How to unlock the Adaptive warfare achievement in Homefront: The Revolution - Definitive Guide

This achievement can be unlocked both in the main singleplayer campaign and the cooperative Resistance Mode.

You need to get a kill of enemy (not civilian) with every weapon and attachment. For example, if you get a kill with the basic pistol with suppressor and laser sight, you are done with both the pistol and the two attachments. You don't need to use any of the two attachments on other weapons for the purpose of unlocking this achievement.

Where to farm the kills (in the main campaign):
If you are like me and prefer to stick with just one or two weapons, wait until you reach the third red zone (Lombard). You will be starting this zone next to the underground entrance/exit, and there's a Gunsmith Locker (weapon shop) next to you. Exit the underground and kill an enemy with your weapon of choice and then either die or run back to the weapon shop to switch to your next weapon. There are tons of enemies when you first reach this area and the shop is so close that it is easy to switch weapons.

For me, it seemed to pop when I used all attachments for all weapons.

Popped for me like OP described. Make sure you don't kill enemy by shooting barrels or gas. Always do direct hit kill.

It works fine the thing is to not forget to use the actual sniper scope which is 7.5x.

I did exactly what the OP explained, but in Resistance Mode/multiplayer and it worked good for me. I did all the kills in private matches and got 2-3 kills with each weapon and then died and just reloaded the match up with a new weapon set. I did the map "Boom Patrol" on easy.

You of course need to unlock all the weapons and attachments in this mode, but it was easier than starting a whole new play through just for this one achievement.

I did this in resistance mode, the one that popped it was the limpet mine launcher. I used this gun 4 times while making a list of each gun I used for the achievement along with attachments. On my 5th go through with all the guns it unlocked.

I did do this in campaign and it didn't unlock. Then went into resistance and farmed for the 16 guns and 9 attachments needed. I went through and did them all without resetting the game or console and it didn't unlock.

Then i started to restart the game after each gun kill with attachments, but that didn't work. I also hard resetted, then got a kill with everything and it still didn't unlock. I hard resetted again and started going through them again, and it randomly unlocked on a gun I definitely did 4 times.

So this achievement is definitely buggy. Also I didn't use every attachment on every gun. For example once I did the reflex I didn't use it again, so at least the part is true. I just made sure I used the 9 attachments needed and the 16 guns before I tried all over again.

Just like xMileyAshlynx posted above, the sniper scope was holding me back in single player from getting this to pop.

Marksman Rifle w/7.5 scope popped it after I ran through all other weapons / attachments in Lombard zone.

Pavolva's explanation is way too extensive. You do not need to do every varient of every gun. As OP said, once you've used an attachment for a kill, you are done with that attachment. Just a note for gathering money for weapons, attachments, and gear ( as you might want to fully loadout on gear to help beat the game ) look for white containers (like the containers with motorcycle stashes) many of these have locks on them you can cut. In these containers are 10-16 monitors/computers/hard drives. Easy money makers without risking combat. They can be just on the ground or attached to a semi truck.

I just went through the entire list of weapons and attachments and it didn't pop for me. Not sure what I could have done wrong. I see that others have been unlocking it recently so I'm not sure it's glitched either.

To unlock this trophy, you will need to kill at least one KPA soldier with each weapon and each modification.

Here is a list of all weapons and attachments:

You only need to use each attachment with one weapon. For example, if you use the SMG with the Holographic sight, the Foregrip and the Suppressor, you won't need to use these attachments with another weapon.

The trophy is not glitchy! You just need to do everything right, you can even do it in several playthroughs, the main thing is to start a new game on old saves.

I had a problem with it, but then I figured out what needed to be done. You must kill with every weapon and be sure to use every attachment at least once. I didn’t get a trophy precisely because I missed one of the “Sniper Scope” attachments.

That is, for the trophy you need to use:

Gun
Submachine gun
Air gun
Crossbow
Blunderbass
Flamethrower

Mortar with magnetic mines

Glitchy Trophy! I killed 2-3 people with all types of weapons and all types of modifications, I did not receive a trophy. I also killed a Korean, crushing him with a motorcycle/also stabbed him with a knife, but there was no trophy.

The trophy is really glitchy. Dropped out after restarting the game.
I would also like to add that attachments to weapons do not affect it - it is enough to kill with all the weapons and their modifications that are selected on R1

The trophy is NOT glitchy, it didn't drop at first. The point is to kill from all modifications + you need to kill one from each module on the weapon (all sights, tsu, bipods, etc.)
