** I've just finished completely rewriting the test details section and this should be complete now! ** If you think of something that is missed OR if the new updates have completely messed up something in here PLEASE let me know!(August 23, 2016)**
Also known as the Halls of Ascension, the seven tests on the moon involve special rooms that randomly spawn in the moon missions on Earth. There is a chance to have from 0-3 test rooms spawn in mission with 1 test room spawned being most common. These missions can be accessed after completing the Second Dream quest.
There are seven different test rooms that when completed give 1 of the 7 Drift mods, each mod being named for the test room it's found in.
There is one more additional test room at this time that involves a vocal tone test; this does not give any Drift mods as reward nor is it required for this achievement, but it does have a chance to give a fully built forma!
The moon missions are medium-high level missions, with level 28-30 average. They also spawn Sentient fighters if players are noticed by the blue sentients, and the different Sentient fighters can be VERY dangerous if you don't know what to do.

They are random unfortunately! However, there appear to be a few missions that are better to spawn different test.
CAPTURE DOES NOT SPAWN SENTIENTS! The Capture node on Earth is called Copernicus.
Crossfire: common spawns(approximately 1 in 5 chance): Endurance, Agility, Coaction, Cunning; rare spawns(approximately 1 in 10 chance): Power, Stealth; Extremely rare spawn(approximately 1 in 50+ chance): Speed.
Mobile Defense: common spawns: everything except speed which might not even spawn at all in MD!(courtesy of Hybridchld)
Capture: good for spawning all Test Rooms: two friends of mine had seen all 7 tests after about 15 runs. Results vary! AllSlayer, ProSauc3 II and TexhnolyzedMech really helped here!

How to recognize the test rooms:
One generally easy way to tell it is a test room is by looking at your minimap, and going by the size of the room.
Small size on the minimap=~10-40% of the minimap covered...most in-between areas in moon mission tilesets.
Medium size on the minimap=Test rooms! Does not fill the minimap when looked at across the narrowest part of the room.
Large/Giant size on the minimap=completely fills or dwarfs the minimap. No known tests at this point.
Another easy and very obvious way of knowing a test room is when you see a flaming circle on the ground somewhere. That indicates a starting point or trigger for one of the test rooms.

Best Warframes for the tests or taking out the Sentients:
Various Warframes can be good for various tests.
Limbo makes the Endurance test a cakewalk if doing it with two people--Limbo can simply banish the person standing on the center! (thanks to Nitefalcon!) Need to have banish unlocked and duration mods recommended!
Loki with spectre's available can solo the Coaction Drift test using Decoy, Focus, and the Spectre(Thanks to The Allslayer & Hybridchld!)
Wukong can make the hard Agility Test very easy by cloudwalking during the test
Ivara can use ziplines in the Agility Test
Nova can use Wormhole to also make the Agility Test easier
And there are many other tricks that can be used. Untested at this point is the use of a Loki decoy or a Spectre to instantly win the Stealth test when it starts.
If intending to fight the Sentients, Excalibur can be very successful as well as Valkyr.
The Sentients can resist up to 3 types of incoming damage at once like the Shadow Stalker; however if they are stunned or put to sleep then they can't activate their damage resistance apparently!
They do hit very hard when they do and it was common for me to get one-shotted by one of their attacks with 300 shields and health on my Nova Prime.
If you have a favorite loadout/trick to take down the pesky Sentients please share!

Can be very annoying without using one of the recommended Warframes.
Wukong, Ivara, Nova, and Loki are the one's that I recommend the most at this point. They all have abilities to travel through the air quickly or easily.

http://vignette2.wikia.nocookie.net/warframe/images/0/0f/Agi... are many giant organ pipes in this room that spiral upwards like a staircase into the room above, and an opening in the very top center of the upper room.
Wukong's Cloudwalker, Nova's Wormhole, Valker's Ripline, and Loki's switch teleport can all make this test easier.
If you touch the main floor at any time during the test, it will reset! Also be aware, if one person enters the portal room, picks up the mod and leaves, they will be respawned on the floor resetting the test and closing the portal!
You can also safely stand on the organ pipe rims or lids, anywhere in the upper room, the two pressure sensitive blocks on the floor, and Ivara's ziplines without resetting the test.

