How to unlock the You're So Fine You Blow My Mind achievement in State of Decay 2: Juggernaut Edition - Definitive Guide

UPDATE: The 26.1 hotfix addressed many issues that were making this achievement such a pain. It should be much easier, faster, and more reliable to unlock this now. It takes much less than the 20 hours it did when I unlocked it. Some people have unlocked it in as little as 5 in-game days.

This achievement takes at least 20 hours (12-14 in-game days) to get, excluding any failed runs, so be ready for a grind. I've played through it a couple different times now so I think I've got a good idea on what you need to do and what can go wrong.

Basically it comes down to one thing: Did Ray Santos spawn? If not, restart. There's a couple ways to tell pretty early on, and I'll note them later. There's also three different quest chains that are absolutely required to progress through: Meeting CLEO, The Wilkerson Reckoning, and The Santos Legacy. If you don't start The Santos Legacy, you will never get another Wilkerson quest (it dead-ends after you visit his destroyed house). I kept track of all missions that I believe are required as well as IzzBee's side missions because I wasn't sure if they're required or not (just do them since they're easy). The Creative Botanist quest line doesn't relate to the others in any way, so I don't think it's required at all, but you can do them if they pop up to kill time (I did them all just in case).

Basic Tips

- Start a new game on Green. I know you may be tempted to move an existing community over. Don't. The game is ridiculously easy on Green and you don't need the benefit of an existing team, and it's possible that this messes up how characters spawn.

- Don't bother picking a Leader. The only thing this does is trigger a bunch of missions that force you to the end of the game, so don't do it.

- Don't bother destroying plague hearts. Some people think it voids the achievement, but this isn't the case. There's one particular quest that requires you to destroy two plague hearts and if you've cleared the map, it can't trigger that quest, right? Kinda. It actually skips the quest entirely and gives you a unique radio conversation that thanks you for clearing out the plague hearts. The quests continue normally after that. I left the plague hearts alone because there's no need to destroy them. Just kill ones that are in your way. I still had two on the map when the achievement unlocked.

- Stay in the starter base until you have 6 people (recruit them ASAP) and 1750 Influence (sell tons of stuff to traders and only buy things you absolutely need), then move to the old Santos Farm in the center of the map. Not only is it a nice centralized location, there's 4 large slots which are extremely useful (since you need one for the Meeting CLEO quest. The actual "best" base sucks and is far away from everything.

- All quests and conversations trigger automatically (going to a specific place or talking to a specific person does not trigger missions) other than the very first quest. Feel free to explore, establish outposts, or just idle in your base while you wait for missions. I would suggest doing all side missions as soon as they pop up (or canceling them) to keep your mission log empty. There's a limit to how many missions you can have at once so if you have too many it won't trigger the ones you need.

- You can apparently have so many enclaves on the map at once that it can prohibit required enclaves from spawning. If you feel like you should be getting a quest (specifically from The Santos Legacy or The Wilkerson Reckoning), you can try eliminating an enclave from the map (killing them off is easiest). If you want to see if this is the issue before going on a murder spree, try using the radio to invite a new community to the map. If it fails, you have too many enclaves and you should eliminate some. Big thanks to qManballin for finding this!

SPOILERS HERE ON OUT

Below is a timeline of when quests pop up and what conversations are going on over the radio. You can use this to keep track of how things are progressing. You should be getting a required mission basically once a day. The missions are super straightforward so I'm not including a full walkthrough. I'm only going to list the name of the mission (underlined) and a brief description of what it involves (inside spoiler tags). I'll also include all relevant radio conversations (italics) so you can keep track if the quests are still progressing even if you haven't gotten a mission in a while.

Map of Trumbull Valley:

-Day 1-

Lilly calls Ray about the newcomers in the Valley

Head to the farthest point North (the East fork) to trigger the first quest chain:

Meeting CLEO: The Doctor is Calling

IzzBee's Mystery: Jurassic Junction

-Day 2-

The Wilkerson Reckoning: Homestead

Dr. Hoffman calls thanking you for the memory core

-Day 3-

Lilly calls Ray about a problem with a community
(If this doesn't happen within the first couple days restart since it means Ray did not spawn and he is REQUIRED for achievement)

