Stay After Class

Stay After Class

Used the TMD to revert 10 Chalkboards in single player campaign

How to unlock the Stay After Class achievement in Singularity - Definitive Guide

There are about 20 Chalkboards in the game. Obviously most are in offices and laboratories. Here's 3 good places to find some.

-When you first get the TMD in that little cave there are 3 boards.

-When the big monster smashes through the wall, don't head out, instead walk round the corner for a few more.

-On the last level with the bomb and your running through place with the massive 'Blue Swirly Thing' in the middle. There are about 5 as you head through this stage. They are the first boards that need aging instead of renewing.

These are only 3 places where a large gorup off boards appear, keep searching every room you can to find plenty more. I finished the game with 15.

The game can be a bit glitchy and not give you the achievement at 10 boards, but don't panic and keep going it will pop eventually.

Other notes from people who commented:
These can be gotten on Multiple Playthroughs (Thanks to TerryLudden)
You can age boards as well as make them 'younger' (Dom2096)
There are 20 boards ingame (Runch Optimus)

Just to add, you don't have to get them all in the same runthrough. Got the achievement after reverting my first chalkboard in Hard mode

Additionally, you don't just need to revert old chalkboards. The achievement only seems to care if you move it through time. I was in 1955 and "pushed" one forward in time when the cheevo popped for me.

For anyone wondering, don't worry if the game seems to miss a couple of your board reverts. I was following a guide, and I know for sure that the achievement didn't unlock until I reverted board #12. But the guide I saw says there are 20 total in the game, so don't panic if the game doesn't give you the achievement exactly at #10.

3. + 4. And a few rooms later, after the first elevator, while getting the passcode (direct after nr. 2).
5. + 6. After the second elevator.
7. After the third elevator, in the room where the augmentor and the passcode are located.
(I´m not sure to forgot 1 or 2 before , they´re also didn´t count for me, I was bugged)

Thanks fine. But it bugged for me. No worries, they´re min of 2 other chalkboards later on.
It counted just the first 8 (showed above in the videoguide).
But not the last 2 of them! I´ve changed them, but (saw it in the reviewlist) they didn´t count.

Two other chalkboardlocations later in the game are:
1. On the boat in a cabin after the blueprint location.
2. As you travel back in time to get the passcode, direct overhead the last alternative blueprint location.

Similar to the Pen Pal trophy, use the TMD Renew ability to restore the destroyed chalkboards throughout the game. You'll find the first one just outside the TMD storage vault to the left hand side. Target the chalkboard and a blue indicator will appear to the left of your crosshairs. Press to make the writing appear, though what it shows is usually far less revelatory than the previous trophy's temporal graffiti. Again, there are far more than 10 chalkboards in the game, so no need to worry.

There are certain chalkboards that can be reverted/aged during the game, and there are more than 10. Press on them to revert them. They are usually easy to spot. You can follow the guide HERE to make sure you get them.

Just like the Pen Pal trophy, it’s not difficult and you don’t need to bother with it too much. There are many more boards in the game than there are to find.

These boards will appear throughout the game, mainly in offices and workshops, they look like broken writing boards, like the ones you had at school.. Use your TMD recovery ability on them, click Apparently it also works in the opposite direction, i.e. if the board is intact, just break it with a button

You cannot get this achievement on the same board (alternating between hacking and restoring). You need exactly ten different boards. And yet...you will also encounter whole boards, they can be broken and this also counts towards the trophy. In other words, to get a trophy you need to perform any ten manipulations with the boards: on broken ones - restoration... on intact ones - hacking. Checked personally.
