How to unlock the Brotherhood achievement in Hollow Knight: Voidheart Edition - Definitive Guide
To earn this achievement you must complete the first pantheon in Godhome, which is accessed by hitting the Godseeker in the Junk Pit (the large room on the bottom left of the Royal Waterways) with the Dream Nail. Be aware if you haven't visited this area before you will need a simple key to unlock Godseeker's cocoon first.
Pantheons are basically a bossrush mode, and in each one you will fight various combinations of bosses you've encountered throughout the game before capping it off with a new boss unique to that pantheon. Pantheons are typically late game content and should only be completed once you've finished the main storyline, but this particular pantheon is filled with early game bosses so if you wish to tackle it earlier you may be able to do so. Still, I recommend doing this only after acquiring all nail upgrades, all charms + notches, and all mask + vessel upgrades.
When you start a pantheon you can select OPTIONAL bindings that will make the run more difficult. These ARE NOT REQUIRED to earn this achievement, so only use them if you really want to challenge yourself.
-Nail Binding reduces your weapon damage
-Shell Binding reduces your maximum health to 4 (not including lifeblood masks)
-Charms Binding unequips all of your charms
-Soul Binding only allows you to hold enough soul for one heal/spell at a time.
In the Pantheon of the Master you will fight, in order:
1. Vengefly King
2. Gruz Mother
3. False Knight
4. Massive Moss Charger
5. Hornet (Protector)
REST ROOM - here you will find a bench and hot spring
6. Gorb
7. Dung Defender
8. Soul Warrior
9. Brooding Mawlek
NON-COMBAT ROOM - here you can speak with the Godseeker, but you CAN NOT rest or replenish soul
10. Nailmasters Oro & Mato
If you save the pantheons for the late game most of these bosses should be fairly trivial outside of Oro & Mato. Use whatever loadout is most comfortable for you. Because these were easier bosses, I opted for a comfort build consisting of Mark of Pride, Unbreakable Strength, Unbreakable Heart, and Quick Focus. This allowed me to play fast & loose while still being able to tank damage/heal when necessary. The only frustrating part can come from dying late in the run and having to start completely over, but if you've finished the Coliseum of Fools you hopefully have adapted to this annoyance and are ready to take on the Pantheon of the Master.
