How to unlock the Medals Get! achievement in STREET FIGHTER IV - Definitive Guide

You can get every medal in a player match, the only achievements needed to be on ranked are the 1, 3, 5, and 10 in a row won.

Win a round
(Self-explanatory)

Win a round with 81-100% vitality
Win a round with 61-80% vitality
Win a round with 41-60% vitality
Win a round with 21-40% vitality
Win a round with 11-20% vitality
Win a round with 0-10% vitality
(You may need some trial and error for percentages)

Win a round with Perfect
(self-explanatory)

Win a round with Chip Damage
(You CANNOT get this along with a perfect. Best strategy is to go into a player match with handicap, one person has all health, other has none, and the one with no health hits the other person, then blocks a Hadoken)

Win a round with an Ultra Combo Finish
Win a round with a Super Combo Finish
Win a round with a Regular Move
Win a round by Judgment (Time-out)
(Self-explanatory)

Escape a Throw/ Do a Quick Stand Move (most of the time this'll already be done by quick recovery, but try to time your grabs at the same time.)

Perform a Reversal
(Reversals are tricky, it would be if you counter with a move [such as a grab] while they are hitting, it is usually a move that can't be blocked.)

Perform a Counter-Hit
(I don't have any good examples, except using a Tatsumi Senpayaku (spelling?) while the opponent uses a Hadoken)
*[also you can break through a focus attack for a counter]

Perform a First Attack
(Self-explanatory)

Dizzied an opponent (Inevitable if you're getting a perfect while the opponent stands still.)

Go to the Medals page and see which ones you dont have, just highlight the ones that say zero and it will tell you how to get it. Go online and try to get it. This would probably be best done with a friend online because you can cooperate with one another to get the harder ones like getting a perfect game.

While playing Online on Street Fighter IV, you will notice that after each game you are presented with a screen filled with 'Medals' showing you how many of each Medal you have obtained in that match. Every Medal can be obtained in a Private Match, so set up a lobby and find a partner to obtain the following requirements:

Win a round
- Just winning a Round will unlock this, regardless of how you win.

Win a round with 81-100% vitality
- Set your Handicap to 4 Stars, giving you 100% health. Win the round.

Win a round with 61-80% vitality
- Set your Handicap to 3 Stars, giving you 75% health. Win the round.

Win a round with 41-60% vitality
- Set your Handicap to 2 Stars, giving you 50% health. Win the round.

Win a round with 21-40% vitality
- Set your Handicap to 2 Stars then have your Opponent hit you once with a Heavy Punch to knock you into the correct range, then win the round.

Win a round with 11-20% vitality
- Set your Handicap to 1 Star and have your Opponent hit you with one Heavy Punch to knock you into the correct range, then win the round.

Win a round with 0-10% vitality
- Set your Handicap to 0 Stars, which will leave you with almost no health. Win the round without getting hit.

Win a round with a Perfect
- Having 4 stars of Handicap will give you full health; win a game without getting hit to receive a perfect.

Win a round with Chip Damage
- Set your health to 3 Stars and your Opponents to 0. Have them walk backwards into the corner and attack them with any Special Move (Inputs can be found in the pause menu)

Win a round with an Ultra Combo Finish
- Pick Ryu with a 4 Star Handicap and have your Opponent with a 0 Star Handicap. Have them attack Ryu until he is able to use his Ultra, then input Two Quarter Circles Forward + Triple Punch (LB).

Win a round with a Super Combo Finish
- Pick Ryu with a 3 Star Handicap and have your Opponent with a 0 Star Handicap. Have them walk into the Corner and hold the Opposite direction so that they are Constantly blocking; use Forward + RB with Ryu until you gain a full Super Metre, then input Two Quarter Circles Forward + Light Punch (X).

Win a round with a Regular Move
- While going for any of the other Medals, make sure that at least one of your Victories is with a Regular Move (Not a Special Move).

Win a round by Judgment
- Start a 30 Second game, set your Handicap to 3 Stars and your Opponents to 2 Stars. Stand and wait for the timer to end and give you the victory.

Perform a Tech
- There are two ways to do this, you can either escape a throw or perform a Quickstand. The latter is a lot easier and can be done easily by getting your Opponent to knock you down, then repeatable press buttons to raise up quicker.

Perform a Reversal
- As soon as you get up, perform a special move. The best example of this would be Ryu; get your opponent to knock you down, then perform a Shoryuken just as you get up, which will cause you to perform the move a few frames earlier, and gain a Reversal.

Perform a Counter-Hit
- Easiest way to do this would be to get your Opponent to Charge their Focus Attack (Medium Punch + Medium Kick(Y+B)), and hit them twice very quickly, which will cancel the Attack and count as a Counter.

Dizzy an Opponent
- Start a game with your Opponents Handicap at 4 stars; play the game as Zangief and just use his Double Lariat Move (Triple Punch/ LB), after 4 or 5 hits, you will Dizzy the Opponent.
