How to unlock the MSM: I'm Lycan It achievement in The Jackbox Party Pack 4 - Definitive Guide

Werewolf doesn't show up unless you have 5 players, not counting the audience.

Anyway, this achievement is actually very easy to get. I suggest having 5 players and 1 audience member, with you obviously controlling everybody.

Keep restarting until someone (it's ok if it's the audience member!) is a werewolf. From here, I'll give the directions in list format.

Night 1: Do whatever - doesn't matter.
Night 2: Whoever is the werewolf MUST get a date. Just match the werewolf with another player, doesn't matter who.
Night 3-6: If there is not a full moon, it does not matter what you do. You will have 2 more full moons in the game for a total of 3.
Full moon #2: Have your original werewolf date someone NEW and have whoever you turned to a werewolf on Night 2 also date someone NEW. You now have 4 werewolves.
Full moon #3: With 4 werewolves and only 2 non-werewolves remaining, all you need to do is make sure that you match those 2 people with 2 of your werewolves.

At the end of the game, when it reveals monster powers and scores, a werewolf head should pop up over all 6 players, earning you the achievement!

The only tricky part is keeping track of who you've spread your lycantropy to :)

Please note that the players during the game do NOT become werewolves - they will retain their original monster power, so there are no in-game indicators of whom has become a werewolf!

Let me know if anything isn't clear! Good luck!

What happens if a zombie is another monster? Does full moon cancel its powers?

Didn’t pop. Can’t tell if it’s because of the zombie or because I couldn’t date the audience for some reason. Ugh.

You might want to add the audience has to receive a message from someone in order to date!!!

Please update this with Tandar's comments. Wasted time as I couldn't date the audience member

Thanks for the guide.

Just to add, you may want to enable longer times, just to make sure you don't run out and have time to set up everything.

You should mention that the full moons are randomized. They can happen during any of the nights. The only thing that is consistent is that there are 3 of them each game. Also it is better to have 6 players with no audience because the audience can glitch sometimes making it so you can't date even through you pushed the button.

I did it with 5 players and no audience. I had a werewolf and zombie in the game, and can verify that players can become both and it will not void the achievement.

SOooooooo can you infect a monster hunter? Seems like this game cucked me after setting up 7 games to try and get a werewolf, then playing it all the way through

Big down vote. He doesn't look at comments need to rewrite solution. Put extend timers first, ask player to look for full moon day and note down whether a player turned werewolf or not. Otherwise it total mess up.

Anyone else can write a guide to replace this..

I agree it needs updating though I’m pretty sure it already mentions full moons between 3-6.

Having enough time is sort of key. I assume he is thinking people doing this are old hat at Jackbox Achievements and just always pause the game when setting things up between rounds (no need for extended timer).

Simplified:

Name your characters A through F. (5 players 1 audience). This assumes A is werewolf:

A dates B on the first full moon (mine was Night 2)
A dates C and B dates D on second full moon (mine was Night 4)
A dates E and B dates F on the last full moon (mine was Night 5)

all are infected.

Tips:
Full moon is evident in the top right of the screen.
Use a notepad to keep track of who is infected and arrows to who you will date next.
Pause the game to get all chats in place before unpausing.
Pause the game to get all dates in place before unpausing.

Load up a game with 5 players, you will automatically be given the Audience as an additional player once the game starts.
When the character roles are revealed at the beginning of Night 1, check all of your players, if nobody is a Werewolf, closeout and try again.

Once you have a Werewolf, You will need to pay attention to which nights have a Full Moon (This will pop up on the screen that indicates which night # you are on)
There are 6 nights total, of which 3 are guaranteed to be full moons (Night 1 will never be a Full Moon)

Each night which is a full moon, you will need to have your Werewolf date someone, and have them reciprocate and date back.
Once this person has been dated on a full moon night, they also become a Werewolf.
Do not worry if there is no confirmation message that the person dated has turned into a Werewolf, it still counts.

This status needs to be spread to everyone in the game, Including the audience, at the end of the game.
(The Audience is "Dated" by sending them a message on a night where you do not date anyone else)

Once you have 2 Werewolves, each of these players will need to date a new person on the next full moon night and have them reciprocate and date back.
After this night, each of these Dateee's will be a Werewolf, so you should be left with 1 Non-Werewolf and the Audience.

On the last full moon night, have one of your Werewolves message the Audience a few times to Date them and have another of your Werewolves date the last Non-Werewolf and have that player reciprocate and date back.

The Achievement should pop at the final screen when the Werewolves are revealed.
