How to unlock the Tooled Up achievement in Worms Rumble - Definitive Guide

Weapon Locations

Red Crate
Hammerhead
Sheep Launcher
Plasma Launcher
Holy Hand Grenade
Banana Bomb

Blue Crate
Bazooka
Rocket Shield
Plasma Launcher
Sentry Launcher
Banana Bomb
Frag Grenade

Green Crate
Bazooka
Shotgun
Hand Cannon
Assault Rifle
Frag Grenade
Banana Bomb

My tip is go to last Worm Standing, pick up the crate you needed as Spawn location and if the crate drops the weapon you needed. Just Equip the weapon and hide in a Vent. I get with this Method around 500-1000 XP. The only one you need to Damage/Kills to get to LVL 10 is the Bat (For that, I would take death match and a shield)

Progress can be shown in the Main Menu

Just a quick guide on the XP required for this and how it seems the XP is distributed.

Earning XP for weapons, all max at 500XP per item therefore the max you can get a game per weapon is 1,500xp, this seems to have changed recently:

50xp per elimination
1xp per unit of damage
1xp/5xp per second for time holding weapon (seems like 5xp per second in last worm standing and deathmatch is now 1xp per second).

Note: From my observations you do not get XP for holding bat so thats just damage and elims.

XP needed for each weapons is as follows:

1 - 1200
2 - 1600
3 - 2000
4 - 2800
5 - 3600
6 - 4400
7 - 5200
8 - 6000
9 - 6800
10 - 7600
TOTAL = 41,200 per weapon

You can track your progress on the weapons stat page.

Ranking up the weapons makes the game easier? Or is it just cosmetic things.

Just cosmetic

It is my experience that "useful" but not destructive weapons like the rocket shield and sentry fall behind on other weapons due to the difficulty in racking up kills with them. If you are starting out try to prioritise using these as much as possible.

Play the “last squad” mode, there are a lot of boxes and you can always find a bunch of weapons and quickly upgrade them.
one minute of carrying a weapon - 150 experience
one kill - 50 experience
+ experience from damage
you can get ~600-700 experience
It all depends on your skill

150 experience per minute of wearing is not given in a death match, most likely only in a team battle and the last worm you can get that much.

Deathmatch mode 12x12. It's the fastest place because of the huge number of boxes and enemies.

Pay attention to the "Laboratory" mode. Sometimes there is an “infinite weapon” mode or only one available weapon (for example, a bat, a plasma gun), which helps to gain a level very quickly on some types of weapons

Some personal observations to help you understand this ridiculous experience system. I immediately advise you to pay attention to the turret launcher and rocket shield; these weapons are the most difficult to deal damage with and they are quite rare. It's easier to level up in the last squad mode. At the very beginning, you can open a bunch of chests. Green chests usually drop small arms and bazookas, blue chests contain weapons with special shells, and red and purple chests have a high chance of getting a hammerhead shark.
The maximum experience for using a weapon (in fact, you just need to hold it in your hands) can be 500xp - this is two minutes of time in the last squad mode. In the same mode, you can more easily gain experience for weapon damage: 1 damage = 1 xp, maximum xp per damage = 200. For destruction with a weapon, 50 xp is given for each worm, the limit is still unknown. Damage to knocked out worms does not count. Also, experience for carrying is sometimes not credited, so double-clicking on the triangle to rotate the weapon often helps.

Very often the “Laboratory” tab appears. So in this mode, 1 type of weapon with endless ammunition is often used. For example, “Rocket Jump” - a bazooka with endless ammunition and a battle to the death mode will make it possible to very quickly upgrade the bazooka, or “Achiever” - all weapons in the death mode at the laboratory with a double clip and endless ammunition.
