Knights Contract

OK this witch can be a little annoying at time. Trude herself is nothing to defeat. Its the 2 snakes that she has with her that are the problem. As soon as the fight starts concentrate on knocking out the 2 snakes. As far as i can tell they cannot be killed. Just knocked out for a few seconds. The snakes have multiple attacks , freezing you , smashing you , eating you , and blowing you backwards. The best way to start the fight is lock onto a snake and cast Enoch's Hammer on it. Mine was lvl 2 and knocked it out first hit. The second snake strikes so just attack it until it slithers back then cast hammer on him to knock him out. When both are out Trude attacks. She is simple to defeat as long as the snakes cant interfere. When she attacks just run up into her face and start attacking with X. Perform the Colchis's Trap and press B to perform a heavy finisher. It wont kill her but will take a good chunk out of her health. Just keep lock on and pressing X while spamming all of your spells back to back and she drops like a rock into the QTE. The button sequence for the QTE are as follows (in my game. not sure if it varies) LS down - Y - Rapidly hit B - A.

A great way to avoid the hassle of dealing with both of the snake heads is to stick to the far left or far right or the boss arena. The snake cannot hit you with it's ice breath (which is the most annoying part) and allows you to focus on knocking it out with your magic.

The snake can still hit you with it's other attacks so if Gretchen becomes too damaged pick her up and run to the back of the arena avoiding any attacks from the snakes or Trude. (The snakes cannot hit you with their ice breath at the far back)
