How to unlock the I Don't Need Much achievement in Tainted Grail: Conquest - Definitive Guide

TL;DR
Use Zealot
Get Quick Aim Passive
Try and reduce deck to 8 cards , 4 of which are Feints
Win every fight by spamming Feints until either you use Ultimate, or Aimed Shot to kill a target in one shot.
Repeat as necessary

This will require the use of the Zealot class and during the course of your run, you will need to be somewhat lucky with the RNG. This solution is also combined with the "Zealot" achievement, for achieveing level 20 using the Zealot class (and an opportunity for "I Have the Power")

The Zealot starting deck is 14 cards in size, so you will need to remove at least six of these if you want to earn both of the achievements at once, as well as to use the strategy to its maximum ability (though it will work with a deck size greater than 8, it has to be built correctly). You want to remove (and never take) any Quiver (Orange) cards, as these only hold a Zealot back. You also want to remove the Maneuver (Blue) cards "Bow Draw" and "Stepping Stones", as well as the Attack (Red) cards "Smoke Shot" and one of your standard "Shot" cards. You can also swap out one or more of your Shot cards for something like Muscle Tearing Shot (400% damage but draw 2 less cards next turn).

The opportunities for removing cards are few and far between, so even if they will put you in a bit of a dicey spot, take the opportunity when you can. To my knowledge, the ways you can remove cards are:

Witch - Sacrifice 80% current max HP and remove up to 5 cards
Elderly Archer - Remove 2 cards at no detriment if his quest has been completed. Otherwise costs 10HP (I think)
Hunting Grounds - Instead of choosing to hunt, rest and fight the monsters that come, then choose to remove up to 2 cards.
Master-at-Arms - The Master-at-Arms villager can remove 1 (by default) card per run for 100 Wealth, can gain another if has the upgrade costing 400 Card Shreds (1 gained per card not taken when opportunity arises)
Guardian Kills - Each Guardian Killed allows you to remove 1 card. (thank you to IcyThrasher for pointing this out)

This means that you will need to use the Witch in order to pare your deck down small enough.

The other things to look out for or upgrade during your run are default/starting Armour (the more you have, the better this works) and the opportunity to take the Passive Skill "Quick Aim". This makes every fight absolutely trivial, as it gives you a 2% damage buff, per point of Barrier remaining at the start of your next turn. If you just spam Feints, you can stack damage as high as you need to allow your Ultimate or an Aimed Shot to kill a target in a single blow. This works for every fight, even the fake final boss (which if you did, would earn you the "I Have the Power" achievement).

There are a few other options as well.
The Bard has the Song of Forgetting for removing a card.
I believe if you run into the master at arms outside the village you get another remove card option independent of the one in the village (I think its the Master at Arms NPC anyway I can't remember exactly).
The blood altar lets you lose some HP in order to remove a card
The Erratic Seamstress lets you remove a card if you find her outside the village

I'm fairly certain there are a couple more but I can't think of them off the top of my head. The main point in bringing this up is you do have some leeway in picking up a couple of extra cards (although to be honest as DJ Frigid points out in his solution, the Zealot is mildly broken with some of his passives lol so you don't really need to)

This achievement unlocked for me presumably by mistake on my necromancer playthrough when I defeated the drunk guy in the bar who initially wouldn't let me in but did so after I acquired a certain item. After gaining access he wanted to fight me.

I most certainly did not have less than 8 cards in my deck nor was I in my lich form when I beat him.

It also unlocked the achievement for winning the tutorial fight. I'm not sure if theres a correlation. I know all of that is pretty vague. But it may be a repeatable solution.

The most easy way yo unlock this achievement is play with the necromancer and finish de fake boss in Lich form.

Just set Game as easy difficult, then play normaly and go for the fake final boss with the guardians hearts.

Fight as much as possible to level up and take the better cards and passives, just NOT choose to add cards to the lich's deck.

In the final battle just use a combo of golem for tank the hits and abomination with wirms to make damage. Transform the boss into spiritual form and eliminate de Minions with your abominations.

Pay special attention on turn countdown (hourglass icon rightside on attack boss icon). Keep your definitive and use it in the final last turn ( before the countdown finish) and transform you into Lich form. Finish the turn, the battle ends and you unlock the achievement.
