How to unlock the Defeated UNKNOWN-3 achievement in Zoids Assault - Definitive Guide

On missions 12 and 14, destroy the S-Container on each map, again they have goodies, destroy them all. Now as a forewarning these guys are tough on the second play through they were 12 levels above me. It took me several tries and even when I got it I was lucky.
Mission 14: S-Tiger (Level 42) x3, R-Horn (Level 40) x2

In this mission you have to destroy 80% which I believe is 15 zoids and there are 5 reinforcement waves.

So starting out...
Make sure you have 2 healers equipped with machine guns, your snipers equipped with a satellite lasers and the last guy ( should be #2) with the Admonisher. All zoids should have medium armor on them.

Start by moving the whole group to the left slowly, destroying zoids as you go. Now the first wave of reinforcements should spawn right on top of you. Destroy them and keep moving up along the left side. Make sure to keep your zoids healed. By now your satellite laser should be getting within range of the container, but don't hit it yet. Keep moving up and once you reach the top on the left side start working towards the top center of the map. However leave behind 1 sniper, make sure that they are just within range of the container, that way they can still hit the container and give your main group support. Timing is important here, I believe that the 3rd wave spawns right next to the boss, so you don't want them to spawn at the same time so either avoid taking out more zoids (once you are in the top center) or spawn the third wave and destroy them.

Once you are ready and all units are in place and are relatively healed use your sniper to destroy the container and spawn the boss. Here is where you get lucky. You have to unload on these guys, try to keep your counts to 3 and then use the EMP. With the satellite laser you should have several 2 and 3 counts. After a turns of hammering on them they should be defeated, although... I lost units both times I tried it. The second time I got lucky and was left with my snipers and my strong healer.

Once they are gone, hang on for dear life, you should be pretty weak and down a few units so play it safe, heal up and try to keep your support count high and theirs low.

If you know that you can't win, withdraw and save and try it again. (You keep the experience). If you lose you go back to the start menu.

Now, doing this on playthroughs after the second should make it much easier, I just didn't want to play the whole game more than twice.

On your second playthrough, during Missions 12 and 14, destroy the S-Container on each map. These containers are the crates with the yellow HP bar and are labeled different from normal containters.

Enemies, Mission 14:
S-Tiger (Level 42) x3, R-Horn (Level 40) x2

This mission is a bit tricky as you have to spawn the boss enemies and destroy them before destroying 80% of the normal enemies to end the mission. I personally scraped by and killed one last enemy after all the boss enemies to end the mission. Start by moving toward the S-Container and pick off enemies until the first group of reinforcements spawns. You'll be on top of them, but go ahead and destroy them quickly and then blow up the S-Container to spawn the bosses. Again, hold fast and let them come to you, keep your heals up and focus on them before the normal enemies.

Thanks goes to axela1980, Galaxy28, and Final Crusader for the Unknown Achievement.

Ok the final boss on mission 14 is actually extremely easy if you know how to go about it. All you have to do is go to the location on the upper left that's shown in this youtube video

On the bottom left you want either mace 3 or mace 4 equipped with the satellite laser. Bottom right you want Mace 5 equipped with Repair++, First Aid, and High Repair. His weapon doesn't matter as he won't fire once. Top right you want Mace 1 equipped with a shotgun I used the Bagnak-EXL. Make sure that on Mace 1,3, and 4 you have offensive skills such as Assault++, high power, etc. As per Mace 2 and whichever other mace doesn't make it there you can just let them die. It's also worth noting that all your units should have a movement of 3 and head straight for that spot at the start of the mission. I got this first try with this setup.

Note that when I say top right, bottom left, and bottom right I'm referring to the directions based off the camera angle seen in the video.