Meeting CLEO: Critical Download

-Day 4-

IzzBee's Mystery: A Cryptic Signal

Lilly calls Ray to yell at him for a community leaving but he doesn't answer

Mickey Calls Lilly but she doesn't want to talk

CLEO broadcasts test results

Mickey calls Lilly again

-Day 5-

The Santos Legacy: All Good Things
(this is the start of Ray's quest line which is required for the achievement. If it doesn't trigger in a couple days it means Ray isn't on the map and you need to restart)

Chaves calls IzzBee about the codebook

CLEO says IzzBee is your new master

-Day 6-

IzzBee calls Chavez about the code book and he gives her a hint

Meeting CLEO: Signal Interference

-Day 7-

Nothing happened for me

-Day 8-

IzzBee's Mystery: Breaking the Code

CLEO asks Dr. Hoffman for something and Mickey tells them to get off the radio

-Day 9-

Lilly calls Ray about his condition

Meeting CLEO: The Haven Protocol

-Day 10-

Ray calls the Church of Ascension for help but they don't answer.

-Day 11-

The Santos Legacy: Going Home

The Wilkerson Reckoning: Buried Treasure
KEEP THE PHOTO AS IT IS REQUIRED FOR A MISSION TO TRIGGER

Lilly calls Ray about moving to the church

-Day 12-

They Wilkerson Reckoning: Memories

Lilly calls Mickey to thank him

Lilly calls Ray about church door

-Day 13-

The Santos Legacy: Second Chances

-Day 14-

The Wilkerson Reckoning: A new Coalition

The achievement unlocks when you turn in the mission and Ray and Mickey start talking.

Hope this helps!

Okay, so I got stuck as well. Basically what happened is when Mickey told me to go loot 2 stashes, the first one I looted had the photo in it so the 2nd one disappeared. I also had a leader promoted and killed all the plague hearts. I was gonna start over but I did a few things and it happened to get the missions started again.

1.) I watched this video and went and looted all of the Wilkerson stashes. Not the weapon cases, just all the stashes. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iwsJFg0MR7U
2.) I demoted my leader.
3.) I killed a few enclaves from the map just in case Mickey needed room to spawn as suggested in a reddit post, though UL said they fixed that.
4.) This is gonna sound crazy, but after doing all of that and sitting in my base for 2 hrs, nothing was happening... So I shut the game off for a while and came back and instantly upon starting the game the Memories mission popped up and things started rolling again.

However... I didn't get the achievement even after Mickey joined Ray's Enclave after the final mission. Not sure what happened. Do as everyone else says and don't promote a leader / don't kill all the plague hearts. Pretty sure I screwed something up by one of the missions not actually activating since all the hearts were dead and they only thanked me for my efforts instead of giving me a mission. Wish I'd have read the guide first. Frustrating to do all the work and not get it done.

The first Santos mission started for me on day 8. I ran into no bugs, after the patch, and the advice I want to add is to be patient.

I was in doubt to start with a new community after day 5, where it really turned into a waiting game. Between day 5 and 8 there weren't any story mission for me, except for a little radio chatter. After Santos spawned it went back to 1 a 2 story missions a day. I got the achievement on day 11.

Notable things I did up to day 5.
-Finished the Cleo missions.
-Finished the IzzBee missions.
-Finished the Botanical Researcher missions.
-Finished the Wilkerson missions up to Homestead.
-Cleared all Plague hearts (After the kill Plague hearts mission).
-Kept infected buildings to a minimum.
-Didn't promote a hero to leader.
-Went full Negan on many enclaves (Kept an average of 8 enclaves on the map).
-Played on Green and looted the majority of the map.

I'll be trying this soon as I just finished a Trumbull run and got nothing from it. My game even crashed as the screen faded out and I can't find the community members in my survivor list :/

From what I can remember I:
Cleared the church for Ray;
Searched the Ruined Wilkerson house;
Got medicine for someone;
Acquired CLEO;
I probably sold any spare items that might have been mission specific and may have recruited who I sold it to because they have a useless bonus (e.g. "assault plague heart", I had no plague hearts);
Had a leader + no plague hearts;

I'll be sure to take my time in my next run. I was set up in the small Red Talon base for a bit but got impatient with the whole repair facilities thing. I realise now it probably required me to complete some of the story missions to progress it...
The big base in the south wasn't too bad for me, sure it limits you to only a few slots if you're going for / want to use CLEO, but on Dread difficulty, if everyone has grenade launchers barely anything gets in, except ferals (I did duplicate mine though, but it cost 1 improvised suppressor per launcher so it's not like I didn't get them for nothing).

