How to unlock the Flying Higher achievement in UNO - Definitive Guide
Start a new match with:
- UNO Rabbids cards.
Because there are some other special cards which makes it more fun.
Turn on the following options:
- Stacking (if you prefer but save up your +2 as much as possible so when AI gives one to you you can stack it and pass it on to the next player)
- Jump In
- Draw to match
The last one draw to match is the most important one in my eyes. Because if you are lucky or AI unlucky you end up with a lot of cards when you can't match the number or color. This way play smart and hopefully collect those points.
Best way is the have around 400-499 points before your last win.
I managed to get 360 points in the last match. There were a few times i got close you just need a little skill and a lot of luck.
Hopefully this helps the people that can't boost this achievement like me.

Start a game using the original Uno deck and have the house rules set with stacking and Draw to Match on nothing else is needed and rounds do not matter because you will have over 1000 points at the end of the first round.
Once the game has started have the player who is not going for the achievement begin drawing cards until they have about 50-70 cards or until they have all 8 black action cards (these are worth 50 points each and will put you over the 700 mark easily) and the second player should only play non black action cards to prevent the ai from winning.
Now its time to win just keep playing and utilize the second player to keep it the color you need. This shouldnt be an issue with the cards the second player has. You should also attempt to keep the card numbers low so your not sacrificing to many points. I.e. 1's and 0's. As previously mentioned once you have won the round the achievement should be yours.
Normal cards are worth their number, special cards like shift, skip, +2 are worth 20 points and the two black card types are worth 50 points each. When a round is over, the winner gains points according to the cards, the other players have still on their hands. For example: 5 + shift + black card = 75 points.
Now there will be two steps.
In the first round you will have to try to get a high score but not over 500, if your score is over 500 at the end of the round you have to try again. Your friends simply draw cards while you try to get rid of your own cards. Your friends should always check the points on their hands, so you won't get over 500 in the first round.
In the second round you simply have to make sure your friends have enough points in their hands to push you over the remaining points to 700, before you drop your last card. For example: You scored 450 points in round one, so you have to score at least 250 points in round two.
After the results screen, it should pop.
Edit: NitrousSpeed pointed out in the comments, that you can also do this in only one round, by everyone except yourself having at least 50-60 cards on hand. Just do what you like better :)
Edit 2: Good advice from gamer evil terrorr: If everyone in your group needs this achievement, do a 2vs2 game, this way you are twice as fast. Furthermore enable the rule "draw until match" to speed up every round.
Best method is to do 2 vs 2 boosting in a group of 4, one round match all rules set off.
Losing team keeps drawing cards until the whole deck is used up which consists of over 100 cards, the winning team should keep their cards low at all times but not winning the game (draw a card here and there so you don't finish the match) until the whole card deck is finished.
The same cards will resurface from the deck this makes getting Nerves of Steel achievement (Win Wild Draw Four challenge 20 times.) so much easier since the possibility of winning a Wild Draw Four challenge is more likely guaranteed and the same Wild Draw 4 card will return back to the previous owner repeat this process til both of the winning team have this achievement then finish the match you'll earn over 1000 points doing this unlocks both achievements.
:)
I played a solo game vs 3 ai and I set the score limit to 500 and I had the following house rules on: Stacking, 7-0, and Draw to match. Draw to match is important for building up your hand like the other guides for Uno say to, I drew cards until the deck was empty (I had around 90ish)
The 7-0 house rule was the key to the entire plan! 0's will rotate every players hands and 7's allow the person who plays it to choose any hand they want from their opponents. So the plan is to essentially try to have as many cards in play as possible when you win the round (more cards = more points)
Wait until the deck is empty or close to it and for an opponent to only have one card left, I had a massive hand so I had 7's from every color and I switched with my opponent who had 1 card left. More often than not, that player will get to go again before you can win and they'll most likely play a 7 and screw you. But here's the trick, they will swap with YOU and give you back your massive hand. Rinse and repeat until eventually you get lucky and someone skips the player you need to avoid or reverses it back to you.
(It helps a ton to try and keep track of what cards people have when you start swapping, with the right knowledge you can try and switch the color before you swap hands, therefore giving you a better chance of finishing the game)
If you manage to win, there will be enough cards on the board to give you close to 1000 points or more in one round!
Again, I tried this once, so if it doesn't work for anybody else, let me know and I'll take down the solution, but I obviously hope this works for others too. Happy Hunting!

This trophy is luck based as it requires you to win a game with more than 700 points. The thing is, you can only win with a maxed Score Limit of 500 points. So in order to get this trophy you're going to have to hope you get very lucky after getting rid of the cards in your hand. The value of the points is determined based off the point value of the remaining cards in your opponent(s) hand. For example, let’s say you've won the round and one of the other players had these cards in their hand:
If an opponent had a hand like this when you win, that is worth 123 score!
