How to unlock the Pinpoint Shot achievement in Mass Effect: Andromeda - Definitive Guide
The weakpoints on some of the early enemies are the heads on the Kett and Exiles and the light fixtures on the Remnants.
Architects can be found on multiple planets, and are usually encountered in side missions.
Aim for the head on humanoid enemies, and the lights on robotic enemies. Animals have varying weak points.
You have a chance to pick up a sniper rifle on the prologue. It's next the ship Cora crashes in. After the prologue, you'll have access to the pathfinder sniper as well. During Eos, scope mods for Assault Rifle or Pistol could drop. If they don't, new vendors will appear at the Nexus. The 'General' merchant should always sell both scope mods.
Good early weapons to use are:
The pathfinder assault rifle: high-accuracy 3-round burst. Increase stability for best results. Can function like a sniper rifle.
The Avenger Assault rifle: Low-accuracy, but high rate of fire. Any scope will boost accuracy, but it's still a medium range weapon.
The viper sniper rifle: Better rate of fire, lower damage per shot than the pathfinder one.
Later on, try:
P. A. W. assault rifle: This is my favorite weapon. It fires a continuous beam with near perfect accuracy. Give it a scope and stability upgrades.
Raptor Sniper rifle: The highest rate of fire and stability of any sniper rifle. Functions like an assault rifle. You may want to equip a spare clip mod.
Weak points would be the heads of your enemies (Kett) or the red lights on Remnant machines.

This trophy can only be earned in single player mode.
In order to unlock this trophy, you will have to shoot enemy weak points with a sniper rifle zoomed in, or with another gun that has a scope attachment on it. Assault Rifles are recommended if you plan to not use the sniper rifle. Many enemies have weak points on their heads, so going for headshots with the sniper rifle or assault rifle using a scope if a good idea. The Remnant enemies usually have a red glowing spot that can be shot for big damage, as it's their major weak point.
There is a gigantic Remnant enemy called the Architect (giant worm machine), which can be fought once on each planet (Eos, Voeld, Kadara, and Elaaden) during side missions. You can shoot these enemies on their leg and head conduits (weak points) to do massive damage to them. You can get the majority of you weak point hits on these enemies as it takes a lot of bullets to break on conduit.
If you need the scope mod for your guns, you can purchase them off merchants by going to the mods menu. By actively going for headshots during you single player campaign, you should get this trophy naturally.
The most obvious weak point will be the head on most enemies. Using a scoped weapon (snipers being the first available, and you should get a scoped accuracy attachment for your assault rifle fairly early), you will need to shoot whatever weak point an enemy has 250 times (heads on anything humanoid looking, red spots on robots, etc). On Insanity difficulty, enemies can take multiple shots to the head, and you'll get credit for each one. Must be done in SP.
and combine with Friendly Fire / Friendly Fire . Almost every shot at the Architecture will be critical (at least to the head). Done in a couple of minutes.