Great guide!
One thing I'd like to note is if you're already deep in a map, you can change the difficulty to maintain your quest progress & give Ray another chance to spawn.

tupacaveli2, Lilly call you? did you do IzzBee's mission? what is happening to me is that I did the first 2 missions with Wilkerson and now it has stopped. I have changed the difficulty 2 times and am on day 3.

ox BlackJack xo, I do not reccomend switching difficulties to try to spawn Ray. I tried this multiple times and it only ever spawned the same people with the same quest progress. I had to delete the community and start from scratch to get an actual "fresh" map.

Tupacaveli2, that's interesting. In my runs if Ray didn't spawn around the correct time (give or take a couple days) he did not ever spawn. I let the game run all the way to Day 16 in one case and he still didn't spawn. Honestly these weird npc rules are starting to feel less like RNG and more like bugs.

Anybody know the name of the photo that triggers the Wilkerson mission?

Nevermind. For some reason I thought I gave up the photo until I saw a YouTube video. I know have it in my inventory hoping that Memories quest will pop up.

I just unlocked this. Here is what I did;
I play this on my laptop. I did use my old survivors to start green difficulty map. As soon as I start, I heard Lily talking about Ray in the radio.
I forgot to go Northenside of the map so I did not do any Mickelson or Izbee task for 4 days. Instead, I did 2 of Ray missions during these 4 days. After that I just idled , waiting for other missions to pop. I did not let any other missions to appear on my mission log. I went the required locations and cancelled them. I did not let any enclaves to exist in the map so that cant send me any tasks. I did not let any infestations to exist in the map. I did not destroy all pleague hearts. I did not choose a leader. I did not quit the game after the CLEO drop mission. I read this somewhere here that it might cause a loop.

So, doing all these I unclosed the achivement in 9 days. As I said, in 4 days, I did not go north. Only did 2 Ray missions. As soon as I went north, all other missions started to come fast, like 1-2 in a day.

Hope this helps. Good luck.

qManballin that is super interesting. I've personally never even come close to having too many enclaves on the map (they always seem to peeter out around 5 at most) but that makes total sense. I'll add that to the solution.

I left a game after day 16. 4 straight in-game days and can’t get The Santos Legacy: Second Chances to start. I got the loop like everyone else and removed all the friendly enclaves but nothing.

Started a new game and I’m on day 4 with little to no talking over the radio after day 2.

tonyy35, just put it in your storage. You'll randomly get the next mission as long as you still have the photo in either storage or in your inventory.

I’m on day 16 and still haven’t had Ray trigger Going Home.
Had the supply drop mission twice before I had to log off.
Now I’ve done it 5 times, I’ve kept my allies to a minimum but can’t get rid of two communities. One cold and one neutral, I don’t even have an option to threaten them.

By Assassin Bean on 15 Sep 2021 06:01
Yeah, had the radio call like two days prior.
Since then silence from Ray.

Managed to eventually get Ray to start the mission. Did the trick for leaving the supply drops on the map. Still took an extra 3/4 days for Ray to do anything.

Finally managed to get the final few missions around days 21/23.
Combo’d the leaving one item in the izzbee supply drops and clearing them to try again.
Leave one item in the drop for around 1-2 in game days if nothing happens collect it and wait for Izzbee again.

On my second try. Finished the Cleo/izbee stuff (I have the Haven device built) and did up to and including the junkyard quest for Ray. I picked up the photo outside of any mission to trigger the next Mickey mission (I had done the mission to take him to his house already). I have heard all the radio chatter in this guide. I'm waiting for the final mission with Mickey/Ray but I think maybe getting the photo outside of a mission broke it.

I also get the Cleo drop mission on repeat - I do the trick with leaving a drop with an item in it to stop it.

NeM2K, I have heard that picking up the photo outside of the mission can bug that quest but have not confirmed it myself. Did you get the Mickey quest Memories where you obtain some stuff and deliver it along with the photo?

funenergizer, do you remember what Ray's call was about? The IzzBee mission shouldn't impact the Ray/Mickey stuff at this point. If it annoys you just leave the CLEO drops on the ground so it doesn't repeat.

