How to unlock the CEO achievement in Syndicate - Definitive Guide

This unlocks once you've done everything in Co-Op. Hit level 30, maxed out all researches, completed all challenges and done all the maps on all the difficulties.

Advice is the same as it was in Middle Management.

Leveling: Easy enough: Kill dudes. Headshots/Rampages reward more points, you get points for damage done even if you don't get the kill, Completing challenges gives you points, Completing contracts gives you points. Healing/Rebooting gives you points. Shielding with the Shield App gives you points when the shield breaks. Using Damage Link gives you points. Virtually every good thing you do gives you points.

Research: This is broken into two categories: Weapons and Applications.

For Weapons you get tokens to unlock research options whenever your team kills bosses. Once you get enough you can unlock a research option and then highlight it and press A. A spinning gear should now be present and all the points you get for killing dudes in your subsequent games will count as research for that upgrade.

For Applications the researching process is the same with only a few minor hiccups. The first being that you get tokens only from completing a level once on each difficulty. Complete Western Europe on Normal and you'll get tokens. Complete it again on Normal and you won't get any. Complete it on Hard and you'll get tokens. You also unlock new apps by playing each level at least once and you can only utilize the app upgrades once you've unlocked that tier with a chip upgrade you get from leveling.

Challenges: This are the long road.

-Total Kills (5000) - Doesn't need an explanation

-Spectre Kills (50) - These guys are invisible and you'll only see their shimmer, they carry little armor and are easily dispatched. Highest concentration of them is on Atlantic Accelerator.

-Electron Mace Kills (100) - These are Sergeants carrying Electron Maces. Easily spotted. Avoid them like the plague and shoot them from a distance. You first start seeing them in Colorado. Best to farm on China with Riot Shields at the same time. Refer to Riot Shield Kills.

-Riotlance Kills (100) - Little bit harder to see than the Electron Mace since they don't spew lightning like a thunderhead but look for the whispy blue trails they leave behind as they fire, on higher difficulties these will paralyze you. Commonly used by the Police starting on China.

-Riot Shield Kills (100) - In China and Scandinavia you'll find Police with big impenetrable shields. Credit to notPoison: If you've upgraded your Kusangi assault rifle and/or sniper rifle to penetrate light cover just aim for heads and fire away. Scandinavia has a significant number of them. Scandinavia has lots of Riot Shields but the best place to farm is going to be in China as you're going to need to farm Electron Mace kills as well.

-ECM Kills (50) - These are Sergeants who wear backpacks and block you're ability to Breach or use Apps. You'll know when one is near when you're HUD gets fuzzy and you'll know which one it is by the green aura they give off. Appear infrequently on Normal Argentina and New England and regularly on Hard. Best to farm with Electric Armors on Argentina on Hard. Refer to Electric Armors in this guide.

-Aspari Kills (1000) - Most if not all of the enemies you encounter in Colorado, China and Scandinavia.

-Eurocorp Kills (1000) - Most if not all of the enemies you encounter in Northern Territories, Argentina and New England.

-Cayman Global Kills (1000) - Most if not all of the enemies you encounter in Western Europe, Mozambique and Atlantic Accelerator.

-Police Kills (100) - You'll find them on China and Scandinavia. Easily spottable by their Riot Shields and bug eye helmets. Also easily obtainable.

-Mercenary Kills (20) - You won't see Mercenaries at all until Expert. Even then I only encountered them in the first area of Western Europe after taking too long to progress through the first area. To get them to spawn on a somewhat reliable basis start a private match then progress through the level, they should drop down out of the drop ship to the left of the big door after you kill the last enemy and disable the turret. It'll be eight Sergeants and a Reactive. If they don't spawn nearly right away, then won't at all. Checkpoint and retry.

-Liquid Armor Kills (50) - These gradually get replaced with Reactives as you progress through the maps and increase the difficulty. Colorado, China and Scandinavia seem to have the most.

