How to unlock the Record Breaker achievement in Age of Empires IV: Anniversary Edition - Definitive Guide
Early Economy
Gold: 5:10. Difficulty: 4/5
First scenario and it's already quite hard. You have literally no time to lose. Order your scout to go north to find another sheep, send it back to your town centre. Queue up your villagers and set the rally point at trees to your right. As soon as the first villager arrives, build a lumber camp next to the forest to your right. Once you hit 8 population, build 2 houses. Wait until you have 6 villagers chopping wood, then build a mining camp and move the rally point for new villagers to gold. Once both sheeps are done move your villagers to the deer location, build a mill and hunt them. Buy a survival techniques tech to help you. Once you get enough resources buy any landmark and order all your units (maybe except the hunting party) to build it. If done correctly you'll have a landmark before hitting your 21 villagers.
The key to this mission is to micro everything. Your town centre cannot be left idle at any point and you should naturally move your villagers without them idling either.
Late Economy
Gold 10:30. Difficulty 3.5/5
Same story as in the first one but easier. You can't leave anything idle and you should use the rally points to help you get stuff done. Build a town centre next to Kremlin and once it's done queue up your villagers (up to 15 over time, don't send everyone there) to cut trees around it. The first town centre should send one more villager to the stone mine and then send villagers to hunt deer and fish. Your market should have a rally point at the market to the south-east. It's now a waiting game really. Build third town centre and two more markets as soon as you can and build hunting lodge next to Kremlin. Surround it with farms (7-8). You should build two more lodges, one next to the forest to the north of Kremlin and one near your lumber camp to the south east. Every town centre and market should build units and send them to work. Don't forget about the houses! Once you have enough resources build a landmark with your woodcutters. You should be able to complete the scenario within 2-3 tries.
Basic Combat:
Gold: Max 15 units lost. Difficulty 4/5
Surprisingly tricky scenario. However, we're going to abuse enemies lack of self awareness and will tank with our buildings.
Wave 1: Super easy. Stay with your spearmen in reasonable distance (half a screen away). Wait until the cavalry attacks one of your buildings and move with your spearmen. If done correctly the cavalry will be super dedicated to destroy your lookout while your spearmen will have an easy time killing the enemy. Max 1 unit dead, no more.
Wave 2: Split your archers into two (9-6) stacks. Move the bigger stack to the middle of the ambush forest and smaller stack near the edge of it. What you want to do is attack with the smaller stack so spearmen are after them and while they are close run in circles around your bigger stack in such a distance that your archers can shoot the enemy but the enemy is focused on chasing the rabbit. If your bigger stack gets attacked by more units, start to run away with it instead. Kill any units that were more interested in destroying your village rather than your little games in the ambush forest. You shouldn't lose any units there.
Wave 3: I approached it 3 times and every single time lost exactly 2 horsemen. Stay in the ambush forest and wait until archers start attacking your building. Then charge and wait.
Wave 4: The tricky wave. Your spearmen should form a line in your village (on the main road) with your archers behind. Once enemy attacks a building move your 1 archer and fire at the closest unit. Hope for 50/50 split (I was attacked by all the spearmen while cavalry was busy destroying my town). Once you kill those invaders, attack the rest. Hopefully you'll be at max 8 units dead at that point.
Wave 5: Do what the scenario suggests and hide with all your units (cavalry behind the ridge and spearmen in the forest). Once their cavalry is gone attack archers with all your troops (cavalry first, supported by spearmen). Then go for their cavalry. I was able to complete it with 12 units dead.
Early Siege:
Gold: 5:00. Difficulty 5/5
You will have to rush. There is literally no time to spare and you have to use each second you have. Prepare to restart a lot.
Build 2x2 springald and one mangonel. Move everything down the hill to your right so you can avoid enemy tower 1. Build 3 battering rams near the forest and order your siege units to attack enemy men-at-arms. As soon as they start advancing towards your siege units, move your archers closer and kill the enemy. Meanwhile order your 3 rams to go towards the gate (ignore tower 2!), one ram should get all spearmen in. When infantry is dead, move your archers to an empty ram. Once near the gate, your springalds (hopefully you still have 4, if not restart) and mangonel should fire at archers and kill as many as you can. Once the gate falls down, your mangonel should fire at the small archer gang near the mill, your springalds should fire at some archers and men-at-war once they are close. Leave your rams and focus with archers and spearmen on those foot soldiers. After they are dead, kill the archers with your ground units (and springalds) and focus on the town centre with your rams.
Once their archers are dead, move your springalds towards the hill and destroy enemy springalds (which for whatever reason don't seem to notice their height advantage which definitely looks like a bug). After those are dead, focus on enemy spearmen with your archers, mangonel and springalds. They shouldn't cause a threat to your units. Once they are dead, the town centre should also be down. Move your spearmen to one ram and attack the landmark. Archers should enter another ram. Once you are next to the landmark, leave rams and throw everything at the landmark.
The town centre should fall maximum at 4:00 and you should have all your rams. Springalds will be useless after the spearmen fight/slaughter so don't worry if you lose any.
Ah, scouts? I haven't even moved them from my starting position.
Late Siege:
Gold: 6:00. Difficulty: 3/5
Fairly easy scenario. Don't forget about upgrades that you can buy in your starting base. I prioritised infantry health and damage, then went for chemistry and cavalry upgrade. In siege workshop buy upgrades from right to left.
Start by building two trebuchets and one bombard, set the rally point next to your warband. Go towards the gate with your men-at-arms to trigger enemy counterattack. Fall back to the rest of your troops and destroy attackers. Build battering ram. Let your siege weapons (without the ram) destroy two towers in front and the gate. Rush with your men-at-arms to the walls to get rid of archers while your two elefants should destroy everything in front. Siege weapons should fire at Aachen Chapel. Once it falls down move your spearman to the left and kill defender's cavalry (support your troops with the rest of your units). At the same time, your siege units should start damaging the Regnitz Cathedral. Once it falls down move towards HRE Town Center. Men-at-arms first to tank, supported by archers. Throw everything you have at the building and if done correctly you should have around 30s spare.

