How to unlock the With Xtreme Prejudice achievement in Super Dungeon Tactics - Definitive Guide

For this you only need to beat the last level. It will not be easy but it if you use a solid team and stick to a defense strategy, it's not too bad.

All difficulty achievements stack.

*I had a weird glitch that removed all my items after I beat the game on Xtreme so use a separate save slot for this*

General Tips:

The most useful character in the game is the Knight(red armor) with a Lance weapon. The reason for this is when you use a blue booster he gains 2 block to his already high armor so nothing gets through to his health. Also, he strikes back when he is attacked and it can reach pretty far. Put him front and center he can be a bit slow moving so movement boost helps a lot.

Bring all the rogues and archers and equip them with crossbows. The reason for this is they can attack enemy health and bypass armor. I would use 2 or 3 to move behind enemy lines(with a block power up) to surgically take out important enemies like casters and knights.

Use the Barbarian or Candy to back up the knight as the highest damage dealers, they have a second basic attack that does high damage at touch distance. Its best to give them a damage booster(yellow) or a block booster if you need them to hold the front line with the knight.

Choke points are your best friend. Put the Knight up front and the Heavy hitters behind or beside him.

You can use an item EVERY turn. AND if you use an item with character selected it does NOT start there turn. That being said, you should start every turn managing health and see if any characters need extra block boosts.

You can use items on allies by dragging the item to the character you wish. Even if that character has already had their turn.

You can attack before moving! This is very helpful for getting your weak archers away from danger as they have a long range already.

Set up your tokens (4th equipment slot) with blue boosters and shields(block boosters) on each character if you can. The more the better.

Take your time and think ahead.

Tips for level

My party was:
2 Knights w/ Lance
4 Archers w/ crossbow
2 Casters (wizard and sorceress)
Candy and Barbarian w/ sword

You have to divide your team at the start. For the smaller team go with:
Candy or Barbarian
Sorceress or Wizard
GREEN KNIGHT

Going into it I had a 5 item backpack. I chose to bring:
Large health
Small health
Soda drink health
Shields(block boost)
and the last spot should be a food item that would increase the stat that you're lacking. For me this was something that increased movement for the Knights to advance the line

Destroying the two spawers
Part one

Try not to waste all your health potions early on. I let one of the archers and the caster die. Save them for the second part with the witches

Have the knight advance up the right and use the archers to cover him from behind him. Don't advance archers unless they have a Block booster.

Have either Candy or the barbarian block the single path across the bridge at the bottom and have an archer across the water(parallel to the bridge) provide support.

As you advance north, keep the knight farthest ahead to absorb attacks.
use three archers to advance around the wall to hit the spawner (use block boosters to keep them safe behind enemy lines) then pull them back behind the knight who should be in towards the top middle(near the upper bridge to the other spawner)

Leave the other archer on the river bank to provide support to the sword user that should be advancing north towards the second spawner.

Once you've destroyed the first spawner, you should use the three archers attack BEFORE you start retreating back to the knight. By the time you get to him everyone should be ready to cross the bridge to the second spawner and rush it.

*You will need to send another character to help the other group, send an archer(not the green elf)*

Part two
Beating the witches

Keep everyone to the bottom left and play super defensive, they will all come to you in an orderly fashion.

Move the knight alone to the north the the smallest corridor between the big rock on the left and the river on the right. Use the sword person next to the knight to block the path(give them block booster)

Use archers from behind him and move them away after they've attacked when you can.
You can use the Green Archer to heal the front line people as needed(perk with a red booster)

Let the witches come to you and use the archers to keep the odd enemy away that is coming from the south.

Again play very defensively and let them come to you.

Part Three
Kobold attack

This is with the smaller group. Before starting, move all your characters to the right across the river as there is an alternate spawn point.

Put the Green Knight on the bridge blocking the only point across and move the rest of the people south of the bridge so enemies come south instead of crossing the bridge to the north.

You can funnel enemies onto the bridge where you will want the knight up front, the sword person behind him to hit the enemy in front of the knight, and the archer and caster on the bank hitting the odd target and creating fire on the opposite bank.

You will need to heal the knight a little since he doesn't get the block boost with a blue booster. Alternate between blue booster and block booster based on his health.

Part Four
Final Battle

This is actually quite an easy fight. There are only four enemies.

Try to keep your characters spaced apart with the kights and sword people up close and personal and keep your casters and archers spread out.

Focus attacks on one enemy at a time and make liberal use of items.

I did not lose any people during this final fight.

Once the fight is over you will need to move one character to the alter and click it.

There you go! Achievements Unlocked

Just wanted to add a note, too!

I really appreciate your mention of the glitch where your equipment disappeared.

I ran through the mission first on normal so I could get an idea of what to expect on Xtreme. I did so on another save file after reading your note, and I'm really glad I did. Even on normal I experienced the same glitch.

After the final battle any equipment that wasn't currently on my characters disappeared from my inventory. A bit of a bummer, but I'll just reload the earlier save for the next attempt.

Holy heck. That was a crazy series of fights. I appreciate the guidance you provided above, although in the end my team was a bit different. I ended up getting to the final battle with pretty much no items (other than some tomatoes) left and it ended up being just a slug-fest between my team and the golems. Made it out with 7 folks left standing though so all was well.

One note, I think you are missing a portion of this quest series as the first "phase" is actually a simple fight outside the tomb to remove a spawner and then kill some mini-bosses. It is after that that you need to split a person off and send them back, not after you destroy the two spawners in the next part.

Not a huge deal as it is a fairly simple section, but thought it was worth mentioning. Cheers.