-Electric Armor Kills (50) - Only appear starting at Northern Territories onward. They appear infrequently on Normal and regularly on Hard. Best bet is to play Argentina you can solo the level on Hard if you play conservatively and with the CQC Pulse and Reboot. There will be two Electrics on the level before the boss fight and plenty of chances for ECMs which you most likely will need to farm as well. Two birds with one stone.

-Reactive Armor Kills (50) - Easily spottable and killable since they are fat and slow moving. More frequent on Expert and Colorado and Argentina has the most.

-Agent Kills (20) - You'll first find Agents as a group at the end of Atlantic Accelerator, you'll see them again as a group in Scandinavia. You'll fight two in Argentina and another group of four in New England. There is one Agent in the sewers of China. Unlike with the Armors only the player that Chiprips or Detonates them will get credit.

-Kills by Fire (100) - The Thermite Gun, Laser and secondary fire on the Shotgun all count towards this.

Gibbed Enemies (500) - You can gib enemies by headshotting them with the Shotgun, Sniper, six round revolver, hand grenade, Minigun (headshot or saw them in half), Rocket launcher, Swarm launcher, heavy Shotgun or with a headshot with the Gauss.

-Executions (500) - You get an execution by running up to an enemy and pressing RStick. You'll perform a first person take down. The chip upgrade so that each one heals you makes this much easier. Seemingly Chiprips also count since I earned progress for Make It Snappy mostly through chiprips.

-Heals (500) - Heal your teamates. It doesn't need to be a direct breach heal as using Squad Heal or C2C Pulse will work too. Any amount of health healed counts as one.

-Reboots (200) - Reboot your downed teamate. You have to be within the orange circle to start. Too boost it's a simple matter of standing out in the open, going down and being nearby in cover to Reboot them.

-Savior (50) - This is awarded when you save a teamate from an Electron Mace or heal them when their health bar is flashing red.

-Team Savior (50) - This is awarded when you are the last man standing and reboot a fellow teamate.

-Syndicate Heals (500) - Same as heals only with a fellow Syndicate member.

-Syndicate Saviors (50) - Same as Saviors only with a fellow Syndicate member.

-Syndicate Reboots (200) - Same as Reboots only with a fellow Syndicate member.

Levels: You get stars for completing each level on each difficulty. One star for each level on each difficulty. Before trying Hard or Expert make sure you are upgraded enough. You'll know when you're current difficulty becomes too easy.

Note on riot shield guys; you can just shoot through the shields with the ACR-10 or sniper rifle. Might need the penetration upgrade researched, but I don't know.

To get all the stars you have to do all the difficulties. One star is awarded for each level on each difficulty.

Not sure if this has happened to anyone else, but the game bugged out on me during my progression through the co-op and shorted me 4 application tokens...meaning I can't complete my research...meaning I can't complete this acheivement. As an extra kick in the ass, my friends somehow came up with extra application tokens. Should starbreeze patch the game and fix this bug I'll post here, but it's definitely something to watch for.

A tip for anyone losing application tokens, please pass this around to anyone who has the same problem, took me a while to figure out what was going on here..

Go into loadouts, change your loadout to another loadout, change your main weapon, press B to return to your stats page and it will ask you to save your loadout, do so. Boom. your app tokens have re-appeared.

Obviously this will only work if you've had ones that have vanished.

Thanks Flaming Frost. I came to these comments looking for a way to quickly get the electirc armor kills as i'm only on 13 at the moment.

Also Methew, you say that you have to do all the difficulties but I have 3 stars and I know I haven't done hard on some of the levels but I've been given 3 stars for all of the levels. So are they stackable or do I need to go back and complete the levels on Hard too? (I've already done them all on both normal and expert)

By Ali060 on 21 Jun 2012 12:37
Nah, they are stackable, if you do it on Expert first time you'll get three stars for the level.

