How to unlock the Smooth Talker achievement in Fallout Shelter - Definitive Guide

Most quests will give you 0-1 dialogue options, which are unmissable if you search every room.

However, there is a weekly quest called "Game Show Gauntlet", which gives you 4 dialogue options!

I've also found that you can do Game Show Gauntlet several times.

The weekly quest "Game Show Gauntlet" will give you 4 dialog options. I haven't seen it yet myself but that is a good one to go for. Here is also a link to the answers so you don't have to fight anybody. I didn't make this list and all the credit goes to the person how made it.

EDIT: 22/2/17
So Yin found out that you can answer the first three questions in the "Game Show Gauntlet" and then "Give Up" the quest in the objective screen. Then you retry the quest, witch will cost you some caps. Starting at 200 and then increasing every time you retry it. The exact amount it goes up I don't know. But this makes the achievement even easier if you can spend the Caps. He estimates that you need to save up about 20000 to retry the mission the 8 times to get the achievement.
Thank you Yin for sharing.

If you can't spend the caps these are also good options to go for. You don't need to do it in one quest it's cumulative so don't worry about it if you can't do it all at once.

Some of the quests have 0-1 dialoge options. But from my experience there are more quest that don't have options than there are quests that have. Until I got to high lvl quests.

I also found that if you have dwellers in the wastelands and they come across a location that you can Interact with. (a map with a audio cue will appear underneath your dweller counter. Picture below). This is completely random but when you need to clear out raiders there was always a dialog option, these also count towards
Legend of the Wastes in Fallout Shelter

Also with some quests later on where your dwellers need to be lvl 38+ I had a lot of quests where you would get 2-3 dialog option. By then I already had the achievement. But might be useful to know.

EDIT: 18/2/17 fixed some grammar
EDIT: 19/2/17 Added a picture of the icon.
EDIT: 25/2/17 Added Yin's findings and reformated the solution.

Out of sheer curiosity, after answering the third question on a Game Show Gauntlet I selected 'Give Up' on the Quest Objective screen. I was awarded progress towards the achievement for answering the three questions correct, and then simply chose to retry the quest by using caps (which started at 200 but increased with each subsequent retry). This allowed me to answer the same three questions over and over again.

As someone with a surplus of caps, this made this achievement extremely easy. Thanks for the solution. :)

So you have done the "Game Show Gauntlet" 4 times after you hit 92%? So that should have granted you the achievement in the first one since you're 2 dialogue options away. That's wierd, does any other quest dialogue make progress or not? I haven't seen this myself, so I have no idea way you're not making any progress. Maybe reinstall you're game. Your game save should be in the cloud anyway.

Ohh wow that is usefull to know. Then you can just go for that and replay it 8 times. I'll put it in the solution :)

So, for me the initial replay was 200, followed by 300, 450 and continued to climb. If you're starting from zero, I'd recommend having at least 20,000 caps to do it this way. Of course, nothing says you couldn't do this over multiple weeks to stockpile caps.

While out on quests you will come across people you can talk to and they give you a dialogue option similar to the main fallout games. This achievement is for selecting 25 dialogue options.

Not every quest has them so it may require you doing 30-40 quests.

Also a dweller sent out to the wasteland may occasionally come across a building that almost always gives them a dialogue option when they walk in. I dont know how common these are though as Ive only had 1 and it seemed very "tutorial-esk"

If you are playing the game and plan to complete all achievements, then this achievement will come naturally. Dialouge options occur during quests (which are possible AFTER you build the overseer's office). Not all quests have dialouge options, and some have several (Weekly Quests GAME SHOW GAUNLET has 4)

If you are like me, and your tracker stopped working (mine stopped at 92% and never continued although all others unlocked properly), this is what I did to get the achievement.

- I started a new vault.
- After setting up the basic stuff, I changed the clock forward 7 days to get my lunch boxes. - I collected over 70 lunch boxes.
- I opened the lunch boxes and recieved 2 legendary dwellers, great weapons & clothing.
- I equipped my best characters and tossed them out into the wasteland. Make sure they have alot of med.
- Pushed time forward 2 days with plenty of meds (doing this a few times will help them rank up to level 50 pretty quickly. If they die, revive and recall them (make sure to keep 1000 for each one.

Once you have 3 high level characters with decent weapons.

I began doing quests. (in my experience, the weekly quests seemed to have a higher required level, and having higher level characters made this easier.

LOOK for a weekly quest called GAME SHOW GAUNLET because this one has 4 dialouge options. There is another (not sure of name but i as another weekly quest that had something to do with checking on other vaults)

I link for answers can be found here:
http://ingameinfo.blogspot.ca/2016/09/Fallout-Shelter-Gauntl...
(I do realize this is the same link in a solution above but I had found this myself and thought it should be included in my solution as well)

I would COMPLETE this quest (once again by changing the time to speed up things). NOTE: after arriving at the quest screen, I would change the clock BACK TO THE REAL DATE, and then do the quest. After completing it, I would continue to change the time.

Finally after 25 dialouge options, the achievement unlocked (it did not pop in game, I had to go on TA to find it).

I did this all in one sitting (although I did have the game close several times) but I NEVER changed my platform, or opened any other save file.

You will encounter friendly characters and some enemies on quests and sometimes you will be able to talk to them and make some dialogue choices. They can sometimes lead to a fight so be careful with what you choose but they will all count for the trophy. Keep doing quests and make sure to visit every rooms, even after completing the quest, as you will get more chances to find characters and also get more loot.

When your dwellers are out on quests, they will sometimes run into other people or ghouls who won’t attack you on sight. When this happens you will have the opportunity to have a short conversation with them to try and prevent a fight. If it’s raiders, that’s not going to happen but since the outcome of the conversation doesn’t matter for this achievement, who cares if you anger a few raiders. After you have chosen your words, for good or bad, 25 times, this achievement will unlock.

Completed in the main quests in the wasteland, from the caretaker's room. You don’t have to bother too much and choose something; even the first item in any dialogue is considered a choice, and you can quickly jump through them using the button
Although until the middle of the game I read all the dialogues, then I got tired of it and quickly began to scroll through

Let me add that one of the best options would be a weekly task where you need to play a “game” called “Lose Your Head.” During its passage there will be enough dialogues; after completing it, you can rewind time a week forward and do it again (the task is updated every Friday). Repeat until victory. However, I don’t advise you to worry too much about this trophy; it will drop on its own within the course of completing 100 tasks. Ps the weekly task does not count towards the "Complete 100 tasks" trophy list

On the way to platinum it should happen automatically, but if you need to quickly, then complete the “game show” task or something like that, since at least 3-4 choices in dialogues are guaranteed and it can be completed once a week, in half of the missions there will not even be dialogues usually
