How to unlock the The Hunt is my Mistress achievement in Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor - Game of the Year Edition - Definitive Guide
Credit for this solution must go to SUPER BOCHMAN, who posted the solution that worked best for me on the original game. I made a few tweaks to his system, so I felt like I should post them. As a note, I completed this with almost 4 minutes left (plenty of time to feel comfortable), and over 14,000 points (not including the 1000 bonus for 40 minute completion. Let's get started
EDIT: If you are having trouble, I suggest reading through some of the comments below. Players have listed some of the methods and small changes that worked for them, and they might work for you too. I did not include everything in the solution, as it is already long enough, but credit and thanks goes to everyone who contributed their tips and tricks. A big thanks to Warboy925 for his Graug Bait map.
To play any of the trials, select play from the main menu, select Trials of War, and scroll down to Test of the Wild. In order to complete Test of the Wild, you must
- Kill all 5 War Chiefs
- Kill all 20 Captains.
In order to get this achievement, however, you must qualify for the Elite Leaderboards, which means you have to complete the following optional objectives:
- Complete in 40 minutes
- Kill 10 Captains with monsters
- Earn 13000 points
Here is a quick guideline on the steps required to complete this method:
1 - Gather info on all 20 captains. All you need is their locations, so you can get this by interrogating regular Uruks.
2 - Gather intel on Warchiefs until you find Kugor Beast Hunter, the masked Uruk with the crossbow that shoots fire arrows. *Might be called Zugor Beast Butcher now*
3 - Hop on a Graug. There is a Graug bait hanging off the bottom of the bridge directly west from the Forge Tower you start out at.
4 - Begin from the bottom right of the map and move clockwise, killing every Captain with your Graug. Avoid any power struggles, just stay on your Graug. Continually use the map/Saurons Army screen to plan out the closest Captain, and try not to miss any. A lot more detail on this to come
5 - Go to the mission for Kugor and draw him out. You need to do this quickly. Once Kugor has appeared (don't worry about bodyguards) you need to make him submit without killing him. See below for details.
6 - Use Kugor to riot against the other 4 Warchiefs and any remaining captains.
That's it! Now let's go into some major detail here to ensure you get this with as few failed attempts as possible (I did it on my second try with this method).
1 & 2 - Intel Phase:
You need to gather locations on all 20 captains and full Intel on Warchiefs until you reveal Kugor Beast Hunter. You start on the East-most Forge Tower on the map, so look down and to the left. There will always be one or more Uruks here. The method that works fastest is using Shadowstrike (+) to swoop over and knock down all but one Uruk, grab the remaining one, gather Intel on a captain, then kill him. Continue doing this until all the Uruks around you are dead. Try to avoid larger groups, as fighting is wasting time. If you do get in a fight, build up your combo and use combo brand (+) to thin the crowd, then grab your branded Uruks and continue gathering captain locations. Travel around between this spot and the surrounding areas, such as the two ridges the to the West. The Uruks will respawn around here fairly regularly in small groups.
While you are doing this, keep an eye out for green Intel. There is always some either down where I told you to start, or on one of the two ridges to the west. The Warchief you want to reveal is Kugor Beast Hunter, so once you get Intel on him, you can just use any more Intel you happen by for Captain locations. Feel free to hop on cargors to move quickly around the area, just be sure to kill them. This racks up points early on so you don't have to rush at the end. You can brand a full group of cargors, then press to kill all the ones except the one you're riding.
This process should take around 8 minutes. Personally it usually takes me almost 9 because I like to kill a few extra Caragors. As soon as you are done, you can move on to the next step.
3 & 4 - Graug Time
Get on a Graug as quickly as possible. The closest Graug bait is underneath the bridge directly to the West of the starting Forge Tower. Shoot it, then start moving West as every time I used it, the Graug came from the west. Shadow mount him, then you can start your killing spree.
Open up the Sauron's Army page and look for whichever captain is nearest to the south east corner of the map. Use wraith vision to spot and mark the target. Chase them down and eat them up with . Now move clockwise around the map, constantly checking Sauron's Army to plot your course. Try not to miss any Captains along the way, but ignore any power struggles, as these require loosing your Graug.
You can plot a course directly through the southern stronghold, and there is always several captains in here. Keep spamming Wraith vision. I would often find Captains with wraith vision without even realizing they were on my map. If you are really struggling to find one specific captain, it will probably be faster to just leave him for now and move on, don't waste time backtracking.
