You will encounter the first Knocker as you play through the story mode. After you have constructed your splatter sprayer for Simon, go through the Quarry to the goblin camp. Keep going past it into the large open area behind it and find the hole you can crawl through. Inside this short tunnel, spray the three fire salamanders on the ground (pick them up) and the first Knocker will come out of a hole in the wall. Talk to him with Simon and he'll turn your gobstones into explosive gobstones. The other side of this tunnel leads to the Quarry pond if you'd rather come here from that side.
You can't talk to the second Knocker until after completing Chapter 7, and you must do so with Simon. Enter the cellar on the side of the house and make your way all the way through the tunnel to the end. You'll find kind of a T-shaped room formed by the tunnel you came in from in the center, a blocked entrance to one side, and a hole you can crawl through to the other. There will be a cliff you can fall off of running down one side of this room and a raised area running down the other side. Kill the 3 red goblins in here, then look for a semi-concealed place to climb up to one side of the raised area. Look to the opposite side of the room, locate a purple crystal high up on the wall, and shoot it with a gobstone. The second Knocker will emerge from the hole in the wall next to you. Talk to him with Simon and he'll give you 50 or more gobstones and an achievement. I believe the hole in this room leads to the Deep Forest if you'd rather come from that direction.

There are two knockers in the game, and you must talk to them both with Simon. The first one is in the lower quarry at the far end of the goblin camp. There are three fire salamanders you have to put out and pocket.... once you do that will have the first knocker crawls out of a hole on the wall, you can now talk to him.
the second one is at the end of the caves you'll need to find him after the 7th chapter... you can use the path in the cellar in the cave you find a purple crystal hanging from the ceiling (stalactite) shoot your sling shot at it with a gobstone the knocker will come out and reward you with lots of gobstones (50+)
