The Market is an upgraded version of the Tradepost. Save often and reload if you don't get the spawns you want. Make sure that there's lost of wealth around to improve your spawn chance.
The Tradepost itself requires 30 wealth to be in use by the village and can spawn in any biome except the ocean although I had the most luck in deserts.
The Market requires 120 wealth to be in use and to have a neighboring village with 20 wealth in use. There are quite a few specializations that the market can have so see what you spawn and adjust as required. Some of them are based around desert animals, some of them depend on mineral deposits.
You can complete you market and earn the achievement after the era ended by selecting to continue playing.