Nice strats. I found you can go around back for both the sieges as an alternative, which is how I did it:
Early Siege: head down the road to the left with your entire army and aim for the clearing behind the Kremlin. Build 5 siege rams with infantry there and bust down the palisade wall, focus firing Kremlin with rams while protecting them with infantry/scouts.Then send entire army down to the other target and focus fire it down with rams & remaining infantry, ignoring the enemy archers.
Late Siege: make 3 trebuchets, queue up appropriate upgrades and send entire army left through the stealth forest. Make a hole in the wall up the hill with trebs & elephants and focus down the left target building with infantry while trebs & elephants make a hole in the wall to the left of the fortress.
Ignoring the fortress, send entire army around back and set up trebs between the remaining 2 targets and take them out while defending the counterattack with remaining army.

This strategy should help guarantee you get the gold medal in the Art of War Challenge: Early Economy. Age of empires has put together some impressive challenges to help you learn the basics of the game and also prepare you for multiplayer games.
This will task you with developing to Age II in 5 minutes. Most of the AI games and high player games will have similar outcomes from PC keeping you on your toes. This is a great preparation to build the rhythm of early gameplay success.
Start by focusing on always keeping your Queue full with villager development. Quickly branch out to work on deer harvesting and then build your lumber mill and first house. as your villagers come out send 2 to the gold mine to farm enough gold for the age progression then send them off to finish gathering more food for villager production, you do not need to waste the supplies on a mine for this challenge. make sure to take off your wood harvesters once there is enough wood to produce your second house as well. be sure to double-check your Queue is always full as you only have 10 seconds of spare time to lose before missing gold. Take advantage of the southern deer location as well to keep your progress moving and you should have Age II in no time.

This strategy should help you get the gold medal or get some practice in the right direction in the Art of War Challenge: Late Economy. Age of empires has put together some unique challenges to help you learn the basics of the game and prepare you for multiplayer games.
This will task you with developing to Age IV in 10 minutes. Many PVP high-skill player games will have similar outcomes keeping you on your toes with managing micro-skills. This is a great framework to build the rhythm of late gameplay methods and development to strengthen your chance of success in AOE 4 Skirmish battles.
Start by keeping your Queue full at all times with villagers and traders. Swap to working on forest harvesting and then build your second or third lumber mill and second Town Hall. Branch out to develop your next trading post and operate on gold and stone mining progression shortly after. Prioritize some farm buildings to cover your population issues coming into the 3-4 minute mark and prep for a third trade post and 3rd town hall. Don't forget to right-click out to a forest, mine, or trade post to send them in the right direction consistently without going idle. Be sure to double-check your Queue in case you made have some empty building queues. Keep trading resources out to get what you need in food and gold and prepare to build your Age IV building to finish the mission. Don't forget to send all your villagers to create it since you no longer need to worry about resources after having what you need to construct it.