I had a the missions stop right after finding the photograph for Mickey. He never called to ask me to meet him at the bar. Second attempt, I did NOT promote a leader and did NOT clear all plague-hearts. If anyone else should have this same issue, maybe try going to the bar just north-west of the church and see if Micky is there.

I have been playing with the new update for a bit today and not getting the loop but also not getting the missions.

Spoke too soon. After about 2 in-game days, the santos legacy: Second chances finally popped up.

Update again, after completing the mission, I walked my dogs and got the last Wilkerson mission while away. DLC completed. Didn’t get another loop mission.

New update made story missions much more frequent. Got this achievement after 7 in-game days. You do need to reload the map for this to take effect.

I don't know if they updated something or what but I unlocked this just as my game was rolling over into the fifth day. I did prioritize doing the quests listed in this guide as soon as they popped up. I also read about the game potentially glitching out with too many enclaves. So I just got several of them to allied and recruited one member from each of them to disperse the enclave.

Anyway I did restart one time. I had a quest to do with Micky early on and I quite out and loaded it up later. The quest was gone and did not come back (nor did any others) for about half an hour. So since I was so close to the beginning I just started over. It took me a few attempts for Ray to spawn again.

After the update, I went back to day 2 save. 4 of the hearts were clear, and I was in the farmhouse in the middle. I did not appoint a leader. I did side missions with the botanist and others.

I went to the north to start the first mission. After that, the missions came along pretty regularly. I got all the loot drops, but I didn't stop playing after that until I finished.

The script pretty much followed the above, but the achievement popped right as I finished the last mission at the very beginning of day 8. Buried Treasure went directly into Memories, and there wasn't really a break in the musings.

That's just my experience. Looks like they definitely changed something in the last update

Cheers! toast

Assassin Bean, i tried first this with my existing group of 10. First try, to much enclaves, 8, than play around to the Izbee drop mission, repeating...but i become a mission to search for a person, that was the call in. After this, he sit on the mediccenter left on the street, not far away from the Izbee drop mission...nothing happens after this, 3-5 days. So, second play with another existing group, i miss the first tressie mission, for heading the first cleo mission, i dont know it was bad. Now, the Izbee drop mission cleared, and never pop up. What i think, i had only the problem with the photo mission or cant find it. After this i will play some days. Nothing happened, i will restart with a new group. This is my last achievement...

Im just commenting to tell my experiences, I used an existing community, only killed plague hearts when required (ie an outpost was needed or for a mission (izbee)). moved straight away into farm base - missions started slow but as Marshall, tressie mission started and same when headed to north east with the cleo missions. Missions started slowly but eventually last 4 missions (2 ray and 2 wilkersons were very quick). I avoided picking up the stash loot early.

Thats just my experience - i took my time not rushing, everything came as listed but not in the same order.

I used an existing community and Ray never spawned, so that was 6 in game days wasted. So I started a new community and followed the guide pretty much verbatim. DO NOT RUSH the sequences. When I had to go to Mickey's house, just let the dialogue play out. I rushed into the house and opened all the items and I was never able to search for Mickey to continue dialogue. So I had to quit out and restart and play back through a day to replay that sequence.

One thing to note was that my sequences all happened within 10 days when the cheevo popped after Ray and Mickey's conversation.

I've completed the Wilkerson Reckoning: Buried Treasure but it's been days and I haven't gotten the Wilkerson Reckoning: Memories quest. My character has the family photo in their inventory and it has the exclamation point on it, like it's needed for a quest. But again, no actual quest. Wondering if something is bugged.

Okay, so update as I just got the achievement. This might help someone. After days of nothing I moved my home from Fort Marshall to the farm. Spent some time re-upgrading the base in hopes of getting something over the radio. Eventually just quit and later logged back on it. Almost immediately got the call for the Wilkerson Reckoning: Memories quest and got all the remaining missions after that.

Some background on my map: no plague hearts remaining and I had elected a leader. I am up to or at least close to the final leader mission as well.

Okay. I read what assasin bean said. That's almost alright. Expect you dont need that much time. Even half of that time. I followed his "tutorial". I mean i went to north east and started chain quest. Then just after every mission or even radio call i exited game to main menu and went back to game. Thanks to this after every reload i waited like 2-3 minutes and then next mission/radio call was going on.

