Warning - This is a long guide
For the following guide please look at the general details needed to help you. In doing so it will make going for stealth in the Big Bang pretty risk free.
Players - You will need minimum of 2 players but recommend either 3 or 4.
Difficulty - Normal or Hard
Pre-planning - The Elevator trick escape and place a Keycard in canteen (requires skill see below).
Skills - ECMs to open doors (ECM Overide Aced - Ghost Tree)(Semi essential for 2 players, optional for 3-4)
- Inside Help (Control Freak Aced - Mastermind Tree) (Essential for placing extra Keycard)
- Picking up Keycards in Casing mode (Sixth Sense Aced - Fugitive Tree) (Essential)
- Chameleon (tag guards in casing - not essential but helpful - Ghost Tree)
Random factors - Now with pretty much every mission in Payday, the layout will change from one attempt to the next, these factors are difficult to account for and can result in a failed attempt when nothing is done wrong. I will list the bad ones to look out for below.
* Please note this guide is treating everyone as a beginner in order to give them the best chance to get the achievement, I understand many will be familiar with the mechanics of the game so please skim over any parts you have knowledge of.
One final note is that due to the method used I this guide, certain players will not get credit for completing the mission on difficulty but will get the payout and achievement. This will be explained further down.
Now onto the guide.
To start please set up yourself with the mentioned pre-planning and skills with a detection rating of around 15. Now before entering the bank, please remember that walking into a guide or standing still will alert them. To start with the Host of the mission will remain outside of the bank until stated.
Step 1 - The remaining players will enter the bank check where the double doors are and if there is a camera facing the door then I recommend restarting the mission, if not proceed to the canteen to where you placed the Keycard. You will want to dupe the Keycard by picking it up at the same time whilst still in casing mode. If you don’t managed to dupe it and do not have an ECM that opens doors then restart.
From here 2 players that have Keycards will need to go to the double doors, mask up when safe to do so and use the Keycards on both laser slots. As soon as the players do this, They must quit out of the mission and rejoin off the host. Doing this will remove the laser grid and you will rejoin back in casing mode.
Step 2 - Now 2 players will need to re-enter the bank, if you have a 3rd Keycard from duping then proceed to the Security room, if not then find the additional Keycard in the opening area before you do. You may need to search the area thoroughly but there will be a 2nd Keycard that is not the one you place. When safe to do so, the person with the Keycard masks up and enters the Security room.
Computer Hack - the next part is the most annoying part of the mission, the player in the Security Room will need to interact with the computer until a 2nd player finds the correct computer to hack in the offices. The correct computer will make an audible noise and also will flash a msg on the screen. Once you have done this, Player 1 quits out and rejoins whilst player 2 will mask up and interact with the correct office computer when safe to do so. As soon as they have done this they also quit and rejoin.
Step 3 - Once both players are back in, one player will need to go up and wait in the managers office in casing whilst the other player masks up and activates the time lock when safe to do so. They then quit out and rejoin. After a bit of time, the managers phone will ring, which player 1 will need to mask up and answer the phone when safe. As soon as the phone is answered, they can back out and rejoin (you do not need to wait for the conversation to end). Now wait for the time lock to finish.
Step 4 - Now with the time lock done and the laser grid down, all players beside the host may enter through the double doors in casing mode. (your detection will remain the same as the first room despite having walked through the double doors). In this room there will be 3 guards patrolling and some cameras, ignoring the objective for now you will want to take out the 3 guards and cameras. Make sure not to kill a guard in front of a camera as you will fail without a second chance. It is really up to you how you approach this room, but being patient and waiting for the guards to walk by good take out spots is a solid way to get through. Once the room is clear of guards and cameras, proceed with the objective until it asks you to recover codes from the managers office.
Step 5 - If a player other then the Host is still in casing then they will go to managers office and recover codes, if not, 1 player will need to quit out and rejoin before grabbing the codes, either way the player will quit out and rejoin when they have done so. At this point the Host is now safe to proceed to the vault.
Step 6 (looting) - At this point, all players should be in the vault and safe from detection, once you grab one bag, the elevator escape will be highlighted. This is in the 2nd room so you will not need to go back to the main lobby area to escape. Now loot as much as you want and escape at your own pace with all remaining players.
Summery - The quitting out method allows players to rejoin in the mode the host is in (thus the reason the host remains inactive for so long). In doing so any player that quits out and rejoins will not get credit for any difficulty but will earn money/exp and the achievement. I am unable to confirm the achievement as I earned it before coming up with this method (however, we had 2 players join mid mission and earn it so I am confident it works) any confirmation would be appreciated.

One thing it doesn't mention is there is a keycard glitch. If every person hits RB to pickup a keycard at same time, you each get it. Using the in game mission clock is best way to coordinate.