Thanks Flaming Frost for the electric armour tip, hardest challenge by far but easily done at the start of new england like you said. At least with mercs they're easy to kill, only 20 and they show up every time on the western europe if you do it right.

Electric Armour and ECM kills are possible on normal as that's the only difficulty I've played so far and have made progress on both challenges.

They might not be very common as I only got a couple of each but they can be found. However, as you shave to complete all maps on expert anyway it is largely irrelevant. If someone is close and struggling on expert though it may be enough to finish off that challenge.

Just so you know, Mercs show up readily on Colorado (on hard) as well during the last bit (transporting the hardware from the 3rd floor to the chopper). If you wipe out all the enemies that come out onto the landing pad, eventually a drop ship will come in and throw out some more guys, and sometimes a reactive or two. Wipe these guys out, wait a few minutes and Mercs will drop in on the 2nd floor landing pad where you had to deactivate a turret.

Also, if anyone wants electric kills, Argentina on hard is crawling with them.

By a Fi1thy Casual on 14 Sep 2012 21:33
Whilst that's just another point where this solution is inaccurate it is still probably easier and quicker to farm the Merc kills on Western Europe since you can remain in cover the entire time (also picking up penetration kills) and only have to face a few enemies at once rather than having to play through an entire map. Since that's the end of the level you'll also need to paly the entire level every time rather than just hitting a checkpoint and restarting.

Never saw any Mercenary units while playing through on Hard. Never heard of them spawning on Hard either, especially on Colorado, and I had a devil of a time on Colorado first time through on Hard (noob teamates don't know how to deal with Electron Maces and kept quitting out, making the level take ages.)

"Never heard of them spawning on Hard either, especially on Colorado, and I had a devil of a time on Colorado first time through on Hard"

And that is why I typically only play co-op games with people I know. My bud and I ran through all these co-op missions on expert and cleaned up this achievement in no time.

And, just so you know, Colorado is an excellent place to farm Savior and Team Savior with all the electron mace guys running around (not to mention the easy merc kills you can get sniping from the 3rd helipad).

I have now done Northern Territories 3 times on Expert and it does not register as completed. Only showing 2 stars. I got the achievement for completing all maps on expert, bit it keeps saying 26/27 stars. Will this glitch me out of my CEO? Love the game, but I'll be gutted if this is the case.

I'm going to echo what Flaming Frost said about getting Electric Kills on New England. It takes about 10 minutes to solo through the first two sections. I was spec'd out with the Sniper Rifle, C2C Pulse, and Reboot (all fully upgraded). It really helps if you pick up a shotgun as quickly as possible, too, so you can take them out by either short or long range.

Played New England (on normal) for the first time tonight and I didn’t get any app tokens in the mission summary. Went to check my map stars and I have two stars filled, despite only having played the mission once.

Pretty sure I’m fucked.

By CatTully on 26 May 2023 03:15
@CatTully if you’re lucky enough I’ve noticed there’s a map glitch w/ Mozambique where you’ll complete the level and get rewarded app tokens but the stars don’t get rewarded. Thus, you are able to get a second set of tokens for completing the level again. If you can get this to glitch then you’ll be set straight again. Not sure what causes the glitch and apparently can happen on any level. Mine just happened to be this level twice though.

For anyone short on Aspari kills. The first checkpoint in Scandinavia has 8. I was still 115 short after doing all other challenges. Set up a private game and kill the heavy armoured looking enemies around the turret and run to the garage. When you see your stats, quit out and go again.

I am questioning if this is bugged for me. I am at lvl 30, all research maxed, stars are 27/27, but challenges say 5/125. Yet I only have like 3 that aren't completed. The rest are over completed. I haven't logged into this game in probably 9 years, but it would suck if I have to grind all that out again.

Edit: I take that back. I went back on the game later and it changed to 97.5% and 117/125.