The north-west stronghold can also be infiltrated completely whilst on your Graug. The only place you can't get to is the back area of the north-east stronghold, so don't even try for those captains. When you're done, you should have at least 10 captain kills, hopefully nearer to 15. I was just over 20 minutes at this point.
5 - Brand Kugor Beast Hunter
Look for Kugor's mission on the map and fast travel to the nearest Forge Tower. Hopefully you get an easy call out mission, just take advantage of skills such as Shadow Strike Kill to get things done as soon as possible. Make sure you are near full on elf-shot when Kugor shows up. Don't worry if he has lots of bodyguards, you will simply be attacking him. Get a good line of site on Kugor and start firing arrows his way (they don't all have to be headshots, building the streak is more important. Once you can, shoot two fire arrows at him, then follow up with one or two more regular arrows. This should knock him to his knees. Run past everything else and up to Kugors prone body, and you will be able to brand him. Immediately command him to start the first riot against another Warchief.
6 - Riots
Go to your first Riot via fast travel and start it up. You start almost every riot from a birds eye view, so you can use this to thin out the herd on the opposing side with Elf Shot. If the Warchief is immune to ranged attacks, feel free to jump down and join the fray. I did this because if you are able to kill the Warchief yourself, you get a ton of points as opposed to letting Kugor do it. When the first warchief is dead, grab Kugor before he leaves and send him off to the next riot, then press to kill all remaining branded Uruks for points. Rinse and repeat this method.
When it comes to Warchiefs with bodyguards, it's a good idea to find a nearby Graug bait and eat them up. This speeds things up as you can kill them all before any escape. If you kill the Warchief first, another will be promoted. If you're fast, you can eat him too for more points. I did not use this method, as I worried about captains escaping, requiring another riot.
One big note is on the Ghul Keeper. If you just let Kugor take him out, it will take a minute or more off your time. What you want to do is find a Graug or Caragor bait and hop on a monster, as the Ghul Keeper is easily damaged by monsters, plus you get the points for killing him.
Quite a few riots will likely happen in the valley to the right of the southern stronghold. There are two Graug baits very close to here, so you can use these to end the riots very quickly. Always kill your Graug when done. You can fast travel to refresh Graug baits, but sometimes you will get a riot right back in the same spot, and it is much faster to just climb back up and start the next one.
If you kill all the other captains/Warchiefs and still need some points, as unlikely as that is, look for Graug/Caragor baits and call them in. Mount and kill them as quickly as you can, draining your mounts to replenish elf-shot when required. Beasts give tons of points.
To be safe, you should be just below the 12,000 mark when you kill your branded warchief. You get a good amount of points from it, but it would be awful to be a little short when just a few more Caragor kills can give you some quick points. When you're ready, press with your Warchief in range to finish the test and hopefully unlock this achievement!
That should be it. This achievement is definitely tough, but as I mentioned earlier, I got it on my 2nd try with this method. I hope this helps, feel free to mention what works for you, as everyone is different.

Great guide, very thorough. I got the achievement on my second try. Thumbs up from me!

Thumbs up for this solution id have gotten nowhere without it, I really struggled with this achievement, a few times i managed to kill everyone but didnt have enough points and no time to get more, other times i would accidentally kill Kugor or get tied up killing the war chiefs and not be able to finish in time.
I finally completed it with these few adjustments to this solution.
During the intel phase, select to send a death threat to the captains, this shows their location but also increases their point value, they are no harder to kill since you are using the graug, this fixed my points problem.
Also before doing the tour of the map and killing the 20 captains, i found Kugor, branded him and set up the first riot, doing this at an early stage helped since sometimes i would waste minutes by getting intel on the wrong war chiefs or kill Kugor by mistake, doing this early let me know if i was making good time and it wasnt too bad to reset if i had bad luck.
I would add that luck played a big factor for me, sometimes captains wouldnt spawn in their area or there were not enough uruks nearby the spawn and i had to waste time getting intel.
On my winning run i was lucky, loads of uruks were around the spawn point, i found Kugor on my first try and many of the captains were grouped together, the remaining captains that had to be killed by duel/riot all were vulnerable to ranged attacks so i took them out easy.

This is a summary of Phoenix C64's solution for the standard version found here:
Solution for The Hunt is my Mistress In Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor
I have added additional details that I feel streamlined his excellent solution.