To do this test:
1. Above the main the archway entrance to the room, there will be an opaque white target circle you can shoot. Shoot it and the first tubes will turn green at the rim and open and you will hear an organ sound.
2. To activate the next step, you need to get into one of the open organ pipes, wait briefly, then when you're catapulted upwards out of the tube, rapidly shoot the new white target that has flipped on the left wall then land on an open organ pipe. It might take several tries to learn where each target is, and multiple people is recommended so the person jumping doesn't have to worry about shooting and can instead focus on landing!
You need to rapidly shoot the new target to open the next organ pipe which you can then safely land on; unopened pipes will slide you off to the floor.
3. After the left side target, repeat the process of jumping into the pipes and there will be another target on the right side, repeat the pipes then 2 targets at once in the back of the room. These two can be especially hard to see from certain angles.
4. The organ pipe after the double targets will launch you to the upper floor. From here, the targets are around the walls and you can walk around on the upper floor without penalty.
5. There will be two targets and pipes to jump into before the final 4 tubes will open.
6. Enter one of the final green tubes, and bullet jump up into the opening at the top of the room after being catapulted upwards!
7. Walk through the galaxy portal and enjoy your new Agility Drift Mod!
Note: Nova's Wormhole can teleport players directly to the organ pipe lids and also up into the portal anteroom.

http://vignette2.wikia.nocookie.net/warframe/images/1/17/Coo... entering this room, the cracked and rocky floor slopes downwards towards the center of this medium/large sized room that is shaped like a "+" symbol looking at it from above. Most likely the door you entered will have a flaming ring directly in front of you. There is also a large central pillar with multiple vertical rooms and a death hole beneath and 4 small pillars near each corner of the central pillar.
To do this test:
1. Step in the flaming ring which will be close to one of the doors, and wait for the other rings to fly into place.
2. Have another person step on the new flaming location which appears when the first one is stood on, and that should now turn off the first flaming ring.
3. Once you turn off a glowing ring by stepping on the next you can safely leave the old one without losing progress.
4. Now simply continue stepping on the glowing rings as they show up, always keeping one person on the previous flaming circle before reaching the next.
5. There will be flaming circles on top of the small pillars at the corners, and flaming circles in every corner wall next to the small pillars. You can access the rings in the walls through holes that open when you step on some of the rings or through a crack in the wall. There is a tricky spot where it's dark in the wall and you might need to make a jump upwards onto the right level so watch for that in the wall if going through the cracked opening.
6. Once you've done all 4 pillar's flaming rings, and all the corner's flaming rings, the center pillar should open up underneath and provide several plates you can now use to jump up inside the pillar's first room.
7. In this room, you must now stand on all 4 corner plates. Only one is flaming at first, but they will all start flaming as they are stood on at the same time! The first two are diagonal, and the last two are diagonal from each other.
8. If doing this with Loki, you will need to get your Specter standing still on one corner, activate your decoy on another corner, then use your Focus ability to go to the last corner. Make sure you are quick with your Focus because you will need almost all the Focus time to unlock the next room upwards! If done correctly, the room upstairs should unlock.

Cunning Test Room -- Not required! This one is completed already during the Second Dream Quest!
The only major requirement is to be very good at dodging FAST! And bring along health/energy restores. I believe I tested that Loki's Decoy DOES NOT distract the Eye unfortunately. I have not tested Focus ability however and that 'might' be a good choice!
How to recognize:

How to recognize:
http://vignette2.wikia.nocookie.net/warframe/images/9/99/Cun... is a small square room with very high walls, and 4 small pillars in a square around the center. There is a death drop around one half of room, and a few platforms you can jump up to safely around the other side. There is a flaming circle in the middle that will only appear AFTER you start the test.
To do this test:
1. To start the test, you shoot off two little buttons on the drop side of the room. There are two water tubes coming down, and two little buttons approximately above head height that when shot off restore the flow of water. The Security Eye will start attacking you! You also need to shoot off 4 little buttons on the floor on the outside of each small pillar that allow a little platform to raise, and you can do these first.
2. You need to jump on the four small pillars, wait for the Security Eye to come very close, then evade his shot so that he breaks the glass behind where you were standing which only happens if you were in line with the glass and he completely misses you.
3. Once the Eye does it once, the Eye goes back to the center and launches an attack that could be one of several: A. very powerful explosive attacks that launch upwards and come down around the room; B. A gravity like attack that pulls you towards the center and damages you more towards the center. C. It can also leave behind a very annoying murky floating liquid in spots of the air that is very damaging as well! However, you can generally avoid all these attacks by standing up on one of the platforms, but make sure everyone DOES NOT leave the room or the puzzle resets.
4. The Eye's main Attack is VERY devastating, and will quickly kill you unless you have extremely high health as it does massive slash damage repeatedly to you after you're hit. Health Restores can help negate the effect but it's very easy to go down quickly and often if you aren't fast.
5. Once the Eye has returned to his teleporting phase, stand on another pedestal and repeat 3 more times..
6. The test finishes after the 4th glass has been broken, and the center floor of the room opens revealing a spiral staircase. Go down, enter the galaxy portal and enjoy your new Cunning Drift Mod!

