How to unlock the Friends-Rivals-Champions-Legends achievement in Dirt Rally - Definitive Guide

I did this with with FORD Ford Rs Rally 2007
Fully upgraded
Open difficulty
Tune a little bit
Tarmac bottom four of the tuning all the way to the right or second from the right
the rideheight :front suspension al the way to the left
rear suspension second from the left
Gravel bottom four of the tuning in the middel
i had the same points as the AI and got the achievement
So you only have to win 3 and the rest finished 2 to get the same points as the AI if he wins the other 3 and comes 2 in the races you have won
Hope this helps

Hi. I just want to make a comment, in case you want to put it in the solution ... I used the C4 Rally 2010 included in the 2000s cars, and I did not get the achievement. Then I repeated the championship with the Ford RS and I earned it.

I just unlocked this using the C4 Rally 2010, so I don't believe that the issue SL360 Jonay described is still around.

For the record, I found that getting to grips with the car for this championship was a little bit difficult relative to some of the others, because the car itself isn't particularly fast and, as a result, there's not a whole lot of opportunities to gain a lot of time relative to your competitors. If you are using the C4 Rally 2010, IT IS ABSOLUTELY ESSENTIAL THAT YOU ONLY ATTEMPT THIS CHAMPIONSHIP WITH A FULLY UPGRADED CAR. If you are using this car with the default setup, as a general rule, I would strongly recommend avoiding first gear at all costs, as the redline @ ~30 km/h in first gear on the C4 means you will hemorrhage time in slow corners. Your can easily take all these corners between 30 and 45 km/h as long as you're getting the front of the car rotated on entry (easy enough with handbrake/scandinavian flick), if you are downshifting to first in these corners your mid-corner speed suffers greatly relative to staying in second and you will also be compromising your exits.

When processing the pace notes in the C4 2010 with the default setup, I'd read all "1," "hairpin," "square" and "acute" corners as "second gear" (can apex between 30-47 km/h, which is its range), all "2," "3, tightens," "3 over crest/bump," "4, tightens" and "4, narrows" corners as third-gear (apex between 48-70 km/h), and "4, opens" or greater corners as fourth/fifth gear depending on my ability to see ahead of me (flying through blind-crest corners is a recipe for car-flip). "5" and "6" corners were more of a wildcard depending on the surface and my overall confidence level. I definitely left a lot of time on the table, but I was able to win 4/6 events comfortably and place second in the other two using that system for processing the pace notes and by being focused on my lines and my exits.

Hope this helps some people! Please feel free to contact me if you'd like any more advice.

If you win and move to the club level, you don’t need to roll back your save to play on another car, just play the club level, literally launch the track, wait for the start and “Options - Leave” and so on 6 times. After this, you will be returned to the "Open Championships".
