How to unlock the Dream Team achievement in Warhammer 40,000: Darktide - Definitive Guide
To save time you should aim to complete this before you have all four characters at level 30 as that way you kill two birds with one stone and the experience isn't lost. Running hours of low level missions which all your characters are already level 30 would be a chore to say the least.
Playing a single character entirely on Sedition or Uprising (assuming you manage most games without a bot down, which should be easy on either difficulty) will get you most of the way there, around 60 games without a down most likely. I have seen several accounts with all 4 character at level 30 with between 14 and 40 games without downs, so leaving this to the last character you level should be fine. (Personally I had 31, playing mostly on Malice from level 8-10 and Heresy whenever I could find a game, which at the time of writing isn't often). Judge yourself how far along your are, note that there is no in game tracker but the xbox achievement does track the number and TA will also update this when you unlock any other achievement.
I have confirmed that playing with bots counts, as does anything that doesn't reduce you to zero health including Hounds, Mutants and recovering from ledges (this happens frustratingly often with bots so it good to know)
I haven't personally confirmed that joining an in progress game or that crashes and rejoins count but others have stated that they do.

I can in here to emphasize that you cannot join mid-match (even if you join right at the beginning) and get credit for no downs. Wish I knew that before I got most of my characters over level 20. You need see the opening animation where you and your three teammates are walking together to ensure you get credit (though as longs as combat doesn't start, you should be ok)
(EDIT: Previously, I had that you had to be on the ready-up screen before, this is not true, you can join after the ready-up screen but before combat begins and be ok. Seeing the opening animation guarantees you will get credit)
But since I'm here I'll address the above comment -- if you play public matches (and you will if you don't have a partner), you'll get stuck with a lot of inexperienced and/or low-level characters in Sedition/Uprising, who can very easily die to a Toxic Flamer or Pox Bursters. As well, I can't count how many "non-death runs" were ruined by over-zealous Psychers (we're all at full heath, then someone randomly drops dead), much less ones ruined by an over-enthusiastic speed runner(s).
EDIT 2: Having played for awhile now, it looks like the game tries to link people together of the same "power level", aka the sum of added gear scores. Therein, when you start out, you'll be matched up with low level/new players, so its VERY hard to get a perfect completion with these individuals. As you level up however, you'll be linked with higher powered players, so getting this achievement gets easier.
(So if grinding this, make sure to grind with a level 30 character or relatively close to up your chances of getting an experienced team.)
I know the above, as I just started a new character recently, and I forgot how bad it can be at low power levels. So much nicer at higher power levels, trust me.