Endurance Test Room
Solo this test is very annoying and will require a great deal of shield/health restores. Coop it's possible, 4 players is the best, and if you have Limbo it's a cakewalk using Limbo's banish ability on another player who then stands in the center(Thanks Nitefalcon!). Rhino/Valkyr are both good at tanking with high shield and health mods.

http://vignette3.wikia.nocookie.net/warframe/images/8/8e/End... puzzle is usually at one end of a long very tall hallway. It's a very large flaming circle that matches the edge of a large circular platform at the second level in the room. There are also two very tall glass tubes close to the circle and towards the hallway/room. Do NOT step in the flame circle until ready!
To do this test:
1. Stepping into the flaming circle will start the puzzle, so do not do that until you know what to do first! This test CAN be failed so know what is happening.
2. What happens: Stepping into the flaming circle will lower the platform to the lower level, at which point a circle of lasers will turn on and start spinning while shooting the tiny pedestal in the center of the circle. Also, more lasers will shine down from 3 other directions at the end of the room. You must stand on the center pedestal or the lasers will destroy it and ruin the test.
3. You can disable the spinning circle lasers by shooting the backside of them--the Synoid Simulor or other explosive weapons work great here! You can also disable the center laser that shines down by shooting down the chandelier in the room past the end-wall--look up and find the room with a giant hanging chandelier and shoot it until it falls and it will block a laser. If you have enough people, you can also have someone stand next to each proximity activated block on each side which will each block another laser. Players can stand there and shoot the backs of the spinning lasers down below as well.
4. With as many lasers blocked as possible, and very good communication, you can swap out whoever is standing in the center and keep the center pedestal depressed and the test progressing!
5. You can tell if the test is progressing if water is filling the left glass tube; water needs to fill it to the top for the puzzle to complete. If the water is not filling, make sure you are standing on the very center of the pedestal or close to it to activate the water.
6. The problem with this puzzle is that entering the circle while the test is running will disable any warframe abilities, whether active or attempted use. Therefore only high shield/health and shield/health restores, or many players taking turns, or something like Limbo's Banish ability are effective to complete the test before the center pedestal is destroyed.
7. Once the water reaches the top, the gong sounds, and the center of the test opens up.
8. Enter the galaxy portal and enjoy your new Endurance Drift Mod!
I personally had the best success using a Valkyr with max health/armor mods because armor greatly helps survive the test. That was before I knew about the Limbo Banish method!

How to recognize:
This is a medium sized round room with a large open arched rotunda in the center. There are 4 shiny gray spheres set in the walls in a square. There is a common version of this room in Moon missions where it is all in ruins, so this will probably be a familiar room.
To do this test:
1. You simply need to stand next to the gray spheres set in the walls and allow them to syphon off your energy via what looks like a electrical bolt connection. If you run out of energy you can use an energy restore.
2. If the sphere keeps glowing and spinning and the electrical connection has disappeared, go to the next sphere and repeat.
3. If doing this with multiple people, I believe each person must feed each sphere with some energy.
4. Feed all 4 spheres with energy, and when they are all spinning and glowing at the same time you should here the test completion sound and the center should open up!
5. Go down the spiral staircase, through the galaxy portal, and enjoy your new Power Drift mod!

Quite easy now! Used to be very difficult and could be failed very easily. PLEASE PLEASE let me know if this method does not work anymore!! Also if trying to do this legitimately, do NOT use explosive area effect weapons or abilities around this test!