Step 1: Without leaving the spawn tower, go into Wraith Vision () and look for a yellow Uruk (which has intel) or a Captain (red) walking out in the open. Also check the mini-map for the intel icon. If there is not one nearby, pause and press to fast travel to the same tower until you find one. Use Shadow Strike ( + ) to get to intel/Captain then kill any stragglers and dominate the intel source. Use the intel on one of the Warchiefs with the goal of finding Ûgakûga Graug rider. I found that both game versions tended to have Ûgakûga in the same spot on the Sauron's Army screen, so if you have to restart a few times, you'll see where he usually is in your game.
Step 2: Go to Ûgakûga's mission and draw him out. The key here is to run to a more open space or an area on a different elevation to minimize other Uruks and make sure you can always see the prompt to counter. Try to keep him between you and the other Uruks and whittle his health down carefully until he kneels as he won't turn green. I started with executions, then after his health got low I would Wraith Stun, then just hit him a few times and wait, then repeat until he kneeled. Select Dominate () then Command () and send him to riot on your first Warchief.
Step 3: Follow Phoenix C64's guide for Riots. Basically fast travel to location, start Riot, find Graug Bait, Shadow Strike Mount the Graug, eat bodyguards first, and then the Warchief. My tip here is that you can kind of use the Graug to herd the bodyguards and Warchief away from Ûgakûga before trying to eat them, to keep from accidentally eating Ûgakûga. After you eat them, Kill your Graug ( + ), then dominate and send Ûgakûga to the next riot, then press to dispatch the minions for the points. Fast Travel to the next location and repeat.
Step 4: Once you send Ûgakûga to the third original Warchief, advance time with instead of normal fast travel, this promotes bodyguards and gives you more Warchiefs for the points. Repeat again, advancing time while going to the final original Warchief. My tip here is to only advance time on the Third and Fourth original Warchief. This should give you plenty of bodyguards at your raids, and two extra Warchiefs for points.
Step 5: Go back to fast traveling to the promoted Warchiefs, don't advance time anymore.
Step 6: After you have Ûgakûga as the only remaining Warchief, start sending Ûgakûga to Raid the last Captains. You should have enough beast kills by now so I recommend ignoring the Graug Bait and shooting all of the Berserkers and Shield Uruks with your bow and then other Uruks until you run out of focus, then jump down and take out the Captain with executions.
Final Step: When you kill the last Captain, if you have at least 11,000 points press to dispatch Ûgakûga and his minions.
If needed, here is a map of Graug bait locations suggested by BLYAST in the comments:
https://steamuserimages-a.akamaihd.net/ugc/61509554576442502...
Note: When you come up against Zûgor Beast Butcher, ignore his bodyguards and immediately kill him with arrows and fire arrows when they are available. Then jump down and send Ûgakûga to riot his successor and do not advance time.

Don't forget step 3. Use the Graug to move the bad guys away from Ûgakûga. I put that in there because I absolutely ate Ûgakûga once or twice on accident.

This is the best guide on here. Did it with 6 minutes to spare. Thank you!!!

This achievement proved to be the biggest SOB in the game for me. Hardest challenge was time. I failed 8 times I tried to go all the way. 3 of those were within 1 minute. The 2 guides listed did not provide me a good enough strategy to complete within 40 minutes.
What follows are the tips and winning strategy I used to get it.
prepare yourself for tl;dr
requirements:
complete Test of the Wild with:
- all 5 war chiefs and all 20 captains dead
- kill 10 captains with beasts (war chiefs do not count)
- earn 13,000 points
- complete above within 40 minutes.
tips:
- do not freak out, get frustrated, and quit if you die.
- the skills you have in the challenge mode are the same ones you unlocked in the normal campaign. obviously have as many as you can.
- know where the graug bait is (map can be found here: http://tinyurl.com/jabs6lo ) this is not my map! credit goes to some guy on steam.
- quick traveling to a tower respawns graug bait.
- graugs will always approach from the same spot when their bait is shot. But the bait is buggy and sometimes the graug won't show. (typically when you need it the most)
- if you fight captains on foot, you want to kill them in as little time as possible. runes you will want to use are ones that increase execution damage (especially vs captains) and base sword damage (unfortunately these are epic runes). Ideally, you want to stun a captain with or vault stun them with and flurry combo them. If you can, you want to complete the flurry and follow up with and then + x2. If surrounded by too many enemies, just + x2 on the captain/chief as soon as you can. Try your best to combo back up for 2 more + s on the captain/chief to finish them off.
