How to unlock the Conscientious Objector achievement in The Bureau: XCOM Declassified - Definitive Guide

You can use all human weapons including the microwave and lightning cannons. Don't pick up any alien energy weapons or sticky grenades and you should be fine.

I recommend rookie difficulty as towards the end of the dlc human weapons are underpowered.

Just a heads up. You CAN pick up a alien weapon but you CAN NOT fire it. I picked up a weapon by mistake and dropped it right away. When I finished the last level the achievement unlocked.

Preatty easy on Rookie difficulty.

This wasn't that hard on commander difficulty. I used te AK47 and the sniper rifle for most of it swapping shotgun as needed.

Having a recon and an engineer with plasma weapons helped too.

I did it on commander difficulty as well and wasn't too bad. Some annoying sections but still doable in about 2 and a half hours.

Want to mention that if you do pick up an alien weapon without noticing (because it's stupid easy to do so while trying to reload) and fire it by accident, you can just reload your checkpoint. This happened to me on the second to last mission and I was convinced I'd have to do another run through on rookie, but it popped at the end of the game.

DaSilva (player) can pick up alien weaponry, but CAN NOT FIRE THEM! If you do fire one accidentally, you can Reload the Last Checkpoint and save your achievement.

Your squad agents can use alien weaponry without affecting this achievement.

Alien weaponry consists of anything with Laser or Plasma in the name, as well as Sticky Grenades.

Lightning weapons and the Microwave Gun are human technology and thus are safe to use while trying for this achievement.

Missable!

You will start receiving alien weapons halfway through the DLC. It is best to play on Rookie difficulty to make this trophy much easier. The following weapons are ok to use and will not void this trophy:

M1911 Pistol
M14 Rifle
M1897 Shotgun
M1903-A4 Sniper Rifle
Z-62 Machine Pistol
Microwave Gun
Lightning Cannon
AK47
Frag Grenade

*The Light Plasma Pistol DLC weapon is not available for use while playing Hangar 6 R&D campaign.

Do not use or fire any alien weapons to include Plasma, Laser, Scatter and Sticky Grenades to receive this trophy after completion of the DLC. If you do happen to pick up and use an alien weapon during combat, reload a previous save prior to that incident.

Credit to nimrod for the confirmation that your squad can use alien weapons, just not Agent DaSilva. If you happen to pick up a weapon by accident, drop it without firing and you will still obtain this trophy.