How to recognize:
This test is VERY distinctive on the radar especially if you have the full screen radar activated. On the map it looks like two long poles with regular bumps off each side that perpendicularly cross the map path you're on. Once looking at the room, you'll notice two thumping gold globes in the anteroom, and one wall with have a LOT of laser holes and the other wall a LOT of plates. As far as I know, you shouldn't destroy ANYTHING in this room of trying to do it legitimately. There will also be a trigger plate high up on several walls--two in the main center room on both sides where you enter the main room, and more trigger plates in the little off shoot paths as well as pressure sensing pads in the side passageways--watch out for accidentally stepping on those!
To do this test:
1. There are two different ways, you can do it legitimately or completely cheese it.
2. A. Legit method: you need to run as fast as you can clockwise through each half of the test; one half has thumpers and downwards closing doors, and the other half has freezing sections and downwards closing doors. To start each side, you are supposed to step on the starting pad(possibly shoot the trigger plate above the door before entering), and sprint through the section VERY fast without a door closing in front of you. When you get out, you shoot the trigger plate above the wall that's facing the exit door, and that's one half completed.
B. Do the same thing on the other half not forgetting to shoot the trigger plate when finished that half, and a center pillar in the main room should rise upwards and the ceiling should open.
C. Jump on top of the pillar, and up into the galaxy portal... enjoy your new Speed Drift mod!
3. Cheese method!
A. Apparently, all you have to do is start the speed test sections, then don't run into each side, instead let it fail. Then go to where each half's trigger plate is up on the wall and wall hang/slide/wall walk across the plates. That should trigger the center platform. Keep on wall hanging/walking/sliding on all the plates until the center rises high enough and the ceiling opens!
B. Climb up the pillar, go through the portal and enjoy your new Speed Drift mod!

Stealth Test Room
This test can be VERY easy if doing with at least one other person, warframes don't matter. Doing solo can be quite frustrating and easy to fail.
How to recognize:
To do this test:
How to recognize:
This one is recognizable by the flaming circle in a medium to small room with a tall rotunda with very large arches and narrow pillars, in the center. The flaming circle is under the rotunda, and there's not much else in the room. The room is fairly white. Outside of the room, there is a long room, with several levels and many various objects/walls/pathways to the other end, where there are several doors, and then another room on the other side of the end wall at the end of which is another location similar to the first rotunda with the flaming circle. DO NOT step in the circle until you are ready!
To do this test:
1. With one person you have to step in the first flame, at which point the flame disappears and many things activate.
2. You now have to travel through the entire length of the first and second rooms to the other rotunda without being hit by any of the special lasers or objects. It is possible to take some side passages to quite easily get to the other end, but be careful about going too far away from the test!
3. If you have done it without being contacting by any of the traps, there should be a flaming circle at the other end, which when you step in will complete the test and you now have access to another galaxy portal.
4. Step in, and enjoy your new Stealth Drift mod!
5. To do this very easily with 2 or more people, simply have someone stand on the ending circle platform under the rotunda, and then have someone step on the starting platform.6. The test instantly finishes and you can go down to collect your Stealth Drift mod without any problems at all!

anyone ever figure out how to get this achievement to pop? I have done all of them multiple times (except speed only once) and my achievement tracker still says 57%. When I finished speed I had an in-game notification come up and say that I was at 6/7. Thanks.
Edit: it finally did pop. I had just done agility again solo.... not sure if that had anything at all to do with it though.

Speed test is tough with most frames but Limbo's passive ability plus some speed mods made it easy and he's great for the Stealth test for the same reasons. Titania and her Razorwing ability is the best all around choice for Lua runs though.
Update 10/23: I'm doing tests again for a Nightwave challenge and I swear at least 1/3 or more of the Copernicus runs don't have a test room at all. They're big enough to be conspicuous on the map and in my experience they are always on the main path from start to extraction so I'm very sure I'm not simply missing them.
Update 12/23: At some point in the 2nd half of 2023, the Endurance test was patched to disable operator mode while standing on the platform but using an Adaptation mod allowed the not very tough Titania to weather the test without even her shields being fully depleted.

I did one test where you had to have people stand on spots. We only did it with 2 people. Loki's Decoy counts as another person.
Just a pro tip.

Also what tests are on which missions?

Yes, it does show progress as you get them. However, you would have to keep a track of which ones you get yourself as far as I know.

Oh, good question! They are completely random, once you have the moon missions unlocked on Earth, from my experience it's absolutely random what Test rooms you get.

