How to unlock the Expertly Executed achievement in Knights Contract - Definitive Guide

Disclaimer: If you cannot remotely stand hearing the phrase "Feel my godlike power!" repeatedly, then by all means do NOT attempt this method.

By the time you finish three full playthroughs (the minimum you'll need to complete this game, and HIGHLY recommended you do before starting this method) you will still probably be lacking in the Finishers department. Unfortunately there is no way to keep a running total on how many Finishers you have dealt, though at the end of an episode it will show how many Finishers you pulled off and you can tally them that way.

The easiest way I found to grind out the remaining Finishers you may need is to replay Episode 19. Defeat Faust's first form to make him transform into Mega Crustacean Faust (might as well be his name) and then set up your four spell slots as follows: Colchis' Trap I, II, & III, and a spell of your choice such as Elizabeth's Fangs. The bread and butter of this spell selection will be the Trap spells, while your fourth spell should be used to interrupt Faust's attacks if your other spells are still charging. Stay fairly close to Faust and cast your Trap spells next to his crab legs and you should immediately get the chance to do a Finisher. By the time you've cast all three of your available Trap spells one or more of your other Traps should be available to use. You'll get a Finisher every few seconds this way.

This method is best done on an easier difficulty to avoid any complications, though playing on a higher difficulty would result in more Finishers. I'm not 100% sure if your Finishers get counted if you die, and I didn't want to risk it. On Squire difficulty I was getting between 150-200 Finishers every run before Faust inevitably died from the damage. Equipping the Seal of Magic/Wisdom is also highly recommended. Good luck with this grind!

I believe a better way is to play on Squire and load up Episode 7 and avoid killing the things on the ground. Use Enochs Hammer level 3 and rack them up quickly. And then just replay the level. Short boss level! Since the things on the ground keep spawning enemies this should be a very good method.

This is a fantastic method to use! I'm making some pretty good progress so far using it. However, I wouldn't recommend using Fangs, because you don't get the opportunity for a finisher with it. I'd put the fourth as Enoch or the spikes.....but usually the 3 traps are refreshing without the need for a 4th spell anyway.

Also, I can confirm that if you die....and for me personally, the dying was due to me messing up the QTE at the end of round 3, which results in a death....all my finishers still counted in the end of round tally.

After your's third playthrough, chance that you need to farm finisher is high. I suggest to replay level eight for it's shortness and good amount of enemies.

As the name suggests, you can perform a Finisher on an enemy. When an enemy's health is in the yellow, a few hits away from being defeated, you'll be given the opportunity to perform a Finisher. To perform a Finisher, have Gretchen cast a spell ( + a face button) on an enemy when their health is low, and you will see a prompt at the bottom of the screen, press at the right moment to unleash a Finisher.

To check an enemy's health, lock on to them with .

Perform a Finisher once, 100 times, and 1,000 times, and the corresponding trophies will unlock.

A Finisher is performed by reducing an enemy to low health (enemy health can be seen by holding to target them) and using a certain Witchcraft. If the enemy is sufficiently weakened you will be prompted to press and pressing in time will kill any and all non-boss enemies caught in the Witchcraft that triggered the Finisher. All ranks of Mag Mell's Rose, Vlad's Impaler, Colchis' Trap and Enoch's Hammer can trigger Finishers. No other Witchcraft can. On Squire, weaker Homunculus enemies such as the ones on episode 8 are a good source of Finishers. After only a few scythe hits, a level two trap will trigger a Finisher on one. Killing multiple enemies with one Finisher will count for as many Finishers as there are enemies. Take advantage of Mag Mell's Rose III on easier difficulties for easy Finishers. For an easy way to grind out your Finishers, go to episode 19 and use Colchis' Trap I and II repeatedly against demon Faust's legs.

A good place is the beginning of chapter 8, when there are quite a lot of simple enemies at the beginning. I recommend using the weakest level of magic, since the most advanced spells will act too globally.