I would like to add about Electric armor: Very easily done on solo in New England (Hard), you can actually get 3 kills: 1st is after deactivaing 1st turret, 2nd and 3rd are after deactivating 2nd turret, they will come out of the door with ECM guy as well. After you killed them, go to the next checkpoint spot, quit to main menu, rinse and repeat. Easy but takes time. :)

Agreed. Borderlands 1 and 2 just aren't quite the same when it's just you.

First level is easy enough for boosting Savior/Team Savior. Clear all the enemies, including mercs if they spawn, then have one guy stand in front of the APC's turret, with you nearby out of LoS, and you just constantly heal him. Allows you to get a steady rhythm going too.

The only enemy types I have left are liquid, electric, electron mace, and mercenaries.

The quickest liquid armor I've found is at the beginning of Scandanavia when playing on Hard, it takes about 2.5 minutes to kill him and burn through the Aspari ankle biters from the APC. The same section on Normal will give you one electron mace and takes about 60 seconds.

I also stumbled on the electric armor on New England when playing on Hard, but I found it much more efficient to run directly into the control room and hack the door (killing the ankle biters while it hacks), then killing the electric armor that comes out and quitting to menu after hacking into the next area. It takes about 1.5 minutes to burn through this first segment of New England, which is a lot more time efficient than 10-ish minutes for 3 electrics on a continuous play through.

CEO // Level 5 Mercenary Challenge
The most frustrating part of this achievement was getting the mercenaries to spawn. I spent a good three hours trying with no luck. Finally, found a quick way to do it. Below are two videos I recorded, so you could get a better grasp of the method I used.

Summary
Create a private match:
Map: Western Europe
Difficulty: Expert
Loadout: Sniper, Reboot, C2C

: Clear out the enemies at the beginning, but do not breach the first security booth.
: Once the area is clear, switch to your pistol and make a run for the APC's turret.
(Switching to your pistol will enable you to run faster)
: As soon as you start breaching the turret, quickly turn around and run back to the booth.
: Then, breach the booth and the dropship should arrive.
: The mercenaries will not drop from the ship, until all remaining enemies are eliminated.
: Kill all Mercenaries and the Reactive.
: Breach the last booth and get to the checkpoint.
(Your progress is only saved when you reach the checkpoint)
: Once your progress is saved, exit.
Each run will net 7 or 8 mercenary kills. The level 5 challenge requires 20, so three runs at this should do it. If you breach the booth and the dropship doesn't show up, it isn't going to, so don't even bother wasting your time. Just restart.

It's a bit of a pain in the ass, but you'll get it.

Its certainly not 100% guaranteed to work every time but its the only way I could get them to spawn, Thank You! - Just a side note, when ever I died and failed it would never show up upon re-spawn. It seemed for me that it would only work first game in.

Yes, there's a random quality to spawning the mercenaries. That's what makes this challenge such a bitch. Spent hours trying to find out what conditions triggered them to spawn. I even went as far as backing out to menu and dashboarding at times. Glad it worked for you.

Just from my experience, the mercenaries never spawned right after breaching the APC then the guard booth. I had to clear out the level until the mercenaries spawn. You'll know when the mercenaries will spawn because there will be barely any enemies spawning.

Something I found to be a key on letting them to spawn was breaching the turret from as far back as possible. If I went too close it would cause the gates to shut and I never had them spawn if the gates shut before I killed everyone.

I'm with Harbinger on the C2C pulse, it makes you invincible while it lasts on any difficulty. It should always be in one of your skill slots regardless of how many people you have or what other skills the team has between them. My schtick before my buddy and I started grinding this achievement (and how I got all the reactive/liquid/electric kills) was to start a C2C and aggro the officer, then remain perfectly still while I finish them off point blank. Reboot is your best bet for slot 2 if you're solo, otherwise it's basically a horse apiece -- pick whatever you're comfortable with.