What mission type did you do for the Speed test? Was just in a group running MD and quiting if we didn't get it one we needed and Speed never came up once

By Hybridchld on 08 Apr 2016 03:07
With 3 consoles per mission and counting the 10 or so missions we ran before we starting quitting or that had the ones we needed thats about 180 spawn chances and not one of them was the speed test

Ok an update on getting Speed in MD. It's my belief that the speed test does not spawn in Mobile Defence.
The test rooms only spawn as the console rooms in MD and there really is no where suitable for a console location in the speed test room.
Backing this up is 5 hours of running MD looking for the room without a single spawn and 2 hours of running Crossfire with 4 spawns.
Not conclusive by any means but pretty weighted circumstantial evidence

@The Allslayer, can you please explain how you can solo a part that requires 4 people/ghosts/focus/decoys? I can only think of Loki's decoy + Focus + Loki... ?

By Shadow 00 Fox on 09 Apr 2016 06:35
You can solo Coaction by popping a Spector once you're in the area with 4 plates and getting it to hold position on one. Then the Loki, Decoy and Focus on the other 3

By Hybridchld on 09 Apr 2016 07:41
^whs Also you can skip it entirely by placing your decoy above and switch teleporting, very difficult to find the right spot though. I managed to get in the room with the 4 plates doing that but couldn't do the next one (it can be done though) so I just did what Hybrid said.

@Fooga yes you can. I got a friend of mine Power Drift awhile back, once you're in the mission everything works fine.
That said you need to complete Second Dream for the focus achievement and you really should try get it done ASAP anyway

Are you sure that works? I had tried previously with someone who hadn't done Second Dream at all and didn't have the moon missions available and they couldn't join the mission as all--possibly updated?

Just an alternative method for those struggling with the speed test.
Bring a nova frame.
Make it to at least the last door before they shut. (That's failure as far as I can tell. )
Do the other side and fail.
Both plates are blue and don't trigger when shot.
Nova has a small bubble bomb. Have her shoot the plates once or twice with it.
The plate should then trigger.
This may work with explosive weaponry, but I haven't tested it.

!!!! I've been wondering about that myself but didn't put it in the solution because I thought it might've been a glitch and I could never confirm it yet!! I've been wondering if it's possible to completely cheat the speed test doing something like that... simply start the test, fail the test, go around and shoot the opposite side of the wall with something explosive like the Synoid Simulor to trigger that plate, and do the same thing on the other side?? I just might have to try it out.

I wish I had known it was the room with all the lasers. Every video guide on YouTube starts with them all destroyed, so the whole time I thought there were just burns everywhere. When I did the stealth test I remember quickly air dashing through the room to extract. Haven't seen it again since.

You should add that as a part of Second Dream, there is a cunning test during the part where you free the moon. I did this part of the quest and the counter popped up saying that I had 1/7 for the achievement, and the percentage went up in the achievement tab as well.

By IllegallySam on 29 Apr 2016 01:57
I had this reported from someone else, but was unsure exactly what affected it; apparently you don't even have to do the cunning test after finishing Second Dream if you hadn't done Second Dream before the achievements came out!

The RNG on these is total dog -expletive-. I got the Speed room once, and the random player in my game caused one of the panels to get stuck prior to "activating". So it was triggered but it didn't unlock the door for the Speed test.
Now here I am 50+ runs later and I haven't seen the Speed room again. I'm getting real fed up with RNG screwing me over. I've run into each of the other six rooms at least thrice since I've laid eyes on a Speed room. Utterly ridiculous. I see now why the ratio is so high.

I haven't found the speed room once. It's a little annoying cause I've run it about 50 times. I've played the capture mission and the crossfire mission. Is there one that's better than the other?

By studlybambi on 06 Jun 2016 03:21
Apparently Capture has a better chance to spawn speed, but truthfully I think it's all random. Just keep running whatever moon mission is easiest for you and it'll pop up eventually.

Yin, which game mode are you using,... Capture? Capture has seemed better, but it really is RNG Capture's better overall though because no Sentients!
Also, with the speed test, you can cheat it completely if you know how!

I did finally manage to run into a Speed room; I had dropped the players I was running with because I got tired of wasting 1-2 minutes a run because they were slow to the end and/or wouldn't accept the mission vote.
I can confirm that all seven rooms appear in Capture (while I was looking for the speed room a second time, I hit all six of the other tests at least three times each). But yes, Capture is the only mission type I ran.
You may be able to complete Coaction solo if you use have Spectres and a Loki. You can use a Spectre on point one, Loki's copy ability on number two, Loki themself on number three, and then you can use your operator's ability (your fifth power from the Second Dream) to press the fourth. I don't know if that will work though, just throwing out a potential solution.

