For Snapshot 5 it is worth noting that you can go any direction through the spiky balls. I actually went straight across as this path had fewer jumps to line up.

Love these videos. Just for general knowledge there is a 60 second time limit in snapshot 3. Thumbs up.

Just follow the guide for #5. The alternative suggestion in the comments should be ignored. Once I did that and just followed the video, I got it in 3-4 tries.

Yeah...for 5, take the long way around. You'll still get heartburn, but not a brain aneurysm.

Follow the video for # 5, got it on my 2nd attempt. Just make note of how far he is from the spikes when he jumps, replicate it, Easy as pie.

I was tearing my hair out on snapshot #4.

Did this not unlock for anyone else? I did all the snaps twice, no achievement. I hate knight lore so much. I just wanna move on

#5 use D-Pad.
single presses
Take 3 steps left, Face up, Hold A to jump
Take 2 steps down, turn left, turn up, Hold A to jump
Take 2 steps down, turn left, turn up, Hold A to jump, walk to door

Obviously, eyeball it a little. You want to step down enough times where your not going to hit the ball you're jumping over. This took me probably 15-20 tries doing it this way.

For diamond geezer. With the last diamond enter the room, leave it then re-enter. The diamond shoud now be on the floor.

For #5, I moved to the left 3-4 steps, faced the exit, did a full jump to get past the first mine and a half jump to get past the second mine, which left me right in front of the third mine and no room to jump. 2-3 d-pad left taps to get some space, faced the door, and a full jump got me clear. WAY easier than going around, the walkthrough writer for this game was out of his mind.

Hey guys

I was struggling on the "Coward's way out" snapshot.

The best tips I can give is just like in the above video to move a bit to the left and up, but to go straight towards the door, as there are only three mines that way.

The other thing to note is you do not need to be holding a direction to jump. Just face the way you want to go and press A.

Use the D-pad rather then the joystick, this way you can move small amounts.

And lastly, holding the A button will make you jump further/longer. So I did small "half second" presses.

Good luck!

Follow both tips, but this tip must be out there (also helps to complete the game)

Place the boot near the ledge.
Walk to the "ledge" of the boot.

Just before jumping, press cn_X and then hold cn_A. You should recover the boot and land in the next pillar.

Repeat the whole boot placement to get to the chalice. Easier than the video.

Finish it.

The snapshots provide 'bite-sized' challenge in a pre-defined scenario in the game, accessible via the snapshots section of the Rare Replay interface. You cannot use the rewind feature when attempting these.

There are five snapshots to complete, which are as follows:

1. Unguided Tour
Visit at least six of Knight Lore Castle's rooms within 90 seconds.

You have 90 seconds to visit six different rooms of the castle (excluding the starting room). The easiest route here is to enter and exit the rooms to the top-right, top-left and bottom-left of your starting locations, the progress through the bottom-right room and follow this for two further rooms, jumping over the wall that you'll encounter. This meets the six room requirement, so now just let the time run through to 90 seconds, exploring further rooms if desired.

2. Knight Riding
Find a way to reach the bottom door before the werewolf's curse fades!

Here, you have a little under a minute to reach the lower exit to the room. Jump to the platforms to the lower-right of your starting point, then from here onto the floating block. You now need to guide this towards the exit door, which you can do by moving to the edge of the block in the direction that you want it to move. As you approach the exit platform, you'll need to jump to reach it.

3. Diamond Geezer
Prove you're a real treasure hunter by grabbing all three diamonds in 60 seconds.

This snapshot requires you to collect three diamonds as fast as possible, though there's no time limit. In your starting room, climb the blocks to the upper-left to reach the first crystal, then progress through the upper-right door to find the next crystal - you'll need to drop and jump on your first crystal in order to reach the required height to collect this (don't forget to return and collect the first crystal again!). Finally, go through the lower-right door to find the third crystal, but immediately exit and then re-enter this room. The crystal should drop from its starting platform, allowing you to collect it without any platforming required.

4. Chalice Challenge
Find a way to reach the chalice and drop it into the cauldron… in 300 seconds or less!

A chalice is located high up in your starting room, which you need to collect and then take to the cauldron, located two rooms to your lower-left. Reaching the chalice can be a little tricky, requiring precise jumps with the use of the boot item that you start the snapshot with to provide a height boost from which to jump between the columns in the starting room.

5. Cowards' Way Out
Make it through the spike-filled room… or chicken out and find another route.

There are two ways to complete this snapshot - one quick but requiring some very precise jumps, the other lengthy but more forgiving (though with more hazards overall). The quick method requires some very precise jumping over the spikes that little your starting room, landing in the single tile between them. This may seem impossible, but with practice it's certainly do-able. Alternatively, leave your starting room through the lower-left exit and proceed clockwise - you'll eventually reach the same point as you would by jumping the first room's spikes.

The guide below can assist you with the best methods to completing this.
