How to unlock the Light it up achievement in The Artful Escape - Definitive Guide

You can get this achievement in Chapter 4, "Turning Into a New Dimension". Once you have control after you get the guitar, simply run from one end of the block to the other while holding cn_X. Once all the lights are lit up on one level, take the elevator down a level and do it again. Repeat the process until you run into the NPC who gave you the guitar.

If you get to the npc and missed the other side of the block on the bottom floor you can go back after the cut scene and short tutorial and finish lighting up.

This achievement is missable. In the beginning of the game, once you gain control over your character after you get your guitar, you can press X to manipulate your surroundings by jamming. In Calypso, it makes the lights go on. Simply work your way through the floors of Calypso from right to left (of the other way round) until all lights are on and the achievement will unlock once you reach the entry point of the village.

In the Chapter: Tuning Into A New Dimension, you will need to walk from your house back to the start of 
Calypso. As you do so, make sure to play your guitar to turn on the lights on every building, tree, bench, 
etc. Also, make sure to check the areas opposite the entrance and exit to the elevators. On the second 
elevator, make sure to light up the right side of the screen before heading left and progressing the story.

At the beginning of the game when you receive you guitar, it will explain you how to use it (hold cn_S).
Just maintain cn_S to light all the background building and run through the whole platform (left and right side).
Then take the lift down and do the same on lower floors. Once you have completed the last floor.
The trophy will unlock.

After you "rest" for the first time in Calypso near the beginning of the game (when you get back home), you'll meet Zomm, the innards-showing alien who will eventually introduce you to Lightman. When he tells you about the night you're about to have, you'll find yourself equipped with a new guitar (and the power of rock'n'roll, baby!). When you play the guitar, the buildings and hanging lights near you will light up. For this trophy, you need to light up every area of Calypso. You'll start on the 3rd/top level and make your way down. Make sure you're going all the way left and right on each level before going down to the next. When you reach the 1st/bottom level, go right first, then go all the way left (left will progress the story so you want to get the lights on the right first). As soon as all of the lights are lit up, the trophy will unlock.

If you missed this while playing through the game, reload checkpoint "Tuning into a New Dimension" and light everything up from there.

At the very beginning, when you receive the guitar from the alien, you run and light the lights in the city. When you go down the elevator to the very bottom, go turn on the lights to the right, if you go left first, you will fall into the arms of an alien and he will take you further in the story, you will not be able to return, you will have to start from the checkpoint, and the restart extinguishes all the lights.

If someone did not cope the first time, then from the beginning of the house we go all the way to the left, return to the elevator and go lower, all the way to the left then to the right, return to the elevator, go down lower and repeat but from right to left (required) during this we can hold on to the race all the time .