In your experience is the speed room on the normal course to the end of the level? Or do I need to check the side rooms and make sure that I check the whole level?

By studlybambi on 15 Jun 2016 14:32
So from my experience the rooms are in the normal course of the level. If you go to the objectives you will find the rooms on the way. I finally got the speed room and the wall panels glitched on me and I had to wall run/jump on them to get them to trigger. It's a grind, but so is the rest of warframe. It's a great game. Time to take a break now

Edit:
Is there any way to post an xbox dvr vid to the comment section? I can show some footage of me and my buddy doing it if it helps at all

And to post a video, pretend you're making a solution, a button should be available then to view xbox vids, select the one you want, then copy/paste the link into here. That should work.

Just to add... loki's speed challenge glitch no longer works as of 30/4/17.

Shadow 00 Fox I can confirm that blasting the walls still works for the speed test as of 6/8/2017. I used a Kulstar in my sidearm slot. Just need 3 more (power, coaction, and endurance) which sadly 2 need allies.

Thank-you for the update on that! It's kinda hilarious that it works but is SOOO good because the speed test spawns so rarely. :-/
At least you have the super easy power test room left!

Sentient fights are way easier if you've completed The War Within. Use the Operator's fire (+, then ) to strip them of resistances.

That's an amazing tip... I never even thought of doing anything like that! Of course, I haven't played much since that update either. ;-) I'll try to find a good place to add that tip.

And for those who have done The War Within: Putting your Warframe on the pedestal at the Endurance test and switching to operator mode makes the entire test a joke since your frame is invincible in that mode.

Hi Shadow, it's obviously not counting one of them which does happen. Did you happen to watch your achievement tracker each time you did one and see if it moved?

That's bad. Unfortunately, I have no idea what to say... other than, there have been some reported glitches with achievements in the last couple months, like the Kubrow ones not working. That's all I can think of.

I hear that Arkham, done the Agility Room 7 times now still no Achievement. Instead of worrying about about bringing out new stuff the Developers should fix what's already in the game

These are all pretty easy solo’s now, some (looking at you Agility Test lol) may require a little time and practice. Loki swept them all but speed which I used Rhino for to resist knockdowns on that first speed course.

So this finally unlocked for me. I think the Agility test may be a single person completion. I know i did it multiple time in a group but this time i solo'd it and it unlocked. The biggest trick that worked for me was avoid the ground. use a pipe land on the platform, shot target.
Note: the second story did not count as the ground and did not rest my progress.

Popped fine on my 7th test. Just a note: The stealth test is NOT repeatable and i was getting a glitch where i never saw the blue lasers. On my third try I ended up cheesing it by putting my warframe on the final podium and then activating the initial podium with my operator. Then i killed my operator in yellow lasers and teleported back into my warframe
Overall took me about 40 runs (if i hadn’t botched so many trials this would’ve been closer to 25) to get them all doing exclusively copernicus.

Agility: Tad bit tricky though managed, hope you can wall jump and stay on point.
Vocation: Get two different (walking) specters and you’re good.
Cunning: Did this with no guide and managed though may be tricky.
Endurance: Limbo or get an Adaptation mod for no more than 10 Plat.
Power test: Get 200 power and distribute evenly. Simple.
Speed Teat: Just get a bullet jump mod and you’re good.
Stealth: Before stepping on the start, get to the end plate and plant your frame and use the operator to run to the start. Easy.
I did Capture to get all rooms to show up.

So if i fail a test does it just reset or do you need to spawn the room again? Want clarification before i attempt these

Endurance, Stealth, and Speed tests can fail. The rest just reset from what I've experienced. Speed test can be cheated.. Endurance is a very common spawn from my experience :-)

Just to give you an idea.. me and my friend RedCobra must've done nearly 35+ missions total, with about the last 25 straight going for Speed Drift. We did the Crossfire moon mission on Earth repeatedly. We started just sprinting to the finish looking for the right tilesets we needed, and for Speed only finally. Speed is definitely rarest! I like Crossfire because if you find one you need, you can just kill all the enemies and have the mission 'done', then you won't be bothered at all while doing the puzzle. Maybe MD works just as well?

