy in Front Mission Evolved worth 107 pointsAccumulate a total score of 10,000 while playing Domination and Supremacy.

by the time you reach around Rank 55, so no need to waste time boosting that one separately.

When you're ready to end the match (since it won't end and will continue going into Overtime if no one makes a cap), simply designate a winning team and have them score a cap. Once the remaining time runs out afterwards, the match will end and designate them the winner. This can be used to boost
Front Mission EvolvedAround the WorldThe Around the World trophy in Front Mission Evolved worth 45 pointsWin a multiplayer match on every level.

In total, this game should take about 12 - 15 hours of optimal boosting, so long as everyone works together.

Hi guys .
Basicaly this guide is a complement to ULTIMA OXZ and HATI R guides. They shall get the credits for this. With my mate Chriiisttophe we narrowed the spawn points to the top efficiency so we got 95 kills per hour each and at the same time.
This solution goes for 2 players only.
So go for supremacy on vritra with 4 people . 2 players and 2 dummy players (controlers not moving but wired if possible so they dont go to sleep mode.)
Of course each player going for the chievo are against each other
Then move the 2 dummy controlers to both ends of the middle bridge.
(I'll try to post my pictures when I know how to).
Never move them.
Note that each player have equiped sniper and weak armor.
They meet in the middle bridge an shall destroy oponents arms and leg
Then the one who goes for the win needs to kill the other every time and then suicide jumping from the bridge so both get 10 points kill + 250 bonus points each time.
They shall spawn then very very close to the bridge and repeat as long as the session last
Then the killer dont forget to get the zone at the end of session to finish game and take victory points at the same time.
This way every one will get as well bonus kill points from time to time. Thats why players shall switch killer from a session to another.
This way we took 3 sessions of 2 hours and one last under 1 hour.
Feel free to ask If questions and to complete if you have more ideas.
Peace guys

What's up Everyone. Quick Guide on boosting for Rank 70 achievement.
1. Ranked Match (Need 4 People to start up a match!)
2. Supremacy
3. Vritra
4. Get 20 kills in a row and commit suicide, then repeat.
5. Don't capture the Hill!!! (Very Important!)

P.S. Watch the video for more details for what weapon to use, armor, how to spawn kill/stand in.

This method is only good to boost by yourself or 2 people only!

It's my video =)

A really tedious and long trophy (if you don’t boost).

Rank 70 is 178, 700 points.

Despite the fact that in the game it is possible to score about 1000 points per match, in practice it is very difficult to do this until you reach level 30 so that you have a combat-ready robot. Reaching even level 30 is not easy, because... online there are mostly high-level players (they will beat you to the punch, and you will inflict a maximum of 50% damage on them).

In general, playing online is a complete imbalance. At first you can’t compete because of a weak robot, then it’s not interesting to play because... newcomers pose no threat because they are already weak to you.

Bottom line: boost in order to save both time (matches last at least 10 minutes) and nerves (you will constantly be killed, no matter what you do).

Almost 2 years have passed since the last hint for this trophy was written. I’ll add that at the moment getting platinum is extremely difficult, since the online is dead. The only way is boost. Just go online to team deathmatch and leave the console on. After some time, go to the Console Menu “Players Meet” and add people as friends with the boost mark. Even so, it is very difficult to find adequate people for boosting. It took me 70 hours online to get this trophy.
