How to unlock the Rough Journey achievement in TRANSFORMERS: BATTLEGROUNDS - Definitive Guide
Before starting the final stage, quit fully out the game to the dashboard, take yourself offline. Reload the game and play through the final mission. If you pass, go back online as normal. If you're going to fail, delete your local save file, go back online and reload the game to sync your save data back to before the final mission.
My set-up for the final stage was as follows:
Arcee - Sharpshooter, Black Hole Grenade
Wheeljack - Sharpshooter, Frag Grenade, Magnet Dash
Optimus - Strike, Charged Blaster
Windblade - Scout Overwatch, Stormfall
Bumblebee - Scout Overwatch, Stinger
Grimlock - Strike, Chomp Jaw
Increased attack is more important than increased movement, increased health is on par with attack but use your own judgement on how much you want to boost either of them.
Any Overwatch is ideal, I just happened to get Scout on my run. Overwatch is very helpful on turn one as the first turn of this run will be sitting back and letting the Decepticons come forward. Getting a couple of cheap shots in is a bonus.
Black Hole Grenade and Frag Grenade are probably the two most important abilities, as they both allow you to attack round corners, and pull/push the enemies into walls/each other, giving extra damage.
Charged Blaster and Chomp Jaw both drop defenses, so they're important to use first each turn.
Magnet Dash is a bonus, or any ultimate really, but you could probably do the run without using one, but it's much easier to do so on a separate run, so if you need to use the ultimate to defeat an enemy, do so.
It's important to note that there are two stages to the final fight, much like in the story. Ideally you want to be taking out the named Decepticons first as they will deal more damage, but the Scouts and Brawlers are just as painful with the low health, so take them out when the opportunity arises, especially with the two grenade types.