Just do mission/wait for call. Reload game. Wait 2-3 mins. Do again etc.

Edit1: If you didn't have Ray's mission you can still have it. You need just to wait. Unluckily it can take a lot of time. It took me like 1 hour afk to get his mission.
Edit2: You need to wait afk for like an hour for every mission with Ray :(

Turns out this is still glitched as I've been idling IDK how many hours for 2 IRL days now, yet the second to last mission just doesn't want to come up.

Scratch that, found a person who gave me the letter/ map, can confirm you can then use this in your playthrough when you get the mission to activate again :)

I've been stuck in my current game with no updates ever since completing the part where you escort Ray to the church. I've done this mission successfully and now have Ray as an enclave at the church and have gotten dialogue a few times over the radio, but no new missions for many days. I haven't misses a single mission that has popped up. I'm currently on I think day 20 and still haven't gotten anything. Guess I may be screwed on this save for some reason?

@CReaper210 Yeah something probably glitched, I was done by day 5. I had to do 3 runs to get the missions to flow the way they're supposed to. You're not alone. This game would have taken me like 100 less hours to finish if it worked properly.

all the missions were good, one was coming after another one but after I get the photo all the missions stop, I have three days already waiting

This was bugged for me for days on end. Taking advice from the Reddit thread, I threatened the only Friendly (Not Allied) Enclave. Once they decided to turn hostile, I took out all three survivors. Not even a minute later, Lily called about Mickey. If you're having trouble with the final mission triggering, take out one of your communities. This means Mickey can take their place on the map.

I don’t get this. It says the achievement is done outside of Heartland and I think I got a corresponding mission to spawn in the regular campaign called Meeting Cleo, but now that I rerun the Trumbull Valley map I can’t get it to trigger again. And this guide mentions Ray Santos who I believe is Heartland exclusive. Please help me figure this out.

I threw away the photo and didn't complete "The Santos Legacy: Second Chances".
Still unlocked after finishing the Day 14 quest. (Which I completed on Day 11.)

Either I got very lucky or I'm not quite sure why this achievement has such a high ratio.

This is the better guide out of the three for this achievement, no disrespect to the other guides as they are great. But this one shows the radio dialogue you need to be getting, followed by the missions. although i do not agree with the not having to go to a specific place to trigger certain missions & radio dialogue.
i was actually half way through creating a similar guide myself before this one was posted. If assassin bean doesnt mind me posting, ill be happy to post, if it helps others out. But i see it more as my story and how i got the achievement, then a guide. Because the radio chat and missions came in a different order for me

Got it. Day 19. Here are some things I came across.

I didn't get the radio call to search for Ray until day 4 or 5. I was looting a home, when the radio call came in and incidentally, I was in the middle of looting the very house to search the letter. When I found it and was directed to find Ray, I realized I had came across him and his tent on Day 2. I just didn't realize it was Ray and had waited 2-3 days for the radio call to come in to give him the letter.

Days 1-13 were slooooooow with the story progression. This guide said location doesn't trigger storyline progression, but I was taking care of an infestation way up north where Hoffman and the crew were at, and I got a radio call to to drop by their area. Maybe progression is random, but I can't tell if that's factual. Seems.....weird.

Once Day 14 came around, the story progressed rapidly. I made notes of which of the mission names popped up (which is greatly appreciated, TC!) and marked them off yesterday and today. I didn't get CLEO: Breaking the Code or Wilkerson: Memories. Last three were Santos: Second Chance, CLEO: Haven Protocol, and Wilderson: New Coalition. Was waiting for Breaking the Code or Memories to trigger and to my surprise, New Coalition came up. Did the thing, got the achievement. Took two whole days, but got it done.

And for what it's worth, I went 2-3 days without a leader, but caved and promoted on. Daddy wants his sniper tower! Had an existing community of......maybe 4 or 5 and moved them to Trumbell from another map. Automatically placed me in Checkpoint Delta. Moved to the Farmland Compound, like everybody does around Day 5. Destroyed about 3 plague hearts before getting the mission to destroy two to clear up CLEO frequencies. Did my best to keep external goals out of the way, either by completing or declining them. Had 8 members when all was said and done.

That might be everything worth noting from my experience.