We ran MD because the only place the test rooms can spawn in MD missions is at the consoles so it's an easy search. It look us about 90 minutes to get the other 6 and then another two and a half hours of running through the map looking for Speed. When we didn't find it we'd quit out.
By the time we called it quits we where doing 3-4 runs every 10 minutes so averaging that out is about 20 an hour and we did 2 and half hours so probably 50 runs of just looking for Speed!
Basically the spawn rate on it is terrible either way but it may be different for different game types. Unfortunatly I don't have the time to test it beyond that.

Shadow: yes you can get the mod after you failed as long as you activate the (yup I'm gonna say it) Stargate.
I've found ways around the speed and endurance tests. Also found a nice trick on the agility test. Will comment if I get time to verify.

Everyone always says to bring a speed frame, but I think the best frame for the speed test is Rhino. His Iron Skin ability makes him immune to all kinds of damage. He also can't be stunned or knocked down while it's active. Equipped with speed mods, he can be just as fast as the fastest frames. Using him, the speed test was a total breeze!
Also, I was able to get all 7 of the rooms to spawn in the Copernicus capture mission relatively quickly. Capture missions can be completed in as little as a minute and a half, so the fastest way to get the rooms to spawn is just to play capture over and over, just dashing for the exit if you don't see any test rooms. They're always centrally located and easy to spot, so you don't really need to go out of your way as you're heading for the exit. Much better than wasting a lot of time in mobile defense, extermination, etc.

Hey, not sure if you're still updating this, but a buddy and I found a SUPER easy way to do the endurance test. All you need is 2 people, one of which is Limbo. Literally all you do is banish the person standing in the middle of the lasers, and profit. No need to shoot the lasers. You may have to banish the person twice or thrice depending on your duration. We did this 3 times and it worked every time.

Sorry for the lateness, but Banish is Limbo's first ability, so you can use it as soon as you get him, but keep in mind leveling up the frame will make his banish ability better. I have a video here of my Valkyr getting banished by my buddy. Ignore the part of me almost dying, he missed a couple times when banish ran out

Hmm, thanks for the update-- I myself happened to come across this one after this most recent update and was able to cheese it somehow using explosive weapons. So perhaps, if the cheesy method of walking across the plates doesn't work, just shoot something explosive at the wall where the plates are? (I was using the Synoid Simulor). I shot everywhere after failing one half, and it suddenly completed the puzzle so I don't know exactly what did it. I was trying to shoot so the explosive effect would go through the wall on the side I didn't make it through to hit the plate you're supposed to shoot normally--so that explosive method prob still works then?

That's really frustrating. This achievement has been very glitchy over time also for lots of other people too. Wondering.... is your xbox on fast turn on? It probably isn't related, but I had problems with a different game once because the fast turn on wasn't allowing the game to properly load/save my profile... maybe?!

The Speed test room challenge has a rare chance of spawning. As of April 4, 2017, the best place for this test to spawn on Lua is Plato, the exterminate mission.
If all you are looking for is the speed test, go to Plato and speed run through the tileset. If you don't find it, abort and redo the mission. You may have to do this dozens to fifty or more times, so the abort method will speed things up.
To find the test room, you start by finding a room (approximately 50 feet square, 15.24 meters), with two thumper orbs and laser discs on the left and right hand walls. There are maybe ten or more laser discs on each wall. There will be a disc straight up on the far wall from where you enter. To trigger the two areas that you need to run through, shoot that disc across from you.
Now turn around and you will see a hallway to the right and left. Choose one, stand on the pressure plate and get through the course. If you fail, you can repeat each of the two courses, as long as you don't leave the area where the pressure plate is. This is a good thing, because getting this room to spawn is the biggest challenge.
Once you complete the first course (one has ice and cold, the other has thumper orbs), go across the main area to the other side and do the second course.
When you have completed both courses, go back to the laser and thumper orb room. Bunny hop your way up the pillar that has now risen toward the ceiling. Stand on top of the pillar and bullet jump into the room that takes you to the where you retrieve the drift mod.
Also, do not use syndicate weapons with an area of effect proc, or weapons like the Sonicor when you identify that the speed test room has appeared. These types of weapons can trigger the pressure plates prematurely and you can fail the test if this happens. I took a Braton Prime as my non-AOE weapon, and a Sonicor. There are reports of non-responsive exit wall discs. If you get glitched in one of the courses and the disc on the wall does not respond, a Sonicor or Ignis can get you out. Shoot at the wall and this can trigger the exit.

I don't think you read my solution about the Speed Test, because you're incorrect about being worried about using blast weapons. You can completely cheat the test using explosive/etc type weapons.
