How to unlock the Center achievement in GHOST 1.0 - Definitive Guide
You'll have to get the Green Card and kill the boss and, as you leave the boss room to the right, you'll get the achievement.
The boss is a big, three-eyed, big footed, beetle robot that wants to stomp you. His only weak spot is under his feet, there's where you have to shoot. It have "phases" as you damage it and I highly recommend you unlocking the Double Jump skill before fighting it:
•1st phase:
It will just walk, As he lift his feet to step, shoot one the under it. If he's pressing you too close to the wall, walk beneath it to get to the other side and and avoid getting crushed. Sometimes it'll lift both his feet, charge electricity on it and stomp on the ground, sending a small wave of electricity through the floor. You can still shoot while he's charging but if you get hit by the electricity, you'll be stunned for few seconds but you don't wanna be standing still in this battle so jump over it.
•2nd phase, I would say when he has 60% health left:
As he walks, small balls will fly out of it. if you take a little too long to destroy those balls, they'll transform into small robots that will damage you on touch. Killing those robots wield ammo pickups to recharge your main weapon faster. Sometimes he'll stop and start shaking making a lot of robot balls to fall. The higher difficulty, more robots. Also, out of nowhere, he'll jump towards you and, as he fall, he'll charge his feet and send the electricity wave. You can shoot him while he's on air but, if you get stunned, there's a high chance for him to jump again and land on you, dealing a high damage. If you have to pass beneath it, because of your speed, you'll need to roll because if you just run, you may pass beneath it safely but you almost never will avoid the electricity. And the stun is almost enough time for him to jump at you again.
•3rd phase around 30% of health left:
Now, instead of Robot Bugs, occasionally he'll drop timed bombs when he walks or when he shakes himself. But sometimes he'll drop robot balls too, a lot of them. You can expect more jumping too and now sometimes he'll stop and emit a constant, high damaging laser from each of his eyes. Then, he'll start moving his head to the left and right as if he where looking around while the lasers hits the ground and the walls if he's close enough. To avoid the lasers, you must time your jumps as he looks towards you. If he is in the center of the room, avoiding the lasers is easy. If you are in a side of the room and he is in the other side, the leasers don't even reach you. The closer he is to the wall pinning you, the harder it gets to avoid it. If he's way too close to you and the wall and you don't have the Double Jump then you can't jump high enough to avoid the beams and it's game over guaranteed.
Avoid getting pinned to the wall at all costs, keep your aim straight, time well your shoots as you can't shoot and roll at the same time, try using Area of Effect secondaries like Grenade Launcher or Wave Gun to deal with the small robots and good luck.