- other important runes to use are those that will keep your focus filled up.
- Get in the habit of quick traveling to towers to get you closer to your destination. NEVER jump off the top. Push to scan for targets and + or (a is stun, x is kill) to teleport closer to where you want to go. Ideally you want to look for a caragath to mount. they move faster than you do on foot.
- get in the habit of using wraith vision to scan for captains as you ride a graug. Look for the white symbol. Pushing it will tell you who the captain is, and show you where they are.
- early on, if you are not on a graug find a captain and need beast kills. defeat, brand, and use the captain for intel on a war chief. sooner or later they will turn up while you are on a graug for an easy beast kill.
- the timer is frozen when in the map or sauron's army screen. it keeps counting during war chief and captain spoken dialogues.
- ALWAYS use normal uruks to reveal captains with death threats. You will get more points this way. ALWAYS use intel to reveal war chiefs.
- You MUST land the killing blow on captains or war chiefs if you want points. You will get 0 if a branded minion gets the kill.
- if a captain dies by wild or branded beast, it does count towards the challenge (but not sure if you get points this way tho)
- the graug is the fastest way to defeat captains/war chiefs. its attack is a guaranteed instant kill. graug vomit usually does little to no damage, but will knock down and stun captains,
- if on a graug facing a captain surrounded by uruks, projectile vomit on them. the normal uruks will die quickly and you should be able to tell if the captain is vulnerable. If the captain takes modest damage from the puke, keep puking until he dies. If he takes zero or almost no damage, you must eat him. problem with this scenario is the barf will knock the captain down, and you will have a very low chance of success grabbing a downed captain. Its actually a better idea to wait until they get back up before trying to grab.
- if captain flees and you are on graug: hold try to run over him. he will die instantly (only works with the vomit graug, captain icon must be green on minimap)
- if you are on carragor and a captain is fleeing (must be green on the minimap). chase after him and hold pushing while close. this should be an instant kill. the normal bite grab will not insta kill captains like it does normal uruks.
SPECIAL WAR CHIEFS TO BE AWARE OF:
Zugor Beast Butcher (or Kugor Beast Killer): he can instantly murder you, but he is also very easy to defeat. I always branded him. Shoot him 5 times trying to get head shots, then shoot him with 2 fire arrows. Hit him with 2 or 3 more arrows until his life is almost gone letting the fire take away the rest. He will kneel and submit when you are close. If he doesn't, he should if you melee him once. Its super important to not kill him.
I DO NOT recommend using Zugor for riots. Zugor is so OP, he will deny you points by quickly killing the enemy chief himself. The other issue is if the enemy chief is weak against fire, Zugor's attacks will cause them to flee wasting a lot of time if they successfully escape.
Shagflak Ghul Keeper: Worst pain in the ass. He is immune to all your attacks and takes reduced damage from other sources. This guy is the reason I needed Zugor. He will distract Shagflak long enough for you to find a graug to eat him. And, yes, you must use a graug. Zugor can easily kill Shagflak, but will waste way too much time doing it.
ACHIEVEMENT STRATEGY:
start: right off the bat, I hit and started scanning for uruks to stun teleport to (target them with push ). If I went to a cluster of 3, I shot 2nd uruk in the foot (to stun) and grabbed the 3rd and issued a death threat. Once done, I shot 1 uruk in the leg, and grabbed the 2nd to use for another death threat. then grabbed the last uruk for the 3rd death threat.
I did not reveal all 20 captains before hunting them. Instead I revealed the entire top row and a few in the second (between 10-12)
If I happened to see intel nearby (within reason, its not worth it if you see a gaggle of uruks fighting a carragor), I grabbed it and revealed a war chief.
rarely, upon starting, a captain will spawn within sight of the tower. If I saw him, I teleported to and dominated him. As stated above, I used him to identify a war chief, and released him. I've found branded captains turn up frequently and are very useful to get beast kills.
phase 1: after death threatening the 10+ captains, I raided 2 of the 3 forts by graug. The forts are located in the upper left, upper right, and center bottom of the map. Each fort has a graug bait hanging nearby, usually has a few captains milling about inside, and occasionally a captain can be found with wraith vision not far outside the entrance. I liked going to the upper right fort first. Good news it usually has 4 captains in it. Bad news is, the top half can not be accessed by graug and 2 captains almost always spawn there.
after 2 forts, if I did not have at least 5 kills by beast, I restarted.
