Some Robot Masters are weak to more than one abilities from them. Sometimes using an alternative ability is easier. Which is very true for a challenge like this. I will be honest, some of their weaknesses are flawed in annoying ways.
I highly recommend learning all forty six Robot Masters present in this challenge. A handful of them you need to be patient. They're invulnerability time is slightly longer like Charge Man. Some abilities have different effects among hitting the wall like Crystal Eye.
Thankfully, the order of bosses will never change. Sometimes when you take a hit that's meant to kill you but an Robot Master died. You will be sent to the next one very low on health. Mega Man 1's Robot Masters can be kill faster by glitching.
You use their weakness then quickly as soon as it reaches them. You quickly pause & unpause until either your attack fully pass through them or finish them off. In Wood Man's case, you can get close using Air Man's ability to quickly kill him if you're fast enough.
Some of these abilities will be use up faster than others. I would say Top Man's is hands down the worst at this. Although, it only goes down when it hits Shadow Man. You could by accident end up using too much of it forcing you to dramatically change strategies.
A handful of them can stop you moving. I would say Bright Man ends up being the most annoying out of those bosses. Most of them are rather easier than you would expect. By the way, when Gyro Man is in the air yes he still takes damage.
Which brings me to another tip relating to both him & Wind Man. You got to wait a little longer than you regularly would before using their weaknesses. You can use up their weaknesses to finish them off.
Another important tip is Mega Man 2's Robot Masters are taken from Difficult mode. I always have problems dealing with Quick Man. You can't always rely on using his weakness to taking him down.
If you are lucky, he will move close by you for a few seconds. You need to fire as much Crash Bomber during that period. If it hits the wall, do your best to tricking him to go where that bomb is.
I should point out, a few bosses if you know the methods. You can quickly bypass them to go instantly to another Robot Master. I highly recommend you memorize their weaknesses. Some are more vulnerable to the Mega Buster than others.
Pharaoh Man at times will stop in place to fire a powerful blast. You can easily avoid it even being lower than him. It is possible to hit him twice per avoid each projectile. You still need to move quickly to avoid taking too much damage.
A couple of their weaknesses forces you to stay close to them. A great example of this is Dive Man. Thankfully his patterns are easy to memorize. I have a similar problem with Tomahawk Man since both their weaknesses are shield weapons.
Crash Man can be annoying at first. But you need to memorize how he react when you are about to fire or jump. This is critical because you can use his main weakness to take him out quickly in record time.

This challenge features every Robot Master from Mega Man 1-6, and becomes available after completing around 80 - 90% of the challenges. To unlock the trophy, you only need to complete the challenge. This challenge isn't hard, but it's pretty long since you have 46 bosses to work through. Fortunately, you have all items available to you. If you need to find a boss's weakness, I listed them all under the trophies for completing their respective games.
