How to unlock the What? You Want Me to Dance? achievement in PAYDAY 2: CRIMEWAVE EDITION - Definitive Guide
Difficulty: Mayhem
EDIT: UltimateDespair mentioned an incredibly useful tip in the comments below that can save you some much needed minutes while going for this achievement. You effectively have the chance to skip part 3! Please be aware, it works with the update that introduces the continental coins into the game, however it may be patched in the future!
The second you place the USB Stick you can immediately hack the laptop (Basically quickly pressing RB twice and holding it the second time), which makes the game think you haven’t started the hack on the laptop while still hacking it, thus never triggering the security boxes and never being interrupted,
This works because you’re hacking the laptop before the game knows you’ve put the USB stick into the computer and was a common speedrunning glitch that was patched on Steam, but remains possible on the current patch of the console version. The prompt to hack the laptop will remain on screen but you can enter the mansion and continue the heist as normal.
As per usual, I will outline a solo guide. If you have any partners, this will be a hell of a lot faster.
If you don't like reading and would prefer a visual, please check out my video guide at the bottom of this solution.
Remember that throughout your runs you just need to be prepared for when the RNG works in your favour. You need to be prepared for the optimal set-up and be prepared for the worse setups too! Essentially, learn this map like the back of your hand!
General Map Info
-Outside guards have no pagers
-Guards inside the mansion have pagers
-You can kill all of the outside guards should they all be out of view of any cameras.
-Keep an eye out while running to the computer/security boss locations for the security boxes. If you know where they are, it can save a lot of time
-There are (from what I found) 3 different security boxes that spawn in a single run. You only need to rewire 2 of the 3.(Part 3)
-The security boss has 3 different spawn locations(Part 2)
-The indication of the boss being in a location is a radio in his vicinity, and of course the boss himself
-The computer has 2 spawn locations(Part 2)
I'll try to provide a play-by-play as best as I can in the form of parts contained within spoiler tags. They are hidden in spoilers to avoid clutter and ease of navigation through this guide.
Part 1: Spawn Area
Part 1.5: Kill Every Outside Guard(Optional)
Part 2: Computer Locations(CL)/Security Boss(SB)
Part 3: Security Boxes (Can be skipped with the quick interaction exploit)
Part 4: Entering/Opening The Mansion
Part 5: Yayo/Making The Call
Part 6: Mansion Second Half
Part 7: The Last Leg
Your achievement will unlock upon completion of the level.
Anyways, that's it. That's all I could think of at least. Let me know if I should add anything and good luck everyone going for this RNG dependent achievement!

Some of you may have noticed that this guide has been updated, I just wanted to come back and truly "refine" this solution to be more useful and less cluttered. Figured it may need it after 2 years lol. Maybe I'll come back in 2 more years???? I guess we'll see
What I changed in the solution update (August 2021):
-Removed unnecessary text
-Removed contradictory or repetitive statements (due to continuous updates from the comments and me not really paying attention to where I put it)
-Added spoiler tags to make solution navigation easier and avoid too much text / clutter
-Added the updated video guide, using a combination of the tips found in the updated version of this guide
I would also finally like to give thanks to the users that helped me make this guide more informative and beneficial to those who use it: Fooga for his comments about guards spotting dead bodies, UltimateDespair for the "quick interaction" skip, and Healtti for the "parkour" tips and confirming that the interaction skip is still working in 2021!
If you give me negative feedback, please let me know why or PM me. Negative criticism can still be useful and constructive
The two locations where it happened were the first Security Boss spawn (according to your guide), and the outside pool area in the front.
After enough runs, you can start to pick out the locations of bodies that may cause issues. Anywhere in front of a door should be a red flag for you and areas under balconies should make you cautious. There are 3 locations that you will want to look out for:
As you said, SB1 and the swimming pool can cause issues, but there is one more balcony on the right side near SB3 that contains guards. They’ve seen a body of mine more than once before, so you’ll definitely want to look out for those three areas
You must play on Mayhem, Death Wish, or Death Sentence difficulty to pip the trophy at the end of the heist for anyone in the lobby. Due to the speed run element, the heist should be played on Mayhem for a few less guards and preferably co-op to split objective responsibilities and cut chunks of time off the heist.
Try to recall all the information you soaked in from Every Dog Has His day. Remember you only need to take the yayo to finish the mission, so don’t waste time with money bags. Don’t forget, you can kill the two roamers in the red room if you’ve shuffled nicely through the heist and have at least two pagers remaining. With a little luck, the time crunch isn’t too bad. If you want to remove a bit of the luck element, you can tango with a few partners to really zip through the job. You’ll want to split into an inside and outside team. With class team work you will breeze through the heist effectively removing the time element from this trophy; see below for the tasks each team has, as well as perspectives of the run.
Inside Team
This team should be the players most familiar with the interior of the mansion, since it can’t be brute forced like the outside. In the beginning, this team will swoop up the left side of the house and be responsible for the shed laptop and switch boxes that spawn on that side of the house. Once access is gained to the inside, they will clear all objectives and chuck the loot down to the outside team. Help them move bags if need be and stand in the zone to end the heist. My mate wuthg21’s point of view can be viewed below.
Outside Team
The team will comprise of the folks least comfortable with the interior of the mansion to avoid unnecessary risk inside the mansion – the more people inside, the greater detection risk. Opposite of the Inside team, this group will head off and clear the right side of the map, as well as take responsibility for the garage laptop and switch boxes on their side of the map. Whilst the inside crew works away, you’ll need to be prepared to run the bags. Once the bags start flying out, grab them and secure them at the escape as quick as possible and stand in the escape zone to finish their heist. Below is a video with my perspective of the run.
