This unlocks when reaching the ‘Submarine’ ending in 999.
Just make sure that the third door you go through is door number 2 to trigger it.
In detail, there are six routes you can take to reach that ending. These are:
- Going through door number 4, then 3, then 2.
- Going through door number 4, then 7, then 2.
- Going through door number 4, then 8, then 2.
- Going through door number 5, then 3, then 2.
- Going through door number 5, then 7, then 2.
- Going through door number 5, then 8, then 2.
If this is not your first play-through, you can speed up previously seen cutscenes by pressing cn_X until it says ‘skip’ in the bottom right corner. If you have not seen that particular cutscene before, pressing cn_X will only cycle between ‘stop’ and ‘auto’. The 'skip' mode will stop when player input is required (for dialogue options or choosing doors).

The Submarine Ending is one of the three bad endings in 999. On the flowchart, it is the far right path. To access it, choose door 3 at the 3/7/8 door choice. You can also choose door 2 at the 1/6/2 door choice.