This solution finally gave me a fast solo method of getting my last 9 merc kills for the damned achievement. Kill the 6 guys at the beginning, C2C, hack the APC, hack the first booth, look for the dropship. Takes 60 seconds to figure out if you're gonna get merc kills or not. Awesome.

Good solution. Worked many more times than not.

BTW: You do not have to kill the Reactive. When ready, breach the gate, run in and activate the check point. Good to go. This works in other areas of the game as well. If available, you can use C2C or dart overlay but they shouldn't be necessary.

Here is my solution. I did it this way and it didn't take too long.

So I recommend that you get rank 30 before you start grinding these challenges because it's a lot easier when you have all the chips and researches. I used mainly kusanagi assault rifle and bullhammer. What apllications you use, well its about you but I used c2c pulse and reboot so I didn't have start again if I die.

There is also very easy way to hit rank 30 if you have a friend. Just choose Mosambique and make your way through to the first machine gun. Don't breach it because now you or your friend goes to top of the stairs so that machine gun shoots you. Then you just wait that you die and then your friend reboots you and he gains 1800 points if I remember right. At this way you can get points and hit rank 30 very fast.

Okay, I started to grind these challenges after we had done all levels on expert so I already had some challenges done.

First I played multiple times China on normal because this is the best map to get mace kills ( about 6 to 8 for round), riotlance kills and riot shield kills. You may have better success with harder difficulty but this level sucks so I that's why I did it on normal. You also get liquid armor kills 2 for round but don't concentrate to this too much yet. When you finish all these it's time to move to next part.

Now choose New england on hard and keep playing first two checkpoints. You will get 3 electro armor kills, at least 3 ecm kills and many penetration kills if you don't have that achievements yet. I recommend that when the level starts climb ladders on your right and at the top turn right. From there you can see all enemies because they run from tiny hole directly front of you. I hope this helps because this is only hard part in the level.

Next you should go towards that mercenary kills challenge. Choose expert and Western Europe. Main thing you have to do is to kill EVERYONE before you move on to the next area. If the mercs do not appear when there is anymore enemies at the first area they don't at all. I did this all by myself and get them 3 for 4 times. Use sniper when doing this it helps a lot and snipe every enemy from the stand at the start of the level.

If you still need some challenges like liquid armor kills like I did there is very easy way to obtain them. Choose Skandinavia on hard and just run to first checpoint. You get 1 kill for every run and it takes about 1 or 2 minutes. You may also need some spectre kills but they are really easy, just take Atlantic accelerator.

All other challenges are relatively easy and you shouldn't have any problems with them. Sorry for grammar error I am not native english speaker.

This solution is detailed for Mercenary Kills challenge that is part of the CEO achievement.

The overall solution that Sourman145 originally provided is pretty spot on. There is a little vagueness with Mercenary Kills that I would like to elaborate on that I believe will give you a 90-95% Mercenary appearance rate.

The Mercenary Kills were farmed by xMANNY FRE5Hx, joethepot, BiiioHazarD, and me. My thanks go to them for their help.

Setup:
~ # of players - 4 (don't all need to be in same syndicate)
~ map - Western Europe
~ difficulty - Expert

You may have had success with fewer players on a different map. We had a drop ship appear 9 out of 10 times.

The following steps are what we did every time and I believe is conclusive...

Once the match starts, 3 people are to go to the right up the steps onto the mezzanine and stay there sniping the entire level. Kill the 2 enemies coming up the other side of the steps and then immediately kill the rocket launcher on the wall on the right near the gate. Eliminate enemies the moment they are visible. Use Dart Overlay to snipe them if they go into cover.

You can breach the controls in the 1st guard shack to raise the barricades. DO NOT BREACH THE CONTROLS IN THE 2nd GUARD POST TO OPEN THE GATE TO THE NEXT AREA!!

As the level plays out, enemies will come out of the large gate on the right to the next area. KILL THEM IMMEDIATELY as they appear. 1 enemy comes out at a time. That enemy needs to be killed for the next enemy to quickly come out.

