How to unlock the Anvil of Heaven achievement in Army of Ruin - Definitive Guide
I used Mork with the below setup;
Trinkets;
Armored pads, Banner of ruin, Ice tear, Silver bullets, Gloves of harmony, Obsidian crown
This let me upgrade all of my below weapons;
Spectral daggers, ancestral razor, jellyfish ashes, necromancer gauntlets, jade wand, mighty punch
I had everything at rank 5 by wave 25 and virtually untouchable. The game was running while I was writing this and I’m standing in the middle of 8 drum circles (speeds up enemies) and I still haven’t dropped below 50% health on wave 39.
For the charms I took whatever was boosted and gave me health, damage, fire rate or attack size. My main menu upgrades focused on damage, health regen, pickup range, fire rate, luck and attack size

I think best character for this stage is Ariana because the enemies at the shrine stages are abit tanky so i wanted to build up my damage and her spear has some good range,when i did it i had the anvil and anchor as my dps with her spears then i just focused on health and skill cooldown so i can use her ability when the box me in so i can escape,having travel boots help out aswell
These achievements for reaching Minute 30 are some of the toughest in the game. Unlike Vampire Survivors, this game is not so easy to become incredibly overpowered and unstoppable. The 25-minute mark is where things start to get pretty crazy, and even on my successful runs, I very quickly got overwhelmed and destroyed by 35 minutes (unlike Vampire Survivors, where it seems like you can just let your controller idle indefinitely and you'll never die once you're set up).
After a bunch of trial and error, I have put together a list of what I feel are the most critical trinkets for success. In my opinion the weapons aren't strictly as crucial as these trinkets, but obviously some weapons are much better than others, so I'll cover them second. Note that, if you don't have one of the ones I list below, just search the achievement list for its same name to unlock it.

As for weapons, these are my top ones. Some aren't great by themselves, but once evolved (and with will Projectiles upgraded, or with the Magnifier and Leather Bracers) they are very good.

Lastly, here are some weapons I found to be terrible at the later parts of runs:

Trinkets
- Forbidden Sword (light) - useless until it's maxed, but once it's maxed it's an absolute game changer, and it feels like it practically guarantees victory. I always have this trinket marked as a favorite
- Magnifier (earth) - size matters in this game, because when the horde gets huge, it's way too easy to get overwhelmed. Weapons like Wolf's Fang that are very localized damage suddenly cover a huge part of the screen, and with six weapons in capacity, you'll notice your attacks just cover everything on screen
- Silver Bullet (wind) - crowd control is the name of the game as you get deep into runs, and this trinket is amazing for allowing you to stay on the move or just keep a safe area around you
- Leather Bracer (ice) - this is a little dependent on your weapons, but it's pretty much guaranteed to affect at least three of your weapons, and will have your huge weapons firing off way more often
- Shackles (earth) - this significantly helps with crowd control, especially on Forge and Shrine where there are some fast moving enemies
- Wristband of Grudge (wind) - if you do happen to take damage, especially while still rounding out your build, this over doubles your damage, which is massive to help get out of a jam
- Dragon's Heart (fire) - an extra 50% damage is nice, and there aren't many fire elements I like
- Sacred Effigy (dark) - basically the equivalent of 30% more damage, but it's a noticeable difference
As for weapons, these are my top ones. Some aren't great by themselves, but once evolved (and with will Projectiles upgraded, or with the Magnifier and Leather Bracers) they are very good.
Weapons
- Wolf's Fang - extremely high damage, and with Magnifier it can cover half of the screen. Add on two Projectiles and it hits three times, plus the Fire Rate increases to make it even more frequent
- Serrated Spears - Area and Projectiles plus knockback make these things constantly clear an unstoppable path in front of you
- Storm Javelin - its evolution is amazing for crowd control, and with Magnifier its pools will cover the entire screen
- Mystical Firecracker - excellent knockback and good damage. Again, can cover the screen with Magnifier
- Whirlwind Axe - evolved and with the Fire Rate increases, these things will be everywhere doing tons of damage at mid and long range
- Blood Wing - great screen-covering projectiles, and its evolution adds great knockback
- Cupid's Arrow/Bronze Starfish - these are the starting weapons of two additional characters you can unlock, Tisha and Neptune. These weapons start off slow, but evolved and with Projectiles upgrades and high Fire Rate, these things will be everywhere. At the end of my successful runs, these weapons were always the two highest DPS weapons in my runs
Lastly, here are some weapons I found to be terrible at the later parts of runs:
- Toxic Stench - amazing for the first few waves for clearing enemies and leveling fast, but drops off so fast by the middle of a run that it's virtually useless
- Golden Trident - way too many gaps in its fire area to be helpful for big mobs
- Magical Staff - really bad after the first third of so of a run. Definitely don't waste a slot here
- Throwing Axe - not enough damage and not enough time on screen. Not worth it
- Crawling Root - largely wasted shots that just spread too much to really have much of an impact
