How to unlock the Haste of Hermes achievement in Hades - Definitive Guide
The Lambent Plume is the keepsake from Hermes. Like other keepsakes, gift Hermes a Nectar when you see his boon, a large wing, to obtain it.
Whilst equipped, this keepsake will give you a small stacking buff of 1/1.1/1.2% dodge chance and movement speed (at keepsake ranks 1/2/3) whenever you clear a room within a certain time limit. Under the keepsake image on the left of the screen, a small timer will start counting down whenever you enter combat. You must clear the room before this runs out to add another stack of the buff and the time will vary from room to room.
At rank 3 you will need to clear 17 rooms within the timer on a single escape attempt to reach the 20% needed for the achievement.
Note - clearing the small rooms in the Temple of Styx do not count, only the final room of each of the 5 Satyr Tunnels will grant you a stack of the buff.
Since the early rooms are easier to clear quickly, make sure the Lambent Plume is equipped at the start of an escape attempt and keep it on. Do not swap it for a different keepsake as this will remove all stacks obtained so far.
I preferred using the Twin Fists as they are a very aggressive weapon and will benefit from the dodge and movement speed. Focus on getting strong damage boons for your Attack and Special as speed is the only thing you need to worry about. Many boon combinations will work but I found Artemis (crit damage), Aphrodite (high damage %) and Zeus (chain lightning) helped a lot.

TIP: I recommend waiting to do this until you've max ranked the Lambent Plume Keepsake to level 3. It will be easier.
The Lambent Plume is a Keepsake given to you by Hermes (see Something From Everyone ) and it gives you +1/ 1.1/ 1.2% (rank 1/2/3) dodge chance and move speed for each Encounter you clear quickly. There's no set time for what's "quick" or not as it differs per room, but on the left side of your screen beneath the Keepsake icon, there will be a clock-like image that indicates whether you are still eligible for the bonus +% for that Encounter or not. If the clock disappears, it means you've taken too long in this room and thus the Encounter you're in will not count towards the 20%.
If you do it at rank 1, it will take you 20 Encounters cleared quickly to reach the required 20%. It's best to try this with your Lambent Plume maxed at rank 3 instead, as it will only take you 17 Encounters cleared quickly to reach the required +20%.
Once you reach +20% dodge chance (specifically from the Keepsake; extra dodge chance from other sources will not count), the trophy should pop. You don't need to do anything with that like kill mobs with it, just reach that level.
The best tips I can offer are:

The best tips I can offer are:
-
Do not use the Pact of Punishment! Why make things harder for yourself unnecessarily?!
- You can use just about any weapon for this one, whichever you're best at and is your hardest hitting one. I wouldn't recommend the Spear, simply because it takes too long to kill with, and same goes for the Malphon Fists, unless you've upgraded them to the max. The remaining 4 are all great choices, depending on your play-style. Either way, go with the one you know you can kill the fastest with.
- Great Boon choices for this are obviously those with the biggest damage buffs you can find. Don't just focus on the Boon power but the bonus damage % that's listed when you choose. Other good options are those that have damaging status effects, such as Dionysus' Hangover, Ares' Doom, and Poseidon's Rupture (if you have knockback Boons). These can do a lot of damage if you know how to use them.
- Go for it! This is all about speed. It doesn't matter whether you take damage or not, so go on the offensive and go all out for this one! That's the best way to do this one without needing too many repeat attempts.