Okay, now the 4th player comes into play. At the start of the match, the 4th player on the team can wait a few seconds to allow the path around the corner to clear. Once the enemies around the 1st guard post are eliminated, that player is to proceed around the guard post, turn left down the 1st alley and breach the gate in front of them. Then player 4 is to turn right around the corner and proceed past the fuel tanks while killing a rocket launcher enemy on the roof. Once the rocket launcher enemy is eliminated, player 4 goes to the next corner and STOPs. Player 4 is NOT to proceed down the next segment of alley that will take them to the guard post near the APC. They are to stay there and shoot anyone that they can see.

The elapsed time to this point should be about 1 minute. The main objective, besides killing the enemies, is to kill ALL the spawning enemies that come out from the large gate. You will know when you have killed them all because the female communication voice will tell you to proceed to the next area. The large gate will remain open until one of your squad mates gets within proximity of the gate, then it will close. Within a matter of seconds (if it hasn't appeared already), the drop ship should appear at the rear of this section deploying 6 named Lieutenants and 1 Reactive Lieutenant with a minigun. The person killing the named Lieutenants will get credit for those kills. The person that initiates the final shield breach on the Reactive will get the credit for that kill, not the person that ChipRips him. Once all the mercs are killed, breach the controls for the main gate. Once the gate is opened get all 4 players into the next section, breach the next set of controls which saves your progress, rinse and repeat.

The drop ship should appear within 2 minutes of the level starting if the above steps are followed. If the drop ship doesn't appear within 2.5 minutes, it won't appear at all. Quit out and start over.

We all farmed our mercenary kills on 20 May. When we followed these steps exactly, the drop ship appeared 9 out of 10 times. When we got too close to the gate before all the enemies were killed, the drop ship didn't appear. You will know if you did not kill all the spawning enemies because there will be 4 enemies behind the gate once the main gate is breached.

Eliminate all the enemies as quickly as possible while not getting too close to the main gate and you should have great success.

Unobtainable due to Server Closure

In order to attain 100% Completion in the Co-Op Made, you must satisfy the following:

1. Complete all 9 Co-op Maps on Expert difficulty
This is a requirement for High Value Asset trophy_bronze.png trophy.

2. Complete all Weapons and Application Research
As explained in the guide for In The Name of Sciencetrophy_bronze.png, Weapons and Application Research Tokens are obtained by finishing off high ranking enemies and by completing each map on Expert difficulty. Use this tokens to unlock items for Research, then keep playing missions and earn points to complete the Research. Your research progress can be viewed in the Agent tab.

3. Complete all Co-Op Challenges
This is the most time-consuming portion of the Co-Op mode. A list of challenges is viewable by going to the Agent tab and selecting Challenges, Contracts and Leaderboard > Challenges and Contracts. You need to complete each and every one of these challenges listed. Your progress is saved each time you reach a checkpoint gate in any mission, so you can safely quit and don't have to worry about losing your progress. Refer to the Co-Op Challenges Guide for more info.

This is the long haul achievement for coop. You will definitely hit rank 30 and probably have the majority of your upgrades (52 for apps, 86 for weapons) before you're even close to finishing all of these. Any enemy that must be breached to be killed (Liquids, etc) can be shared between two people so long as you breach the final armor layer together, so you can easily cut down those grind times. Here's the list of what you'll need to accomplish for the challenges:

Total Kills: 5000
Includes all kills (even liquids, etc)

Spectre Kills: 50
Found in Cayman Global maps (1-3)

Electron Mace Kills: 100
This only counts people you kill that are holding the weapon. Sergeants in Colorado, China or Scandinavia.

Riot Lance Kills: 100
This only counts people you kill that are holding the weapon. Police in China or Scandinavia.

Riot Shield Kills: 100
This only counts killing police that are holding one. They show up in China and Scandinavia.

