Thanks for the video! On Snapshot five when I was lapping the green car for the first time I pressed the B button and made him crash into a bomb. That made it a little easier to win.

Great video, thanks for sharing. I thought 5 was impossible until I saw your video.... it took me about 25 minutes but I got it. Most important is small adjustments on the d-pad and you can blaze through, I caught 1st place on the back straight on lap 9 and put distance inn in the last 3 corners and won by 2 seconds. Insane.

ill start doing better then get stuck in a stupid pin ball effect where I'm bouncing of the walls trying to correct myself and lose a load of time.

If your stuck on #5, keep your cool and keep trying. It’s not as hard as it seems at first.

Some tips that might help. Use the dpad. Similar to the other older games, that helps. Also try and hit the green car with one of your 3 bombs when passing first round!
In addition here is where I aimed to pass people. If I was behind, restarted.
Blue: 2 and 7
Yellow: 3 and 8
Green: 4 and 9

You get this achievement for completing the 5 snapshots for RC Pro AM.
I found using the D-Pad instead of the thumb stick more precise for this game especially for the final snapshot.

Snapshot 1: Ammo Amass
Simply take your time and gather all the stars on your first lap, you should easily have enough time before the race ends.

Snapshot 2: 2500 point turn
You get points for just about anything you do. Stay with the other racers using items (by pressing b) and destroying them and you should get this with a few attempts.

Snapshot 3: Cruise Control 1
I found this to be the easiest, just try and keep towards the middle of the road.

Snapshot 4: Aim to Please
This can be a tricky one, i found the hardest thing was to win the race rather than landing the 5 missiles. You start the snapshot with a few missiles so slow down and try and get 2 or 3 done straight away. There is more missile ammo towards the end of the lap as stars on the ground. As soon as you get 5 done i recommend you keep your ammo for the last stretch and attempt to destroy your opponent vehicles right at the end to give yourself a better chance of winning.

Snapshot 5: Lap it Up
This is the hardest. The description is misleading, your are actually 2 laps down on your opponents and to complete this snapshot you need to overtake the racer in first place twice. As mentioned earlier i found using the D-Pad is vital for this track for the accuracy. The only other advice i can give is that you need to limit bashing into the side as this slows down your vehicle however you do not have to complete a flawless run.

For Snapshot 5 the description is correct, to be 1 lap down means you are over 1 lap behind the leader therefor overtaking them once will get you back on to the same lap and overtaking them again takes the lead

I highly recommend hitting the first place person when u pass him the first time. Helped me immensely.

Hitting the first car (always green I think) with a bomb will do the trick. :)

Snapshot 5 wasn't terrible. My only suggestion is try keeping hitting the walls to a minimum. That lost speed is key.

Rewind is cn_LT. I suggested to rubberband cn_RT, which is the acceleration, so you can focus on just steering. No need to get a numb finger because you have to hold a trigger for several minutes.

There simply just isnt enough time even if u r flawless. A cheating device is the key...for ppl i know anyway.

Using the D-pad definitely helped. Otherwise, staying off the walls is key.

I can vouch for the "tie down the trigger" method. I thought it would make me worse, as I like control of my car, but then I realized that once I could just focus my hands on the D-Pad, everything went so much more smoothly. I think you 100% HAVE to bomb the first place car to win, otherwise I couldn't get enough time in, and if you don't grab the "N" the first lap, restart. It makes a huge difference.

5 was the only one I didn't get first try blind. Just takes some tries (ended up <10, simply just try not to hit the wall and it's not so tight that you need to hit the green car to win and you don't need say 7 perfect laps, just good ones will do. This was the easiest group of snapshots for me anyway.

The only thing misleading about five is your description of it. To anyone who actually knows racing terminology what you said will confuse them. You are one lap down and have to pass the leader twice in order to be in first.

@Twobby Surely the point of solutions is to help people who aren't familiar with certain terminologies. I believe i make it pretty clear what you have to do.

With enough practice (~20mins) I passed 1st on the back straight and pulled away on the final corners... seems impossible until you start getting the track down. I didn't use any bomb site or anything and did it no problem (~30 mins max

Held down my RT button with one of my hair ties and beat #5 on my 3rd or 4th try after. Definitely do that with a hair tie or rubber band and just focus on steering.

Took TOO MANY tires to get the final snapshot. D-pad definitely was the way to go, but what a BITCH!

Snapshot #5: Rubberband cn_RT, focus on steering clean through the corners with the D-pad. Takes a couple of tries but it's not that hard.