Time: between 8-12 minutes (depending on luck)
phase 2: Now I turned my attention towards the war chiefs. If I didn't have intel on any by now, I quick traveled between towers until I found some (you can see them on your map).
I started by going after a war chief who wasn't Zugor or Shagflak. I did their mission, defeated, dominated, then ordered them to riot against another war chief. This went one of two directions here: if I had Zugor revealed, I rioted him. If not, I chose someone who wasn't Shagflak.
VS Zugor: Started shooting the graug bait. Immediately defeated Zugor (read strategy far above), dominated and commanded him to fight Shagflak (or used for intel to find Shagflak). The graug was now (hopefully) there, and I jumped on him and tried to eat the remaining captains. I liked dealing with Zugor this way since the captains tend to linger a bit longer after his defeat, and they're easier to catch by graug in a wide open area (don't forget you can slow them down with barf).
Once they were all taken care of, I grabbed my war chief and had him riot against another war chief (not Shagflak).
VS other war chief: if captain bodyguards present, I shot the graug bait and ate them. Afterwards, I defeated and dominated the war chief using him for intel then selected to kill him vs let him go. Important; if my branded war chief died, I dominated the enemy war chief and commanded him to riot against another war chief (not Shagflak)
the goal at the end of this phase was to have 1 branded war chief, 1 empty war chief slot, and have Zugor branded and commanded to riot against Shagflak.
time: I was consistently getting under 20 minutes (@ 18 min average).
phase 3: I finished kills by beast here. If I was unlucky, I was within 2 of the kills by beast requirement. Staring with if I had any remaining unknown captains, I revealed them via death threat. I checked Sauron's army for their locations, quick traveled to the nearest tower, and rode a graug in to eat them.
this might not seem like a great idea because of time, but from here on out, the # of captains roaming the map are going to become scarce.
when, and only when, I had the kills by beast completed, I went to the map screen and advanced time. the empty war chief slot gets filled with a random captain and will have several bodyguard captains. I suppose you could advance time again to ensure more captains are assigned to war chiefs (max of 5), but the starting war chiefs rarely get extra captains assigned to them.
the goal with this phase was to have Zugor branded with a riot mission vs Shagflak. My other branded war chief with a riot mission vs another war chief. The empty war chief slot filled with a generic captain with multiple body guards.
time: Close to 30 minutes. This was the make or break point for me. Missions eat up tons of time and I didn't realize gaming the war chief + bodyguard system dramatically saves time.
phase 4: the final stretch! you will kill the remaining captains and war chiefs through riots. This is the best, most efficient method is to finish off the remaining enemies.
do your branded war chief's (not Zugor) riot. Kill the captains first, then the war chief (if your war chief dies, dominate the enemy war chief) and command your branded war chief to riot against another war chief.
the best method of dispatching the a war chief + captains is with a graug. I did say above it is not a wise idea to resort to exploiting riots for beast kills, but graugs truly are the quickest and easiest means to kill the cluster of VIP enemies. You will want to save the war chief for last or second to last; his captains will flee in different directions once he dies and lots of time will be wasted tracking them down or setting up a riot.
at this point:
if any remaining captains were not assigned as a body guard, I advanced time again to get a new war chief who would bring the remaining captains with him to battle.
if they are all assigned, I did the riot vs the remaining war chief. Killed the captains, then the war chief. Here I would have been left with my branded war chief, Zugor, and Shagflak, so as soon as the riot ended, I held and killed him.
The last thing to do was to start the Zugor and Shagflak riot. Again, Shagflak is a real piece of shit and won't die quickly. Zugor kept him busy while I summoned a graug and used it to eat Shagflak. Afterwards, I held until Zugor died.
that should be it. My successful run was 38 minutes and I didn't have the best of luck in that run dying once and having to roam around with a graug and find 2 extra captains to eat.
luck plays more of a role than know how and skill for this achievement. So, I mean it quite literally, good luck!

Like most people, I was struggling with this one for quite some time. I ended up reading a bunch of different strategies, took different approaches and eventually came up with a plan that took a little bit of everything and unlocked that sweet, sweet achievement.
