How to unlock the Overkill achievement in Magic: The Gathering - Duels of the Planeswalkers - Definitive Guide
Create a custom duel, in which you start with 40 life and 9 cards while the A.I. starts with 20 life and 5 cards. PLay against Garruk Wildspeaker, as this deck has no spells that will remove tour monsters from play. I used the mono-green deck, but the elf deck works just as well.
Play as many creatures as it takes to get to 75 damage or greater. It took me about 20 or so turns to get the right amount. Enchantments that add to your monsters attack for one turn DO COUNT, so make use of those cards in your deck.

I don't know why but this achievement won't pop for me. I've tried it three times and I know I'm doing it right. Any advice?

This is also and easy way to do it.... use the teeth of the predator deck have it lvled to where you have the Howl of the Night Pack card. play this card with a crap load of mana i had 10. then use a Blanchwood armor and then use a over run. it took me about 15 turns it was the 3rd ach i got for the game lol... hopes this helps just remember to duel chandra nalaar. After you play the "Howl" she has nothing to stand up to that so its and easy win. just to many 5/5 's in one turn. also if get lucky you can snag the Devastator ach. in the same game!!
to make is easier because this is pretty easy
find a friend with this game take mono green deck
if you have full mono green deck it will be easier
you can also take the elves deck all you need to do is use your cards wisely
if you dont have full mono green have a boost session with your friend to get it
this is what you do:
let your friend do nothing
use blenchwood armor on your creatures to make them stronger you can even put it on a monster who's strenght is already equal to the amount of forest you have he will get +2/+2 for every forest you have instant succes
use overrun(all monsters get +3/+3 and trample until end of this turn) only in the end when you are sure you have enough strenght to get achievement
you can get an other achievement by doing 30 damage to your enemy in 1 turn
hopefully it works

This achievement is pretty easy bearing in mind you use the right deck and play against the right opponent. How I obtained this is I played with the 'Claws of Vengeance' deck, against Chandra Nalaar.
I chose Chandra as my opponent as this pure Red Deck has very weak creature spells. Only the Earth Elemental's and Goblin King are a threat as Goblin Kings 'Mountainwalk' ability can be a pain if you don't have any incinerates backed up and ready to go to take him out. Also Chandra has several of annoying but not to bothersome direct damage sorceries and instants, which can take you out fast if you don't get your health back quickly.
Make sure with the Claws of Vengeance that you have the 'Godsire,' ultra rare unlocked. You will need this creature card to complete this achievement.
Start off by attempting to get the 'Angels Feather' and 'Dragons Claw' artifacts out early (they give you 1 life for each white and red spell casted. Dragons Claw is especially useful as each spell Chandra cast's also heals you) as they help you with weathering Chandra's 'Lava Axes,' 'Incinerates' 'Prodigal Sorcerers' and 'Shock's.'
Try to get out your Tundra Wolves (1/1 First Strike) to prevent his Goblins from rushing you early as well. You should be pretty good at this point also keep in mind 'Wrath of God' (Destroy all creatures in play. They cannot be regenerated) can be quite handy too if he seems to be getting the upper hand on you with his Earth Elementals, Hill Giants and Lightning Elementals. Once you get about 6-8 turns in you should have brought out some Bull Ceradons, and Wooly Thoctars for defense.
At this point you've won the game and can sit back and wait it out until you get 'Godsire' in play. Remember every turn you can tap Godsire at no additional mana each turn and get an 8/8 red, white, and green creature into play every turn. Once you have Godsire out and Chandra locked down you can get this achievement in about 9 turns.

This achievement can be done very easily if you have unlocked most of the cards for the Ears of the Elves deck. The cards that were very helpful for this were:
Elvish Champion - passive ability that gives all Elf creatures +1/+1 and forestwalk
Lys Alana Huntmaster - whenever you cast an Elf spell, you may put a 1/1 green Elf Warrior creature token onto the battlefield
Coat of Arms - easily the most useful card once you have a bunch of elves. Each creature gets a +1/+1 for each other creature on the battlefield that shares at least one creature type with it.
Immaculate Magistrate - tap to put a +1/+1 counter on target creature for each Elf you control
Imperious Perfect - passive ability that gives other Elf creatures you control +1/+1. Tap to put a 1/1 green elf warrior token onto the battlefield.
Nath of the Gilt-Leaf - At the beginning of your upkeep, you may have target opponent discard a card at random. Whenever an opponent discards a card, you may put a 1/1 green Elf Warrior token onto the battlefield.
With the right combination of the above cards, you can pretty quickly get a large arm of angry little elves. I think when I drew Coat of Arms, my total creature power was 273!
Hope this helps :)

Actually very simple to do. Using the teeth of the predator deck, unlocked (maybe wth expansions, I don't know as I haven't played without), makes this very quick. Carls like overrun, blanchwood armor, giant growth really boost your attack power and cards like howl of the night pack generate a LOT of creatures. Got this on the third level of single player campaign without intending to...
The description pretty much says it all. Note that you don't need a single creature that big, but rather the total power among all creatures you control must be seventy-five or greater. As anyone who has ever played around with the Elf deck can tell you, this is pretty easy to pull off. To make this as quick and easy as possible, go into Custom Games and create a match against Garruk. I use Garruk because he doesn't have any creature removal for you to worry about and the deck is generally pretty weak when used by the AI.
Set his starting hand size to five and yours to nine. Also set your life total to 40 if you think you need it, but you probably won't. Go into the game and mulligan until you get a decent starting hand, preferably with something to create tokens and/or Immaculate Magistrate. Then just keep buffing creatures and creating tokens without attacking until the achievement pops, then either exit the game or attack for the win.