Was stuck on CLEO drop infinite loop but was able to do EVERY mission until the last one utilizing all the tricks to stop the CLEO drop mission from popping up. Even when I left the drops full or partially opened, no new mission started popping up after 10 minutes or an hour or 2. Then I stumbled upon this reddit thread and thus was my solution. Stupid neutral/cold/hostile enclaves. Got rid of 3 of them and the final mission popped up immediately. Good riddance.

Did you get the Mickey quest Memories where you obtain some stuff and deliver it along with the photo?
I got the Memories quest right after picking up the photo. I did not get the Buried Treasure one though - my previous Mickey one was Homestead.

I'm switching back and forward between my first and second saves for now. My first save I don't have the Haven device yet but have Ray at the church and have done Homestead for Mickey. I'm getting the radio chatter as expected (I started getting a lot again after moving from the Talon Base to the Farm) but no new missions yet. I'm not going to get the photo until I get Buried Treasure this time.

EDIT: update 26.1 dropped today which fixed some things related to these missions so hopefully that will help everyone.

EDIT 2: Got the cheevo on my first save. I recommend not picking up the photo before you get the Buried Treasure mission.

Like many of you I had a lot of trouble unlocking this. I just got it, going from my own experiences and this solution, which does a great job of detailing the radio calls.

Nightmare difficulty with survivors from a previous playthrough.
Avoided Marshall like the plague (have not triggered the Hoarta missionline yet).
Got Santos to the church before triggering teh IzzBee/Cleo missionline.
Had to quit to the desktop twice mid IzzBee mission because I got shredded by Juggernaut/hordes while salvaging the Cleo core and retrieving the Cleo/Red Talon drops.

For me I did all of the above, even deleting allied camps with no luck, I saw no movement so I decided to go and destroy 1 plague heart out of boredom and the second it was killed the missions started again, I deleted the save and did it again just to be sure and same thing so if you're unlucky like me and see no movement after trying all the tips provided including removing allied camps, try killing a plague heart. The 1 I killed is located towards the bottom of the map.
Note: without spoiling

.

I'm well beyond the izbee mission that requires you to do this.

I want to add my personal experience in order to help and get helped: I'm working on this cheevo, I got the dialogues between Lilly and Ray but still no Santos mission as appeared (I'm on day 4) ..... BUT .... I was stuck on doing only secondary mission for enclaves, when I decided to learn some computer skills to upgrade my command center; exactly ONE second after I read a computer book I receveid the radio call to install the CLEO facility as main storyline mission. So my question is: it is possible that for some mission to trigger you are supposed to have some survivors with specific skills?