1. Immediately bring up your map and look for Intel. Nothing there? Go ahead and fast travel to the same tower and repeat. If still none by three fast travels, then restart entirely. Look for the Intel and go quick by shooting down Uruks with arrows until only the Intel one remains and + to fly in and knock him down. Identify the Warchiefs right away and repeat until you find Tumhorn. I found once I took the first Intel there were others immediately nearby.
2. Start Tumhorn's mission which is usually in the Northeast and requires opening Caragor cages. This is easily done in mode from vantage points but don't raise the alarm. After getting 4, get up high as Tumhorn approaches so you can instantly Stealth Brand with + which scatters all other Uruks. Immediately send him to riot any Warchief.
3. Fast travel to nearest tower and make note of the nearest Graug Bait which you can find here: http://images.akamai.steamusercontent.com/ugc/61509554576442... (thanks to \†/Teronjon\†/ from Steam who provided it). If there isn't one nearby, go to next paragraph. Start the riot and immediately summon the Graug then brand it as soon as it spawns with + . You want to charge in and eat any Captains with the Graug using when they are near his left hand. If they are knocked down, wait until they stand before trying to eat. Then eat the Warchief. Afterwards, jump down and grab your branded Warchief to send him off on another riot right away. Once he's gone, kill all other branded creatures by using .
If no Graug is nearby, go about fighting the Warchief right away in your preferred style. Remember, you can get unlimited executions by clicking in the sticks if Storm of Urfael is charged. Ideally, you want him to drop to his knees so you can brand him as well but it's ok if he ends up dying. Just grab your branded Warchief(s) and send him on another riot right away. Once he's gone, kill all other branded creatures by using .
*Note as Trombonafide pointed out in the comments if you have a body guard of a Warchief present and promoted immediately after killing the Warchief it may not register as a Warchief kill. I personally did not encounter this but others may due to timing.
4. Keep repeating this process until the only Warchiefs left are your one or two. At this point, advance time at any tower and new Warchiefs will step in for you to riot. To get the pattern started again, you need to do a quick Beck and Call mission to summon your branded Warchief. You'll very quickly race through 20 Captains as the Warchiefs bring bodyguards which you can see on the Sauron's Army page with connected lines. If they have none, no sweat, just quickly kill the Warchief and continue. Once all other objectives are complete, kill your Warchief(s) with and boom, achievement unlocked.
*As LightHordy mentioned in the comments, there's a chance you can be short points after getting the Captains settled. They suggest fast traveling and spawning Graugs for mounted kills to boost the points if you need a cushion.
I did this on my second run with 33 minutes on the clock after using the first run to fine tune my strategy. Just keep your cool, take your time and it will happen. Good luck and good hunting.

Hey guys I had some free time and I figured posting a run of mine is better late than never. I hope it helps you guys get this achievement.
The general strategy that I have used is to go immediately to War Chiefs, ride a Graug and start eating them all starting with the captains.
If it takes too long with the "Kugor Beast Hunter" restart the game.
Do not waste time to gather more information than necessary (unless they are very close).
In detail :
1) Gather info on the first War Chief and go to the mission (Gather more info only if they are really close)
2) Always use quick travel and run with "shooting" (Press after falling from a stone)
3) When exit the War Chief, ride a Graug following the map attached with the respawn points
http://prntscr.com/dz2fhu (new one Thanks GT: A REAVER2364)
or
https://1drv.ms/i/s!AtJTXF3Jo4eVqz6TyR0yqDbId5Bk (old one)
4) Eat before the captains and finally the War Chief.
5) Before leaving the area, still on Graug and use the spectral view to eliminate more captains in the area. Use vomit on the guards (press on Graug) to increase your score.
6) Gather info on the upcoming War Chief and repeat.
At the end of the 5 War Chief you should be at this point:
- 25-30 minutes
- Kill all 5 War Chiefs
- Kill 10-15 Captains with monsters
- Approximately 9000-10000 points
7) Go to the secondary missions NEAREST to respawn points of Graug
8) When the mission begins again used a Graug (do not bother to battle on). Choose first a battle mission between two captains for two consecutive eliminarde.
9) Before you kill the last captain sure to be close to 13,000 points.
That's all.
Sorry linguistic inaccuracies!

I did something different then the guided that have been around for a while.
