How to unlock the Pocket Circuit Pro achievement in Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name - Definitive Guide

I used this guide to help me with this one. There are a few builds where you end up bouncing off the track too much. If that’s the case, put on a front wing/suspension so you stay on the track more. Besides that, just follow the instructions and it should be easy!

@deutschZuid there should be a cutscene where she takes you a new area with a new track when you have won the required races. This where it unlocks.

Thanks Calex. I just got this. It's right after you complete the CourStar Race, which is the ninth race.

I couldn't find any guide that include which car to use for the parts configuration, that's strange. Do they assume we have to always use the default one?

On the last one, I almost crashed and hit boost instead of button mash, and I somehow stayed on the track and won because the boost pushed me too far ahead of everyone else. Glad that's over. On to the final substory, the Cabaret clubs, and the final two platinum coliseum matches. I haven't even finished the story yet.

Also, this guide helped me except for the last race, which I got lucky: https://gamerant.com/lad-gaiden-pocket-circuit-guide-part-lo...

For me worked like charm. For some reason I was never able to win CouStar race with setup from another guider (thegamer.com). No boost needed and just one B mashing.

This is tricky, not least due to instances where your Pocket Circuit car can inexplicably fly off the track, ending your race in unceremonious fashion. The best course of action is to spend any ‘pp’ currency you earn winning races on parts, so you have plenty of options when it comes to assembling Pocket Circuit car builds. Use suspension to soften your landings and front wings (unlocked later) to increase your downforce.

For those tricky corners, a side stabiliser is helpful but not always essential, while the best rubber frame you can afford is also a good shout. Then, it’s just a case of getting the right balance of speed and acceleration using the right combination of motors and gears. For the final (and most challenging) CourStar Race before accessing the Masters Circuit ‘in back’, we used the Bangin’ Killer Bee chassis with Ultra Slim Tires, Rubber Frame, Godspeed Motor, Super Boost Gears, High Capacity Battery, Medium Suspension, and Box Wing. Judicious boost on the loop-de-loop laps (in the green lane) is also risky, but recommended. Just be ready to hammer that B/circle button if you’re losing stability, otherwise you’ll go off the track and your race will be over.

The mini-game almost always requires the correct choice of the correct combination of car and parts for each track.
The main strategy is to achieve the maximum speed and acceleration values at any cost, other parameters can often be simply ignored.
It is better not to use acceleration unless the guide states otherwise - most often it will simply lead to flying off the track.
If you still can't win with the parts described in the guide, it's time to change the car.
A text guide (en) with a list of parts needed to win on each track.
