I'm just going to give some helpful tips for this achievement because it isn't really that hard.
1) The fight is in four stages, each stage has 3 puzzles. The puzzles aren't too difficult to figure out, although there is one puzzle in stage 4 that requires quickly switching between all of the characters.
2) Each phase has it's own set of puzzles, the order is random, so you can learn them and then come back and know what is coming.
3) The 'Protopulses' are the orbs that he tries to charge during each puzzle. If he charges up an orb he will store it on his chest.
4) Retrying the room resets you back to the beginning of the phase you are currently on. You will not lose progress for previously complete phases.
I cannot confirm whether restarting the phase after and orb is charged will save the achievement or if you have to complete the whole battle in one run without him charging. To be safe I recommend restarting the room if you think you aren't going to make it on a puzzle at all so that he doesn't have a chance to finish an orb.
I did this by running through the battle once to get the feel for it, then replaying the final act while focusing this achievement. I got it on that second try without needing to reset.
