How to unlock the What we do in the shadows achievement in World of Van Helsing: Deathtrap - Definitive Guide
Now that the achievement has been patched, it actually unlocks on Tier 2 maps.
I used map 3 on Tier 2, Forest of the Fallen.
My Marksman was level 24 with World Skills :
Mark of Craftsman 10 pts
Mark of Keeper 10 pts
Archers
Steel Arrows 5 pts
Organized Reinforcements 5 pts
Creature Limit 3 stars
Gun Sentry
Upgrades if you wish but not necessary
Set up the summon traps with archers and purchase the Pillars of Rejuvenation (Healing Aura) that is close to them starting at the top of the map where the enemies spawn. Also purchase the Gun Sentries that are nearby to help out the archers. Start purchasing archers and healing columns further down until you run out of essence. I started the map with 1000 essence
After the wave is over, purchase more archers and healing towers. The first two waves come from the top. Wave three adds enemies on the right and wave four adds enemies on the left.
It doesn't matter if one or two enemies go through the gate, you don't have to do it flawlessly.
Included is a screenshot of my initial setup of defenses. The lightening bolts are the healing pillars, the monster eyes are the archers, and the triangles are the sentry guns.
Update: Pystynen let me know your spells could be used, I.E. overdrive and enfeeblement.
Update 2: According to StevesTurn, "This can be done in coop, and the coop partner can do as much damage as they want". I haven't tried it personally, but hopefully co-op players will find success with this strategy.

You can use your spells. I used overdrive and enfeeblement many times.

For this achievement, you'll use the same strategy as we did for "Can't touch this" except you want to make sure you never use a direct attack on an enemy, and you CAN take damage. There are two very helpful skills the Marksman has to make use of. Trap Boost will make a trap do more damage for a short time, while Essence Trap Sigil will grant more essence for kills done by traps in a small radius for a short time. Use those together in one of the high traffic areas to get a ton of essence quickly which will allow you to build up the traps and easily handle all the mobs without needing to get involved yourself.