No credit to me. Found on this site or another then watched a YT vid. Got the achievement on 5/9/2020.
I immediately found intel and uncovered Ugakuga. Fought and branded him. Then had him riot against every captain and war chief. Every riot location should have a graug bait (besides the lower left one, but if you run North a bit you can see a sliver of a graug bait from one of the other locations) fast travel often to make sure tge baits spawn in. Just graug bite/kill everything! But save Uga until the very end. You want to have enough points.
Did mine in 38:32 with 15,413, could have probably ended around 36:00 but I ran around getting points because I wanted to make sure I would end with 13,000 pts.
Farm caragors and graugs by shadow dominating and killing to get up to 12,000. Then kill Uga and you'll get it. Good luck. Message me for questions.

There is a lot of strategy guides out here, but for this one achievement luck plays a huge factor, making each play be different. The best we can do is share the strategy and procedure that worked for us to achieve this stupid achievement, so I will give an abstract of steps of what I did, and a more detailed description of the whole process. The video above is to share the moment when I made it and to show that, maybe, this two hateful achievements could still be obtainable after servers closure.
Summary Strategy:
1. Get intel for at least 10 captains locatable in map. To the left side of the tower appear 1 or 2 uruks to dominate and get intel. If you collect green intel, use it to reveal warchiefs - the only ones that matter here are Ugakuga or Zugor.
2. Once you have captains located, trace a map route to ride on the Graug with the active spectrum vision, find the captains and eat them. In the starting area there is a Graug bait under a wooden bridge.
3. Once the objective of killing 10 captains with beasts is achieved, go challenge a warchief: Ugakuga or Zugor. Make the mission to make him appear, weaken it and try to dominate it to begin to riot to the other warchiefs/captains.
4. After each riot order, press on the controller to kill the warchiefs' followers and score points.
5. When you face Shakflak (or whatever it's called) seek to kill him with Graug. If you have to kill Zugor, do so with arrows and fire arrows without giving him a break.
6. This is pure luck tied, so if you see Graug bait nearby, use it to kill enemies with the beast.
TIPS:
♦ Abuse of fast travel and shadow ability to move long distances without wasting valuable time.
♦ Time does not run while arc pointing spectrum vision is active.
♦ Time does not run in the pause menu, both on the map and Sauron's army.
♦ Memorize the location of the baits for Graug. This is the map: https://ibb.co/X8HMVMk
♦ Graugs instantly kill captains and warchiefs alike, ignoring their strengths and weaknesses.
♦ If a warchief / captain is afraid and runs away, chase him before he escapes to save time.
♦ When running with Talion, look for gain speed up by passing over rocks or slopes.
♦ Use the green information to reveal the warchiefs: those who are important to reveal are Ugakuga or Zugor.
♦ Ugakuga is strong but slow, yet tough to knock down, while Zugor is weak but dangerous with explosive spears. Both give the option to brand or kill them by weakening them.
♦ Warchief Shakflak is a Master of Combat and invulnerable to everything, so try to kill him with a Graug.
♦ If a warchief or captain is killed by another uruk, you will not get the points for their deaths. You have to kill them yourself to get those points.
♦ Killing beasts like Graug and Caragors earns you good points. Whenever you can, try to do it. Also a few chain executions of uruks.
♦ Killing captains with Caragors, vomit from Graug, or crushed by Graug also counts towards the extra objective.
♦ When captains and warchiefs introduce themselves, time ticks during the dialogue with you.
♦ Fast travel restores baits, uruks and your focus.
♦ If you riot a warlord, he will go to the mission with his bodyguards, saving you time to search them for kill. If the warchief dies first, they can run away.
♦ If you hit Advance Time, captains will rise in rank and some may become bodyguards for warchiefs.
♦ After ordering a new riot, press on the controller to dispatch the all branded uruks nearby and earn points.
♦ You get 1000 extra points for meeting the goal of doing it in less than 40 min.
♦ Eliminate all captains and warchiefs. If a captain becomes a warchief, even if you already have 5/5 warchief killed, the counter will now say that you have 4/5 again.