Snapshot 4- Don't slow down to shoot people, the race is hard enough already, shoot them when they try to pass in front of you, more than likely, you will have plenty of opportunities to get 5 hits without risking slowing down in the beginning.

Snapshot 5- Pick up the letter "N" on the first lap, when you complete the words CHAMPION, the game rewards you with a permanent upgrade to your car.

Try to use the bomb to hit the green car, he will respawn immediately, so it doesn't slow him down very much, It will only give you a couple seconds, so don't sacrifice a couple seconds trying to hit him. try to get him, if you miss, keep flooring it.

Try not to hit the sides of the road and try not to take the corners wide. Cutting the inside of corners without hitting the wall will allow you to catch up the most quickly. I passed the green car for the second time in the S curve before the finish line on Lap 9 after about 50 varying failures ranging from "So F--king Close" to "Absolutely Pathetic".

Just keep trying, it's designed to make you want to give up. If you need inspiration, watch a video on youtube, I always find challenges easier when I see someone else do them.

The Fury I84I --- You can't use rewind cn_RT on Snapshots.

The snapshots provide 'bite-sized' challenge in a pre-defined scenario in the game, accessible via the snapshots section of the Rare Replay interface. You cannot use the rewind feature when attempting these.

There are five snapshots to complete, which are as follows:

1. Ammo Amass
Grab all 28 of the stars scattered around the track before the race ends!

Stars are the game's representation of ammunition pickups - but for this snapshot, you're simply interested in collecting all of the stars on the track, not their function. The snapshot has no requirement for your performance in the actual race, so you have plenty of time to collect all 28 stars, essentially just needing to complete a single lap (so that you can cover the full extent of the stars' locations) in the time that the other racers take to complete the entire course. Don't dawdle, but don't worry too much about speed - just focus on collecting all of the stars as you come across them in a single lap.

2. 2,500 Point Turn
Tussle with your rivals and score 25000 points in just 60 seconds.

Again this snapshot has no requirement for your performance in the race, so you can focus on points. Your quickest way to build up points at first is to use your stock of missiles to land shots on your opponente (remember that there's no need actually to overtake); once these are exhausted, just focus on collecting as many as possible of the pickups that you come across on the track.

3. Cruise Control 1
Put your foot down! Win the race with an average speed of 85mph or more.

Here's the first snapshot where speed and race performance is a priority, but the race is fortunately fairly straightforward. Your average speed is displayed on-screen and you need this to be above 85mph at the end of the race, while also coming in first (which you're likely to do if you meet the speed requirement). Maintaining a good speed will come from avoiding the puddles and, in particular, the oil slick at the fifth corner (a spin from which can lead to a crash), while also trying to hit the speed-boosting chevrons wherever possible. You can also use your missiles (you start with three) to help to pass the other racers, but their use is far from essential.

4. Aim to Please
Successfully land five missile shots on your rivals, then finish in first place.

This snapshot sees you racing in trucks, so overall speeds are - helpfully - fairly slow. At the start of the race, you're armed with three missiles, which you can use to get three quick hits on other racers. However, unfortunately you can't then assume first place and go from there, as before finishing the race you need to get a total of five missile hits on your opponents.

After using your first three missiles, look out for ammunition refills (appearing as stars) at the end of the first lap, as you'll need to collect these to give the missiles that you need to complete the snapshot. As soon as you have the ammunition, focus on getting the remaining hits that you need, then go all out for first place before the end of the race, which lasts for four laps. You can of course make use of more missiles to help you to pass the other racers, if you find that helpful.

5. Lap It Up
You're a lap down, but the race isn't over! Make up the distance and win the race.

This final snapshot is by far the hardest of the five. You're in a nine-lap race, but start off one lap down on your opponents - so while you have to complete nine laps, they'll finish after only eight. This isn't quite as hard as it sounds, as your car is significantly upgraded over those of your opponents, but you'll need to maintain a near-perfect performance to come in first by the end, minimizing how much you hit the course edges (and of course, avoiding crashes). This is really all about practice and course memorization - keep trying and you should be able to win eventually.

As you near the end of the race, this is a good time to make use of the three bombs that you start with, to ensure that once you pass each racer for the second time (pulling ahead of them overall), you minimize their chances of overtaking you again, especially once you reach first place.

As milestones to help you to keep track of how you're doing on an attempt, I'd suggest that as you should aim to be passing the third-place racer for the first time on the straight of your second lap, the second place racer by the end of your third and the leader during the course of the fourth. This should then put you in a good position to overtake each of them again and win the race by the time that you near the end of your nine laps. Good luck!
