How to unlock the End of the World achievement in Kingdom Hearts Final Mix - Definitive Guide

This trophy is story related and cannot be missed.

Upon arriving in Hollow Bastion you encounter Riku who takes away your KeyBlade and your team members, leaving you only with Beast left whom you meet at the same time. Travel to the right where the castle gates face and take the bubble down to the undergrounds of the palace where you will turn on an order of switches leading up to the switch to the main castle gates.

Return back to the main gates where you will have your first boss fight against Riku.

Riku:

Riku is an easy opponent for this fight, simply attack him during the recover animation of his strikes. When he leaps up in the air and lands slowly to the ground is a big chance to do a lot of damage to him.

Maleficent:

Use gravity on her platform and continue to attack her as she is forced down. Later in the fight if you leave her afloat for too long she will summon strikes of lighting to attack you from above so quickly use gravity on her before those attacks can hit you.

Maleficent Dragon:

Maleficent Dragon is one of the harder bosses on Proud difficulty and will require complete patience. At the start of the fight go ahead and summon Tinkerbell, she will be needed for this first and go ahead and aim for the Maleficent Dragon's head, which is the only point of her where you can deal damage.

Maleficent Dragon will eventually summon green flames that will scatter around the field, a lot of which have a chance of hitting you, here you want to either retreat behind one of the tree roots near the walls or retreat to high ground. Which ever you decide to do, be ready to spam Guard in place in case any of the flames go near you, this will deflect it back at Maleficient as well as give you tech points. Keep to the high grounds when you're running low on health and abuse Tinkerbell as much as you can.

Riku Fight 2:

This is probably the hardest story related boss fight in the game, you face Riku in a 1v1 fight. Riku is a fast opponent and will block nearly all of your attacks, the only time you can really attack him is when he leaps forward and slashes the ground in front of him. If you dodge roll you won't make it in time to punish him so you will have to run around the attack normally and attack him immediately. He will also occasionally throw his weapon at you similar to Strike Raid which you can dodge roll or ideally guard and deflect back at him.

After a while Riku will power up and during each power up he will dash all over the screen and end it in an explosion, when he does this you can jump and just glide near one of the corners and you won't get hit. However the problem here now is that he's a bit harder to hit since that leap he does covers more range with his dark magic so you'll have to be constantly moving and looking out it. Eventually he will stay in this powered up state and continue to attack you with his powered up attacks, at this point you want to make sure you have Aero on and risk getting hurt in order to damage him. If you can damage him enough for a stun state you can activate Arcanum (assuming you have it equipped) to deal nearly the finishing blow.

Overall this fight is about patience and staying completely focused.