EMC Kills: 50
They are the guys that jam your DART chip and breaching abilities with the pulsing animation. EuroCorp levels (7-9).

Aspari Kills: 1000
All Aspari kills count to this on any Aspari themed level (4-6).

EuroCorp Kills: 1000
All EuroCorp kills count to this one on any EuroCorp themed level (7-9).

Cayman Global Kills: 1000
All Cayman Global kills count to this one on any Cayman Global themed level (1-3).

Police Kills: 100
These guys only show up in China and Scandinavia. They wear black attire, so you can tell them apart from the gred/red Aspari guys.

Mercenary Kills: 20
They will randomly spawn on Expert mode on a few levels. Western Europe, Colorado and Scandinavia are all confirmed places where they will show up. In Western Europe, they will drop near the first giant door. In Colorado, they will drop on the landing pad above where you start toward the end of the level. In Scandinavia, they will drop after you leave the warehouse. There's no sure-fire way to get these guys to show up, but when they do, around 7 of them will show up. This will be the most difficult challenge to solo, so grab a friend or three.

Liquid Armor Kills: 50
They show up in Cayman Global levels, but will be replaced in higher difficulties. Hard is probably the best balance of them. You might have to farm these, due to how uncommon they tend to be compared to reactives.

Electric Armor Kills: 50
These are EuroCorp faction units, so they show up in levels 7-9. They are functionally like Liquids, but emit electricity when ready for a chip rip.

Reactive Armor Kills: 50
They are in most levels, and are usually replacements for liquids/electrics on higher difficulty levels. They are more plentiful in the long run than either Liquids or Electrics, and you will encounter them on every level with Scandinavia probably having the least.

Agent Kills: 20
These are the enemies that usually show up at the end of the themed arcs. The following levels have agents:

  • Atlantic Accelerator:
    4 Agents at the end
  • China:
1 Agent in tunnels (hard difficulty or above)
  • Scandinavia:
    4 Agents at the end
  • Argentina:
    2 Agents at the end
  • New England:
    4 Agents at the end

Kills by Fire: 100
Thermite thrower, COIL, and CQC shotgun's alt-fire will accomplish this. Since CQC is a loadout gun, it's easier to do it with that since you can reload it at any ammo box, and it has a decent range.

Gibbed Enemies: 500
A gibbed enemy is an enemy that dies when they lose an arm, leg, are split in half, or lose their head. Shotguns at close range can accomplish this, as can the sniper rifle, Bullhammer revolver, minigun and explosive weapons. The sniper is a good choice for this, because you can shoot heads from behind cover and also go for penetration kills at the same time.

Executions: 500
Melee kills using the right stick. This also includes chip rips.

Heals: 500
Healing your ally for any amount of health counts. C2C heal is a great way to pump this up, otherwise, normal heals and squad heals count as well.

Reboots: 200
When your team mate is down, they will call out for a reboot. Breaching them will raise them again. Do this 200 times.
Savior: 50
This is awarded when you heal someone that's about to die, or kill someone that is using an electron mace on your ally.

Team Savior: 50
Only awarded when you reboot someone as the last man standing. Doesn't matter how many other players are in the game. Team Savior only counts for the first reboot when one person is left, so raising your partner in a 2 player game counts the same amount as raising one partner in a 4 player game.

Syndicate Heals: 500
It's the same as the "heals" challenge, only for healing a member of your syndicate. This stacks with normal heals, so you can complete both challenges by healing people in your syndicate 500 times.

Syndicate Reboots: 200
Same as reboots, but when rebooting a member of your syndicate. This stacks with the "reboots" challenge, so you can finish both challenges by rebooting a syndicate member 200 times.

Syndicate Savior: 50
Same as savior, but when "saving" a member of your syndicate. This stacks with the "savior" challenge, so you can finish both challenges by "saving" a syndicate member 50 times.
