How to unlock the Master of Convergence achievement in Warhammer: Vermintide 2 - Definitive Guide

The first step which is not part of the guide is to get to the end of the map on ACT II Athel Yenlui on LEGEND Difficulty. How you do that is entirely up to you:

Play legit

(fudge) Play through on your best character, after reaching the end everyone except the host can leave and rejoin as one of the needed characters.

(cheese) Have the Ranger Dwarf use smoke bomb glitch (will be patched soon) to end of map and then invite group in.

Required characters: Shade Kerillian, Ranger Veteran Bardin, Huntsman Markus Kruber

Once you reach the Leylines, kill the few remaining vermin and then nothing will spawn until one of the wheels is activated. So NO practicing. With that being said it is helpful to make sure each person understands completely on what they are looking at and supposed to do.
So, looking into the the pit there is a big wheel in the middle and 3 ramps with posts to activate to spin wheels and ALL WHEELS WILL SPIN COUNTER CLOCKWISE and THE WHEELS WILL NOT AUTOMATICALLY STOP AT THE CHECKPOINT, so if you pass the check mark, you will have to do another full spin which will result in failing the achievement.

The post on the left will spin the outermost ring.
The post in the middle will spin the middle ring.
The post on the right will spin the innermost ring.

With the 3 stealth characters (Shade, Ranger Dwarf, Huntsman) standing on each post and looking at the circle, you should view it like a clock: Straight out from your view is 12 0'clock and at your feet is 6 o'clock.

The Left post, outer ring should note that the outer completion tick marks are at 11 & 2 o'clock & the outer wheel tick marks are at the 1 & 10 o'clock positions. This person should focus on the 10 o'clock mark and will spin it almost a complete turn and stop on the outer tick mark in the 11 o'clock position.

The middle post controlling the middle ring should note, from their view, the completion tick marks are at the 11 & 7 o'clock position & the middle ring marks are at the 11 & 6 o'clock positions. This person should focus on the 6 and spin it almost a complete turn to the 7 o'clock position.

The right post controlling the innermost ring should note from their view the completion tick marks are at the 7 & 3 o'clock position & the ring marks are at 1 & 4 o'clock position. This person should focus on the 1 and spin it around to the 3 o'clock position.

Now that everyone knows their objective, its time to get to business. Start a countdown so all 3 rings are started at the same time by holding down the X Button. Once one of the persons sees vermin getting near the person on the opposing post, all players should activate their stealth special by tapping LB. Note: it is not uncommon to take a hit or two while in stealth. So, keep focused on the objective and press & hold X again if your ring spin stops prematurely from the the sucker punch. After all 3 rings line up to the outermost tick marks glowing in blue, less than 30 secs, the achievement will pop immediately.

Map completion is not required for the achievement but is required to complete your book challenges and chest collection.

Your guide does not clarify if this must be done on the Legend difficulty. Please confirm and reiterate that in your guide if it is true. If not, then explain that we can do on recruit difficulty

The Achievement starts with the word "Legend", so my guess would be that it can only be done on legend just like the other 12 LEGEND Achievements.

The guide also doesn't state that you need to the XBOX ON.

It could have been that it's a "legendary" achievement due to its difficulty, not necessarily that it has to be done in Legend but ok...

Where do I get info on the "smoke bomb" glitch?

Unfortunately, the smoke bomb glitch has been long ago patched. I've helped so many people to get the majority of their legendary achievements done using that glitch. It was nice while it lasted.

That's for the edit! Will try this out next week-ish and report back.

Ok, that was much more than a week, but we followed the above and finally got the achievement. A few extra notes:

Our shade had no problem with going invisible and spinning the wheel into position unmolested. Same with our Ranger Veteran. Our Hunter however had issues the first attempt, and we wiped as his invisibility only lasts six seconds, and the wheel takes about 10-12 seconds to turn into position

As such, I would recommend a few things to make it a bit easier:

One, make sure your Huntsman has a Conc potion on hand, this way he can go double invisible well within the 30 second time limit (Concs for Shade and RV can't hurt either, but it a definite plus for the Huntsman).

Two, you can spin the wheels for 4-5 seconds before the mobs get near you. Because of this, you can trigger you ability at second 5 instead of second 0 and give yourself a little more wiggle room to get the wheels into position in time.

Three, you'll be under pressure when turning the wheels. As such, irs REALLY easy to overshoot your mark. To prevent this, try stopping just a bit short of your target -- often, it will move forward and click into position anyway. Even if it doesn't, you can easily tap it into position. Better this that another complete turn of the wheel.

To complete this, you will need at least 3 living bodies, ideally 4. As soon as you jump off, distribute the switches between the three players, who will turn which one, the 4th aggregation of mobs in the center, if possible, rush to defeat the player with the most mobs. (To simplify, we take invisible ones Persians and turn from invis to gnome ag)

Also helps:
1. Stand on the very edge of the texture, this will make it more difficult for mobs to approach you
2. Do not turn on Inviz right away and keep it until the last minute, as soon as you are going to receive damage from mobs
3. The 2nd Kruber with his short ult goes to the left, small ring. Shade and 1st gnome - no difference