Stealth build with low detection is your best friend here. Your ultimate aim is to avoid taking too many hostages and killing too many guards to the point where you are forced into a move that will break your stealth. Honestly, this mission is tough in comparison to some of the other 'stealth' missions, but isn't too bad. Remember to turn on the burglar perk deck to help you out for this mission. The following skills / Pre-Planning will help you out immensely when going for this achievement:
Mastermind:
- Endurance Aced (This is a very basic level skill you should have for every class).
- Dominator (This helps with making guards hostages easier and civilians hostages quicker).
Enforcer:
- Transporter Aced (Moving faster with loot on your back is a must in this).
Ghost:
- Shinobi Aced (Faster movement while sneaking and less noise when killing enemies).
- Fast Hand Aced (Picking up and interacting with objects faster always helps in stealth.
- Sprinter Aced (Movement speed increase).
- Cleaner Aced (Additional body bags).
Pre-Planning:
- The elevator escape is the go-to method for stealth. It requires six favors, but is always nearby to the vault, and makes getting those few extra bags out while ECM rushing that much easier.
- Getting the additional keycard in the manager's hallway is pivotal for removing the laser pattern off of the time lock door. Breaking it down, you will need one keycard for the server room, and two for the time lock door. Duplicating the keycards when working cooperatively is highly effective.
- Body bags in the manager's office or west stairwell help tremendously in the first area as most times you will need to kill guards and civvies in positions that are not favorable to leave a body.
I suggest working with at least one other person so you can have someone else to help take hostages and monitor guard patrols. You want to work together with one person masking up early on and the other staying in casing mode to help monitor situations and move freely.
This is tricky to do. The heist is long and have very little room for mistakes. Make use of a Preplanning favor and make your escape by the elevator near the vault. This will make your life much easier near the end. The heist starts off with you having to find the Server room to hack a computer. Once that is done you will need to find the correct PC to hack. If playing solo you will need to try all computers to find the right one. However if playing with a friend you can split up and spam the Server Room PC and the 2nd player over by all the PCs. Everytime you try to use the Server room PC, the correct PC you need to hack will beep and show an error message on the screen so if the second player isn't masked up yet then he can just walk around and look at all the PCs until he finds the right one. After you have found it and hacked it, you need to activate the time-lock on the door. It can be either upstairs in plain sight or downstairs next to the cafeteria. After a minute or so the manager’s phone will ring on the 2nd floor which you need to answer due to the unscheduled time-lock opening. During that time an extra guard will also appear with the elevator on either floor so you need to watch out for him.
Once past the first Time-lock you need to head to the vault. Once at the vault you need to hit the keypad. After you need to hit up stairs and back where you came from to hack 2 computers on each side. After that you need to head back to the manager's office to get some codes. After that is done all you need to do is open the vault and enter it, get the loot and escape.
There is also the case that you hack into a computer in the server room and pick up the code right away and you won’t have to go through the trouble of hacking into a computer near bank employees. In general, I advise you to do a restart if, after hacking all the computers on the first floor, you do not find the computer you need. Because usually the computer you need is on the second floor, somewhere in the center, and you can’t do without murders and unnecessary problems.
I also advise you to find 2 cards, one can be in the safe in the office of the manager or head of the bank, in the kitchen, near one of the computers or with the manager himself. If you insert cards into a time-locked door, you will remove the laser beams. Which can greatly save the situation if suddenly someone discovers corpses in the first hall, etc.
Keep in mind that it is also better to destroy the cameras, the guards shoot them, of course, but you can always quickly understand where the guard is and take him down. And you should remember that after 20-25 minutes of playing, police officers like collectors enter the bank building and can burn anything.
The most important criterion for success is the keys to the doors to the vault. While I was replaying the mission, I discovered 6 places where they appeared. The first two are in the offices on the second floor, where there are a bunch of bookshelves, the third is behind the cashiers, the fourth is near the vault on the wall behind the L-shaped table, the fifth is opposite this table in the rooms, the sixth is on the second floor in the location with the vault on the right (if you look at the bank map above). If you play without keys with drills, it's almost a 100% failure.
You need to take out 4 bags. There are from 3 to 5 guards walking around the storage room, depending on the difficulty, but even on normal, their behavior after opening the storage facility is simply infuriating. Don't be surprised if you accidentally run straight into a guard who suddenly decided to take an unconventional route. If you still have the opportunity to kill the guard and answer the pager, then you're in luck. Otherwise, only an EMC Jammer placed on the floor can save you, and you will have 30 seconds to carry the bags; as a rule, if you are playing solo, one Jammer will most likely not be enough. Of course, unless you already brought 3 bags to the van. Choose your escape - elevator.
Update: After the latest patches, the guards no longer shoot at the open door. try not to kill anyone in the first part of the map, because in the second there will be 5 guards, 4 we kill, 5 we poison with cake, through pre-planning.