This is my story & progression of this achievement. I hope people find it useful guide to follow in the steps required for the achievement. (Not sure the Tressie missions are required)
Side notes:-
• I started a new community in the green zone, cleared out any infestations that came on the map, never promoted a leader, and only cleared plague hearts when there was a mission to. Whether or not these things affected radio chatter speed up or glitches the achievement, I am unsure.
• Work on getting 6 community members to move out to the farm base in the centre of the map (Large outdoor space needed for the IzzBee mission Meeting CLEO: The Haven Protocol to install the haven protocol).
• Completing/Cancelling missions/exiting & re-joining games seemed to speed radio communications up (third option not recommend after the final IzzBee mission, as this creates a loop of the mission every time you join game).
• Bullet points represent radio communication, sat in said locations over period of time with little movement every now and then (out of vehicle) which I believe triggers certain radio chatter dialogues.
• 1 day in game equates to 1hour30mins.
Radio Communications started for me when I idled in this location (https://ibb.co/F7m2XS3) on two different communities to get the Roy Santos/Lily Ritter & Tressie Huerta radio dialogue.
[DAY1]
 Ray Santos contacts Lily Ritter about new peopling settling in Trumbull valley.
 Tressie Huerta contacts about a project that’s she’s working on.
 Lilly Ritter contacting about Ray Santos is the man to help anyone.
 Lilly Ritter Contacts Ray Santos about communities needing help.
 Lilly Ritter trying to contact Ray Santos about a community leaving valley.
 Lily Ritter worried about Ray Santos because he’s not answering radio.
Mission 1 – The Santos Legacy: All Good Things
[DAY2]
 Lily Ritter contacts Ray Santos concerned & angry he didn’t respond to her in previous radio chat.
 Ray Santos reaching out about the church of ascension.
Mission 2 – The Santos Legacy: Going home
I believe Ray Santos mission line ends here. After this I headed south to Marshall to trigger the Tressie Huerta missions. Once Tressie Huerta first mission is complete I headed to the barn (here https://ibb.co/F7m2XS3 just south of starting base & left of the scouting post is where I idled to get the radio chat with Tressie Huerta).
Mission 3 – Tressie’s Quest: A Call for help
[DAY3]
 Tressie Huerta contacts introducing herself to Trumbull Valley communities.
Mission 4 – Tressie’s Quest: Barn Storming
 Lily Ritter contacts about adding another sleeping area.
[DAY4]
 Lily Ritter contacts Ray Santos about moving back to their old place the church.
 Tressie Huerta contacts about plague walls been harmful.
 Micky Wilkerson contact about some unwanted visitors (I headed north to South Lake Tanner to carry out a mission, triggering the Micky Wilkerson radio dialogue).
 Tressie Huerta contacts about plague hearts almost taking over the Valley.
 Micky Wilkerson contacts about trusting these people.
Mission 5 – Meeting CLEO: The doctor is calling
Mission 6 – The Wilkerson Reckoning: Homestead (At this point I stood around here https://ibb.co/SNRVQ6F idling getting more IzzBee & Micky Wilkerson radio chat)
Mission 7 – Izzbee’s Mystery: Jurassic Junction
 Doctor Hoffman contacts thanking for the memory core & some unusual radio chatter.
 Micky Wilkerson contacts Lily Ritter about talking to Santos.
Mission 8 – Tressie’s Quest: Data Gathering
 IzzBee contacts about picking up unusual radio noises.
 Doctor Hoffman contacts about connectivity test, CLEO please respond.
[DAY5]
 Micky Wilkerson contacts Lily Ritter asking to talk about old times.
 Chavez contacts IzzBee to talk.
Mission 9 – Meeting CLEO: Critical Download
[DAY6]
 Micky Wilkerson contacts Lily Ritter asking to talk about old times.
 Cleo comes on radio saying network failure, try again in 30 seconds.
Mission 10 – Izzebee’s Mystery: A Cryptic Signal
 Cleo comes on radio saying IzzBee is your new master
 Tressie Huerta contacts about been onto something & will be in contact.
Mission 11 – The Wilkerson Reckoning: Buried Treasure
Mission 12 - The Wilkerson Reckoning: Memories
 Cleo comes on radio about network failure.
Mission 13 – Meeting CLEO: Signal Interface
[DAY7]
Mission 14 – Tressie’s Quest: Throwing down the Gauntlet
 Cleo comes on radio say test complete.
 IzzBee contacts Chavez asking about a code & hint.
 Lily Ritter contacts Micky Wilkerson about some medicine & picture.
 Tressie Huerta contacts about some grass & weeds from the plague walls.
 Cleo contacts Dr. Hoffman about an enquiry.
[DAY8]
Mission 15 – Izzebee’s Mystery: Breaking the Code
 Tressie Huerta contacts helping out and will be in touch soon.
Mission 16 – Meeting CLEO: The Haven Protocol
Mission 17 – Tressie’s Quest: Special Delivery
 Lily Ritter contacts Micky Wilkerson about how things might have turned out different.
 Lily Ritter contacts Tressie Huerta about here new invention.
 IzzBee contacts about taking the haven device apart.
[DAY9] No radio or missions
[DAY10]
 Lily Ritter contacts Ray Santos about front door on church. (sat for like 2-3 hours with no story progress, soon as I took items out of CLEO drops, I got this radio dialogue, maybe a coincidence, I don’t know or maybe leaving items in CLEO drops glitches the story from progressing)
Mission 18 – The Santos Legacy: Second Chance
[DAY11] No radio or missions
[DAY12]
Mission 19 – The Wilkerson Reckoning: A New Coalition
This is my first ever true achievements guide, so please go easy on me in the comments, I have tried to make this guide (I Don’t see this as much as a guide but my story & how it played out, as it seems everyone’s is playing out differently. I do feel like the CLEO drop mission is having an effect on progress, because soon as I completed that mission things slowed down dramatically) as easy to understand & read as possible, but this is a very complexed achievement and seems to rely on some RNG mechanic.
That been said what inspired me to write this guide was the previous guides and comments, with a special thanks AleisterH, his comments and strategy has helped me the most and has been very helpful to progressing quicker, which I have added his strategy into this guide.