So basically you count the numbers altogether from 0-9. All Action Cards are worth 20 points each (Skip, Draw Two, and Reverse), but all Wild Cards are worth 50 points each (Wild and Wild Draw Four). If you're playing 2v2 Match, your partner's hand doesn't count towards the points. It must be from the other two player's hands.
Thankfully, you can obtain this trophy very easily with boosting. You might get it naturally if you've chosen to boost your Nerves of Steel trophy. Depending on how you choose to boost this trophy, based on how many boosters/partners/friends you have in the session. You can either choose to boost in Classic Match or 2v2 Match, but it should be noted that both boosters on the same team during a 2v2 Match will both unlock the 700 trophy at the same while Classic Match only one person can obtain the 700 point trophy.
Boosting Method for Classic Matches:
- Classic Match
- Draw-to-Match => On
- Score Limit => 500
You only need at least one boosting partner for this game match setup. Have the host invite the boosting partner into the lobby (if you have a 3rd or 4th boosting partner, you can invite them too so they can draw cards). Now the host player is usually the person that will go for the trophy first, while the other boosting partner(s) will simply keep on drawing cards every turn without playing anything. If you stall long enough to empty the deck out, you'll score a lot of points when you win the game this way.
The host should be telling the other boosting partner(s) what cards are in their hand when the time comes for them to win. You do this by using a party chat and typing terms like R,B,Y,G (Red, Blue, Yellow, Green) and what numbers or type of Action Cards you have in your hand. The game is random by nature, but if done correctly you'll score about 900-1400 points. The host will unlock the trophy once they get rid of the cards in your hand.
If you need a boosting partner(s), please use the Trophy Boosting Thread (Read First Post!).
Boosting Method for 2v2 Matches:
- 2v2
- Draw-to-Match => On
- Score Limit => 500
You only need at least two boosting partners for this game match setup. Have the host invite the boosting partner into the lobby. The host and their partner will be the ones going for the trophy. If you have a 3rd or 4th boosting partner (or if one of you owns another PS4), you can invite them into the lobby as well. The 3rd and 4th boosting partners will not be going for the win, but will keep drawing cards every turn without playing anything. If you stall long enough to empty the deck out, you'll score a lot of points when you win the game this way.
The host and winning partner should be looking at each others' hands and helping each other out, but it's best if one of you goes for the win or force the other players to draw more cards etc. The game is random by nature, but if done correctly you'll score about 900-1400 points. Both the host and their partner will unlock the trophy at the same time because you both share the same score with each other.
If you need boosting partners, please use the Trophy Boosting Thread (Read First Post!).
Solo Method Without Boosting (Time-Consuming):
- 7-0 => On
- Force Play => Off
- No Bluffing => Off
- Draw-to-Match => On
The method doesn't require any help as it can be done against the AI. The goal is to keep drawing cards every time it's your turn. Don't play the card you draw until you have around 70-80 cards or at least about 6-7 Wild Cards in your hand. Once you have such a hand, start using your 7s and 0s. The 7s will allow you to swap hands with an opponent. The 0s will rotate everyone's entire hands to the next player. This is where the luck comes into play because the AI will try to attempt to get rid of their 7s and 0s. If you keep at it and manage to win the game like this. You'll score huge points at the end of the round. As of now, this is one of the best solo methods for obtaining the trophy if you don't wish to boost at all.
This is probably the most difficult achievement in the game. While technically possible to do naturally, it is much easier to boost with three other players. The highest score you can set to win a match is 500 points. That means during a round you must score enough points to reach 500 plus an additional 200 to reach 700 points. The more cards your opponents have, the higher the score you will get. Wild cards are worth the most.
The best way to boost is to start a 2 vs. 2 match. Have one person try to win while the other three focus on just drawing cards (activating the Draw-to-Match rule will help this). What you DON'T want is to get just over 500 points, winning you the match but not the achievement. Have the other players use all their wild cards but keep the rest. You should finish the round in the 300-400 range. During the next round do the same but the other players should keep the wild cards in their hands. This should net you enough points to go over the 700 point threshold.
Another solution is to keep the game going until the other three players have all of the cards in the deck (around 20-30 per player). Then when you win the point total should be huge (around 1000).
Since it is a 2 vs. 2 game, both players on the winning team should get the achievement. Then just switch sides, and repeat.
3 phones were enough for me to beat one bot.
Spent less than half an hour.
We set the rules “2+2” and “take to the last.”
The main thing is that you sit next to each other (one of the devices goes under the other). The one who loses (device 2) constantly takes cards, until the last one. If there is a “wild” card +4, we definitely throw it, and the other (device 1) always checks it, then device 2 will take +6 cards. (by the way, you can make the Lion heart trophy in the same way .)
Thus, I had 50+ cards in the hands of device 2. After this, we begin to help device 1 win the game.
Finished the game with 1050 points in one game in the end.
