How to unlock the Death Spheres achievement in Neverwinter - Definitive Guide

In Castle Never dungeon, after fighting Cthylar and before getting to the final boss, you'll hit a cutscene of a man being chased and killed by a death sphere. These are the things you'll want to avoid. They follow a set path and there are safe zones throughout the section where you can fight without getting hit by one. There are 4 total to avoid.

Unsummon your companions or they will void your run if they get hit.

1st - Wait until it comes down the hallway and passes you on the left, then head back the way it came and go through the doorway on the left. You can also chase behind it, but it's a little riskier.
2nd - This one patrols in a rectangular path throughout two rooms. You can avoid the monsters on the right by going into the left room. The entire far left of that room is safe to wait in until the sphere passes.
3rd - The death sphere takes up a good portion of this room, but the right corner near the entrance is safe. SedateRial has pointed out in the comments to be careful about hugging the wall, as the second sphere might hit you through it. So alternatively, you can wait on top of the boxes across from the entrance. Wait here until the orb is out of the hallway, then go down the hallway and wait in the corner.
4th - You must follow behind this one in order to get past it. Follow it into the room, where there will be demons, and get in the corner with the bench/pew. Your group can safely fight the enemies here. Wait until the sphere passes back into the hallway and make your way to the bonfire.

I've had my companions get beat up before I'm pretty sure and it still counted? I can't believe that I got past the orbs with my companions safe every time so far....

Yeah, I got credit for a run today with my companion going down twice. YMMV.

This is a personal achievement right? It won't void if a member of your group gets hit instead of you, will it?

you might want to be careful with the third one. if you are too far in the right corner, the second one can still hit you through the wall. the second sphere's influence goes through the wall and can make the safe zone a lot smaller

I don't want to make another solution as yours is very thorough, but I do want to recommend a major change for the last sphere, the one you have to follow through the doorway. Instead of going into the left corner and risking a death or something there, instead hug the right side wall as soon as you go through the doorway, run to the corner, wait behind the benches/pews and then slip through to the fire once the orb has gone back quickly and get the credit right away!

Prior to reaching Orcus's Chamber you will encounter four Death Spheres. They are referenced by a short cut scene of a sphere chasing, and killing, an NPC. These floating green balls of death have a red aura around them that you must avoid. If you have a dodge type class mechanic you can avoid the pulsating damage by rolling through it, though I wouldn't risk it. Otherwise you'll have to wait for it to pass in a safe place.

Sphere 1: This has the longest track; right after the cutscene the sphere will pass you by. Once it passes left, everyone should move out to the right and down the hall.
Sphere 2: This one rotates around the room, as you enter it should be coming towards you. Simply duck into the left side of the room and progress to the next area.
Sphere 3: This one can be tight; either wait in the hall, or move into the room near the secret hallway and wait for it to pass left and run past it right and head into the corner.
Sphere 4: Sphere 4 and 3 almost meet each other in the hall, if you're in the corner you'll be safe. Once Sphere 4 retreats, follow it into the room and move left, there are some bookcases you can get behind. Once the Sphere passes back out into the hallway, move up to the bonfire. Fight any remaining mobs here.

You have two maps to choose from for your viewing pleasure; the first I found, the 2nd I made which is the actual map of Castle Never. Red represents the death spheres and the blue boxes represent safe zones.