4/17/2022. After no success with this when it came out and even after patch I gave up. Coming back for another shot I literally did what was posted here and got things going after multiple restarts just doing whatever. I had did all the quest for Wilkerson, Hoffmann, Tressie and had the Cleo facility in my base. I did the memories quest with Wilkerson's photo and patched things up with Izzbee and the lone soldier. All by day 9. I then kid you not AFKd at the outposted barn posted in the guide and Ray spawned in the red house literally next to the outposted barn like 5-10 minutes after.

Great find guys!

Tressie missions are optional, got the chievo without doing any of them, and the first quest only activated because one of Ray's missions required going to Marshall

Updated 9/6/2021
added a video of the final mission
added more info

This is NOT a guide to guarantee you this achievement but my advises as well as info from others, hope this helps. This is my first time to write something like a guide but I will try my best. let me know in the comments for any corrections/improvements please.

Following Boss Complex's guide, I'd like to add some tips:

1, Start a new community instead of using any of your existing ones. Existing communities seem hinder several radio conversations for me, wasting 10+ in-game days.

2, If you don't get Lily talking about Ray on radio in THE FIRST 2 in-game days, restart the map. It's IMPORTANT to get this Ray character appear ASAP, as many of radio chats are required to get him appear.

3, Check the frequency of radio conversations, they should keep on talking consecutively once in a min or 2, if it starts to become quiet just quit and load the game. Having many infestations also seems slows the frequency, so destroying some should keep your progress back to normal. According to Fuzzmeister J, Changing bases also has possibilities to increase radio chat frequency.

4, Don't destroy unnecessary plague hearts, some missions need them to trigger. You can destroy 1 or 2 at the very beginning for outposts and relocation. Boss Complex said you eventually have to destroy all of them but by the time I unlocked this achievement, I had 4 remaining(played on Normal that has 10 from the beginning). Some missions seems can be skipped by wiping out all but you don't want to risk skipping them.

5,

Note: Based on the comments this walkaround works for some people but NOT everyone. If you cannot get it stop popping, honesty I think your save is surely glitched so you probably want to restart the map.

6,

7, DO NOT promote any leaders, but you can advance community members' missions. I have no proof but once a leader is promoted the game might limit this Trumbull Valley "side" story while pushing you towards the end like the main game.

The final Wilkerson mission looks like this: (if you want to take a look)

Good Luck!

This is not a definitive guide (yet) it is a work in progress.

Trumbull Valley Main Story Mission Related Achievement.

Achievement is possible buggy/glitchy for some people.

Note* Read Comments.

Personal experience:
#1. It took quite some time IRL for the missions to pop up. Will not be quick back to back missions.
#2. Some dialogue might need to trigger over the radio, BEFORE the next mission appears (some info about the stories progression, is said over radio, possible pre-requisite)
#3. Play on Green difficulty for an easier time.
#4. I recommend the farm base in the middle of the map, over the military base in marshall.
#5. It took me “12 days” in game to get and finish all the wilkerson quests.

I was doing all the side quests and main missions that involve, mickey izzbee and the doc, ray santos, chavez and “tris?”.

Build a self functioning base and then wait out missions or work towards other achievements.

Without Spoiling to much -

Side note: thru one if izzbees side quests you unlock Haven CLEO at your base. For 25 parts a day, it keeps your base siege free and kills zombies that wander on your base.

Tldr: this achievement is part of the main story of Trumbull Valley. However it takes a long time, due to long stretches of time in between missions.

***BUG SOLUTION***
I followed Assassin Bean's tips, and general mission lineup.

I kept doing the missions, and got to the mission "The Wilkerson Reckoning: Memories." I got to where you go into the shed, and I couldn't pick up the medicine, or anything in any crate for that matter, despite having plenty of space in my inventory. So, I restarted my game.

Now, when I get in, I can play for about 5 seconds before it crashes. I looked up if anyone else has had this problem, and it doesn't seem so. The solution is quite simple, but it took my an entire other playthrough of the Trumbull map, as well as lots of research to try and find a solution. I found it by testing a whim.

If you have this problem, all you have to do is not have the game create an online session. So boot up the game with Wi-Fi connection, turn it off, and then open your community. You only have to do this for this select mission, every other mission is fine. Hope this helps someone as unfortunate as me.