MY DETAILED PROCEDURE:
a. Get intel from only about the captains needed:
Getting data from the 20 captains seemed like a waste of time, so after appearing in the tower, there are always 1-2 uruks to master on the left. I activated the spectrum vision, used the shadow ability to knock them out, grab them and brand them to get the intel of a shadow captain, then I fast-traveled back to the starting tower and repeated this process until I had at least 10 or 11 captains locations. Eventually, I got green intel, which I used only to reveal warchiefs until I unlocked Ugakuga.
b. Kill 10 captains with the Graug:
Once the captains were located on the map, I summoned and mounted the Graug using a nearby bait that is in this starting area, hanging from a wooden bridge. I mapped a route that best suited to me to fetch the captains while mounting the Graug, and using specter vision to find and eat / vomit them. I noticed that some captains only appear on the map until you discover their intel.
c. Dominate the Ugakuga / Zugor warchief:
After fulfilling the extra objective of killing 10 captains with beasts, I killed the Graug and made my way with fast travel towards the mission to take out Ugakuga. I accomplished the mission for the warchief to come to the battlefield and he brought 3 bodyguards with him, so I only focused on Ugakuga to weaken him and overpower him, but by mistake I ended up killing him, so I only had Zugor left as warchief to control. I killed Ugakuga's bodyguards and searched for green intel to reveal Zugor's whereabouts, I went and fulfilled his mission to get him out. Right after appearing on the battlefield, I attacked him non-stop with arrows and fire arrows until he got to his knees, I approached him and gave me the option to brand him.
d. Arming riots against caudillos and captains:
Right after dominating Zugor, I ordered him to riot against another warchief who had 3 bodyguards. I went with fast travel to the riot mission and killed his captains and lackeys, while Zugor killed the warchief and finished the mission. At the conclusion of the mission, I grabbed Zugor to brand him again and order another riot to another warchief. After the riot mission appeared on the map, I pressed to dispatch Zugor's branded followers and score points. I traveled to the new mission site and repeated the process.
e. Make 11,000 - 12,000 score:
I was repeating this method, but then I realized that my score was very low and I had almost no warchiefs / captains left to kill, so I had to find a way to reach at least to 12,000, since finishing the challenge in less 40 minutes gives you 1000 extra points to fulfill the 13,000 necessary. I found out that I wasn't getting points for the kills Zugor did to enemies, so I had to kill them myself to count then. This time, instead of riot a warcheif alongside his bodyguards, I riot his bodyguards one by one. I also killed some Caragors and Grougs for points, and when I saw that I had over 11,000 points, I went back to apply the method from before.
f. Against the Shaqkflak warchief (or whatever he is called):
This warchief is the most problematic because in addition to having invulnerability to everything, he is a Combat Master, which makes it practically impossible to decrease his health. The smartest way to deal with him is by killing him with a Groug. Fortunately, I found a bait to call the Groug and ate it after taking down his henchmen.
g. Eliminate the remaining enemies:
At this point, there were several captains scattered and still in hiding, so I ordered Zugor to riot a warchief without bodyguards, and before going on that mission, I made a fast travel to the tower choosing "Fast-forward" (don't know how's called in english). This way, the remaining captains ranked up and became bodyguards for the warchiefs I had yet to kill, including the one who I have rioted. I repeated the method until I killed the last warchief, who luckily I was able to exterminate using a Graug that I summoned with a bait in the area.
h. Eliminate your controlled warchief and unlock the achievement:
After eliminating the last enemy warchief, the only one left was the one at my command: Zugor, so I killed the Graug and pressed to kill all the uruks under my control, including Zugor, who made the achievement to be FINALLY unlock right after being killed.
And that's pretty much it, I wonder now if this cheevo with the other one will be unobtainable after December 31th, I hope that don't because this is luck tied and really complicated to do.

Here is my guide. took me 5 tries.
summary: get intel on war-chief. draw out war-chief. find a graug bait. attract graug. jump on graug. kill body guards. kill war-chief. repeat 4 times.
Following summary above, I got very close to completing the Test, but would miss it by a couple of minutes. I made an adjustment, before I start on the war-chiefs, I do two tasks which take 6 minutes:
- get some intel on captains. 1-3.
- take a loop around the map with the graug. fast-travel to NE castle. grab graug, kill the captains there. run the graug to the NW castle, kill captains there. run the graug to the South castle, kill the captains here. doing this, you should get 4-10 captain kills with the graug. this will simplify our end game, and make your war-chief battles easier because there will be less bodyguards. best-scenario, you could have 10 captains killed within 8 minutes.
here is how I got the idea (not my video):
