How to unlock the Roadkill achievement in Overwatch 2 - Definitive Guide

This one the of easier achievements however I bought the game preorder and still took one month and a half to unlock it. So it is basically making 4+ kills with a single Rip-Tire which is Junkrats (crazy grenade launcher guy) ultimate (Y) ability. After you launched the ultimate Junkrat can die and you can still control the Tire. You have 10 seconds to blow it up in someones face with the right trigger. The Tire is very mobile, you can make sharp turns, you can jump (A) with it, and if you jump on a wall the Tire climbs it. It deals 600 pure damage meaning it kills everything instantly not boosted by Lucio, or hiding behind Reinhardts shield (it can't kill Zenyatta using his ultimate, but can kill his teammates). It has a very big radius even upwards so even jetpacking Pharas aren't safe. It's worth noting the Tire has a 100Hp health bar and can be destroyed by shooting it before it detonates so a frontal assault usually means zero kills.

The easiest way to get this is on defense in any "capture the points" level (Hanamura, Volskaya) especially at the last seconds. On these levels attacking teams are usually pushing together with a Reinhardt concentrating on the defensive turrets and snipers. Even if they take the point they are usually stay together to make the capture faster. A Rip-Tire launched from behind or from a high place is a guaranteed 3+ kill in these situations.

Fuck this achievement. Last one I need in the game and I have spent 15 hours with Junkrat trying to get it.

I think this achievement has become glitched since the most recent patch. I technically just got it and a buddy of mine killed 5 people with his tire and neither of us got the unlock.

Don't worry about this one, guys. Overwatch is a huge (and young) game, Blizzard is a respected company. No way they aren't fixing this achievement. Besides, they already fixed one other achievement before.

Man, I'm so sad. I just got a quad kill with it and the achievement didn't pop. Total bummer...

Just got this on dorado as attacking team. Our payload was almost at the end so I knew the defending team would all be right there, hid behind the payload and bam!

Took me 13+ hours of Junkrat to finally get this. All I can say is, find somewhere hidden to set it off, where the enemy team won't think to look. Otherwise, they'll see you coming a mile away.

Here's where I got it, for those looking for another good location to try ulting from: http://i.imgur.com/rlIH2OU.gifv

*Edit of original comment* After about 4 or so hours the achievement did pop out of no where. So the achievement is NOT glitched as of 5/12/17

*original comment * As of 5/12/17 Not sure if it is just me or it's bugged again but I have the spray and the clip of myself getting a 5 kill with my tire in quickplay but no achievement popped. I will update/edit this post if that changes and it does pop.

Junkrat's RIP Tire isn't always the easiest thing to get multi-kills with. If you've been struggling to unlock his Cute spray by eliminating 4+ enemies, here are six tips that should help:

1) Hide in a good spot so you aren't killed.
2) Flank the enemy team before using RIP Tire.
3) Use during the final push for max elims.
4) Try higher ground to surprise enemies.
5) Avoid tanks when trying to get achievement.
6) Wait to detonate in the middle of enemy group!

I think the most convenient cards for this moment are Dorado in defense, the first checkpoint to accompany the cargo, you can jump onto the platform above the gate, you need to wait until the enemies have almost dragged the cargo to the CT, it is best to work in tandem with the widow so that she gives infravision , and also on this map before the second CT you can also jump up the back of the enemy.
Another map is Kings Row, also for defense, but before the final CT, you can also jump up and wait for the enemy.

Junkrat can freely jump high into the air using his ability mines, it does not damage him. Place a mine under your feet, jump up and detonate, Junkrat will immediately fly up.

These ambush spots are good for Junkrat, Pharah, and Reaper.
