How to unlock the Fully Prepared achievement in Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader - Definitive Guide

Spoilers for the beginning of Act 3.

After you wake up in a pile of bodies after the "trial" you'll start with 4 blue debuffs and one Fresh Injury. Look around the area to find perception checks. If you pass the check you'll find various items, the ones you're looking for are Stimms which will heal one trauma each. Not sure if it's a bug or not but I only needed 3 Stimms, leaving me with the Fresh Injury and one blue debuff called A Hundred Wounds. The Hundred Wounds doesn't seem like it can be removed as I had a fourth Stimm but it didn't have an effect. I also found a Battle Stimulator Medikit for the Fresh Injury but I couldn't use it so it seems like it intentionally doesn't count toward the achievement.

Sorry, I was working from memory when I typed up the solution. If I remember correctly, you'll start on a triangular platform and for the purposes of direction let's say the bottom of the triangle is south and the camera is pointed north. There should be a pile of trash at the bottom of the stairs on either side of the triangle. Going up the stairs to the west there should be another pile on the left and one on the right (it should be under a piece of scenery that is a chute for bodies, that's where I got the melta charge. One said chute there should be a body that you can use a skill check to shoot at if you were given the weapon by the Harlequin. The body will disappear if you fail the check but will drop to where you woke up if you pass. Up the eastern stairs there should be a pile along the walkway that leads to the elevator and portal with another pile in the corner of the platform that has the elevator and portal. There might also be one near the Ugly Beggar (I think that was his title). I can't remember what the specific skill checks were, I just kept reloading and hoping for the best, saving every time I passed. There might also be one on a corpse at the top of the ramp to the west. You'll see two NPCs talking and one tries to make a run for it before getting killed, there might have been a stimm on his body.

The one other tip I could say is, if you don't know, hitting the button that has the two boxes (back, select, whatever it's called) will highlight everything that can be interacted with, though the stuff that requires passing a skill check to see is only highlighted after passing said skill check.

Can you get a Stim from each Skill check spot?

Some spots have other items like Melta Charges. Pretty sure they're static so they're going to be the same items every time. I ended up with 4 Stimms and only needed 3.

Weird. I re-specced before the Chasm for a high Awareness character, and yet I have only found 2 Stimms despite re-loading multiple times.

For the purposes of the guide (and others like me), it would be really helpful to know which Skill check areas can have Stimms and which have other items. Thanks for the reply, KE7.

Odd. A few times I forgot to save so I had to redo one or two piles for those times but when I got the check to succeed again I got the same items that I had before. Maybe it rolls area loot when it loads the area instead of for each time you open the container? Let's hope it's designed so it automatically include an appropriate number of Stimms cause it'd suck to overwrite your save without knowing and be stuck either ignoring the achievement or having to replay the campaign again.

Just got it to unlock: I re-specced with as much Awareness (for the Skill Check) and Perception (to see the Checks) as possible.

It seems the Checks aren't static, as I thought. Basically, any that can be a Health Item can possibly be a Stimm, Skin Patch, Gladiator's Item or Medkit. Other spots just have Consumables like Melta Charges, Multikeys, etc.

So, you will want to re-roll what you get since there are a finite number of Checks until you end up with 3 Stimms. I had less luck at some spots, which seemed to cycle between Medkits or other items. This is obviously much easier to do with high Awareness, so it's recommended to SAVE before entering the voidship at the Hundred Dreams Crossing, respec at the Bridge before proceeding.

Skip on the easy way, the trick is that when, after torture, you end up in the Camorra at the beginning of the third chapter, next to you there will be heaps of corpses and all sorts of garbage in which, using observation, you can find all sorts of goodies, including the first aid kits necessary for the trophy. So, if you mess up and fail the observation check, you will not have the necessary first aid kits to complete this achievement. So we save, loot heaps of garbage, it didn’t work, we reboot. We treat all 4 injuries, only “Hundred Wounds” will remain and then move on. Well, of course, he should have the skill to use first aid kits.

In fact, you need syringes on which it will be written that they are treating 1 injury.
