How to unlock the Flamingo! achievement in Xbox Fitness - Definitive Guide

I am 99% certain that this is a cumulative achievement from all workouts.

If you view the achievement list through the X1, you'll see a percentage tracker on this one. I was at 94%, I did the workout '10-Minute Solutions - Cardio Kickboxing' and got it while I was jumping rope - not once had I stood on one leg for one full, consecutive minute.

I got this at the end of the p90x workout when I was stretching my quads on one leg, alternating every few seconds.

I agree, it is cumulative, I have a small % from just doing workouts, one of which has some standing on one leg, but not in that position. I'll probably just let it drop naturally.

Can confirm it's cumulative. Got it last night during a short stretch at end of workout.

Yes, it's cumulative. I am at 99% from 90% after one 10min workout... so it should pop next workout!

I've confirmed that you don't even need to be doing something in the workout that requires you to stand on one leg.

Just load up any workout (I did this on the 10 Minute Solutions Cardio Kickboxing workout, which is under the "Rapid Results Fat Burner" group), and stood on one leg after the workout started. You can snap the achievements if you want, to see how much more you need... it will update after you replant your other foot.

And to confirm what Tom RT said, it is indeed cumulative. I started off at 23% and it took about 40 seconds for the achievement to pop.

Had to spend a lot of time adjusting my kinect to get the game to register me doing this, finally got it after standing on one leg for cumulatively for over 3 minutes. Did it on Cardio Kickboxing, which is in the 5 Day Get Fit Mix pack, not Rapid Results Fat Burner.

For anyone stuck on this and can't figure out why, here's what is missing; the counter is, obviously, cumulative, but only counts towards this Achievement when the 2 circles are on your feet....when you see them (normally in the warm-up; try cardio max...it's in the first minute) go to 1 leg; 1 minute of that will pop it.

This just unlocked for me today, doing the Tai Chi for beginners. It is super easy and good for you :)

The first important thing to note for this achievement is that it is cumulative. You don't need to balance for one minute straight without falling to unlock this. The second important thing to note is that you cannot just ignore the workout routine on screen and stand on one leg. This won't work. It will only count when the workout routine is telling you to do this. Therefore the fastest way to unlock this achievement would be with yoga routines that involve balancing on one leg. However, there are multiple routines that involve some jumping and specific points that count as balancing on one leg, even for a second or two. This all adds to the cumulative total and this achievement should unlock naturally while going for the rest.
