How to unlock the The Last Level achievement in Tales of Berseria - Definitive Guide

This Achievement is for getting to level 200.

It may seem daunting at first but it isnt so difficult when you use Grade in new Game+ to stack 2x and 3x EXP for a total of 6x EXP. Once you are able to buy both 2x and 3x EXP boosts beat the game entirely including all side quests and the Bonus dungeon to get to level 200. I hit level 100 before defeating the final boss(I did ALL side quests before the final boss).

Complete the quest "Striding Beyond the End" after completing the game. This will net you a lot of EXP with the 6x Multiplier.

The rest of the levelling will need to be done via the Bonus Dungeon. To do this you will need:

Dragon Slayer: +30% EXP from Dragons Enhancement Bonus
Feldspar Belt +20% EXP from Dragons Enhancement Bonus
Topaz Garment +20% EXP from Beasts Enhancement Bonus
Lindworm Ring\Anamalia Ring +40% EXP from Dragons\+40% EXP from Beasts Enhancement Bonus
Adamantine Boots Not required but I found that I typically always got a pair that had Three +18% Capability vs Dragons Random skills andMaster skill has a 6% chance not to lose a soul for a break soul.

Once you got all these pieces MAKE SURE YOU ENHANCE THEM until the skills mentioned are unlocked. Either ring will work for this. Anamalia ring is easier to upgrade.

So basically what you want to do is enter the Bonus dungeon and teleport to the First Stage. Set your party to defense only as you need to land the killing blow to get the bonus EXP. Go to the Boss which is the Green Lizard and Kill it. It is a Dragon\Beast type enemy which is why we want the EXP bonuses. Upon defeat you will get 1,000,000 EXP which will Level you up 2 level majority of the time. Sometimes you will finish just under 2 Levels but not often. Teleport out of the Bonus dungeon and repeat. The achievement will unlock when ONE character hits 200.

To earn this trophy, you have to raise the level of a character to maximum which is level 200. This will take a long time if you are trying this to do on your first playthrough. With the Grade Shop options Double Experience and Triple Experience for 700 Grade and 3,000 Grade respectively, you can play a second playthrough with 6x EXP activated making it much faster to get to level 200. You earn by far the most experience points from bosses. Luckily, the bosses in the Bonus Dungeon are repeatable, so you can defeat the boss from the first floor over and over. Once you have defeated it, warp back outside the bonus dungeon and re-enter it. Warp to the first floor, clear the random room and then you can defeat the first boss again. See Ultimate Stress Relief for more details on the bonus dungeon.

I'll write my version of leveling up on the first playthrough. You will need: Corduroy and clothes for it. Dragon slayer, spar belt. Topaz robe and animal ring. All of them at leveling 1-3 give a bonus to exp for killing dragons and beasts.

Turn on the easy difficulty level and go farm the first boss in the heavenly steppes. The whole process for 1 visit takes no more than 2 minutes. The main thing is to finish off the boss for the corduroy. Total 400k exp in 2 minutes. The battle takes no more than 30 seconds.

Ps: if suddenly you don’t have the necessary gear. Dragon Slayer only in chests in the heavenly steppes (I farmed on the fifth floor by going to the room until there was a room with chests. Dropped out on the 3rd time). Everything else is bought in stores in cities. Let's jump and look. If it’s not available anywhere, then we’ll port to helaves, kill 3 mobs there and go shopping again. (Any 3 battles update stores around the world)

The result was 25 lvl in an hour, taking into account the fact that I didn’t always finish off the corduroy and gave 190k exp. If you always get her then 30+ per hour.

I reached 200 on my first playthrough. Unlike NG+, there is no x6 experience and I had to work hard, initially I went to the Ex Dungeon and killed monsters on the last, penultimate difficulty, but it took a long time, on average 1.5 levels per hour. There is another method that I later used - we port to the 6th hall of the Ex Dungeon (screenshot below), although any other hall will do, where many enemies are concentrated in a small space, but I chose this

We set the difficulty to Simple (on it the experience rates are 1.2x, for comparison on Chaos it is 0.6x), drink a dark bottle, collect mobs 2 at a time so that a black spot appears under them and then we attack, the inscription Dangerous Enemy will appear. Initially, on the easy difficulty level in the 6th hall, the enemies will be level 90, but if you attack a group of 2+ enemies, then they become your level. When you clear all the monsters on the floor, save, reboot and the enemies will appear again. On average I received 6.5 levels per hour. In addition, at this difficulty you can set automatic control and the AI will fight for you, while you mind your own business.
