How to unlock the To the Bitter End achievement in NARUTO SHIPPUDEN: Ultimate Ninja STORM 4 - Definitive Guide
Health must be 90% or better (you will kick yourself the 3rd time in a row you finish on 89% )
Continues are self explanatory, don't fail the fight for a S-rank.
QTE are the various scenes that play out at the beginning/end, you'll know when these are happening as Stars appear at the top middle of the screen.
There are also various in-battle QTE which while not counted, generally stop you from taking massive damage/dealing out extra.
This Mission has two battles;
Ninja History 1
Hashirama vs Madara - No Secret Jutsu

Ninja History 2
Wood Golem vs Sussano equipped Kyuubi

In battle -
After Kyuubi leaps up the first time then
As Kyuubi charges the tailed beast bomb you'll need to mash to stop it firing
The battle ends with Kyuubi firing mini bombs that you'll afterimage dodge with then and finally going straight into the QTE
(1) while in mid-air followed by (2) the grab Kyuubi's tails you'll then have 3 sets of Rotations (clockwise) with (3,4,5) followed by (6) to release.
After Hashirama uses sage arts (7) followed by mashing (8). The final QTE is the slow and massive in the centre of the screen as they go to kick each other.

Chapter: Creation
This is an S Rank trophy where you'll need to complete "Deathmatch of Creation" with an S Rank completion. In order to achieve an S Rank you must complete the battle with the following:
- 90% or higher Health
- 90% or higher IA Completion Ratio
- Never used a Continue
This S Rank trophy is broken down into two parts, but both fights are found under the "Ninja History" Episode Chapter. Below, you'll find information and strategy on how to achieve the S Rank.
Ninja History ~ Part 1
- Hashirama vs Madara
There's an Interactive Action during the opening cutscene of this fight, so input the following:
Interactive Actions Sequence 1
- to avoid the Nine Tails attack and disable his movements
During the first part of the battle, you're unable to use Ultimate Jutsu and Madara has a much higher Health bar than you. The best method to defeat Madara and keep your health over 90% is to use Chakra Dash [Chakra Load + ], and then combo with the basic combo, but before you finish the combo follow up with another Chakra Dash to keep the combo spamming going. When you managed to take close to half of Madara's Health, the Nine Tails will start breaking free from Hashirama's wood dragon binding jutsu. There will be a twin sword that appears stuck in the ground, you'll need to rush to these and then hold to acquire the sword. Now Hashirama will fight Madara using a sword as a weapon, but the same strategy can be used to defeat Madara if you're spamming the Chakra Dash combos. Remember to recharge your Chakra whenever needed and use Substitution to avoid getting hit. As you're fighting Madara and break his weapon by mashing , Madara will equip his Susano'o every now and then afterwards. During these instances, dodge his attacks by flicking the left or right, and then press if you went left or if you went right. Going left will summon Wood Clones that will assault Madara for heavy damage and going right will summon a Wood Dragon Jutsu that will automatically hit Madara for heavy damage. Rinse and repeat these methods until the final Interactive Actions triggers.

Ninja History ~ Part 2
This is the final part of the battle and it's Hashirama's Wood Release: Wood Human Technique Jutsu vs Madara's Nine Tails (Susano'o Equipped). You're practically in an awaken form; you cannot use an Ultimate Jutsu during this boss battle. The Wood Human Golem isn't as fast in terms of movement either. When the fight starts, you want to run either left or right and wait for Madara to attack you. Madara will swing his sword straight down and it will create a Slash Attack with 3 shockwaves coming from the swing. This is easily dodge able if you are already moving and out of the attack's radius or you can run in between the slashes. As soon as you dodge the attack, run straight to Madara (or use the Wood Style: Adamantine Fist [Chakra Load + ] to deal damage and get closer at the same time) and deliver the basic combo attack with , and then wait for Madara to attack you again. Rinse and repeat this until Madara's Susano'o turns purple.
When the Nine Tails Susano'o armor turns purple, he'll become more aggressive with his attacks. It's best to wait for an opening and attack Madara with caution. Madara will gain some distance between you two in a small cutscene and will jump at you, so press either left or right to avoid Madara's Body Press attack. If you went right press the button to perform a Body Slam attack and deal heavy damage, then follow up with the basic combo. Every now and then, Madara will have the Nine Tails shoot Tailed Beast Bombs at you. Fire off three shots in a row, but these are easily dodged if you're running either left or right without stopping. Continue to play the dodging game while you're getting closer to Madara's location. When you're close enough after dodging the 3rd Tailed Beast Bomb shot, perform a Wood Style: Adamantine Fist [Chakra Load + ] to deliver a power punch attack and get closer to Madara. Once you succeeded in closing the distance, assault Madara with another basic combo until you pushed him away from you. At this point, the Nine Tails Susano'o armor should return to blue again. Madara will start attack with his sword and it will get stuck in the ground. If this happens, wait for him to get stuck and lung at him using Wood Style: Adamantine Fist and then follow up with a combo. Once you dealt enough damage, Madara will lose one of his swords during a brief cutscene.
Quickly, run towards the Susano'o blade's location and hold in order to pick it up. Do this before Madara has a chance to recover and attack you. When you acquired the Susano'o blade, Hashirama will automatically throw it right back at Madara, taking nearly half of his Health bar. Madara's Nine Tails will turn purple again and become even more aggressive. Madara will gain some distance to perform a larger version of the Tailed Beast Bomb. To prevent this from happening, simply run up to Madara and mash the button until it stops, however, don't get too carried away after stopping the attack. You'll want to back off a little bit because Madara can hit you after you prevent the larger Tailed Beast Bomb from firing. Simply strife left or right and wait for an opening to attack. Madara attacks three times in a row with Claw Slash attacks and every now and again he will swing his sword around in a 360 degrees radius. This attack is extremely hard to dodge as you need to be out of the radius to avoid it. Once you dealt a few more damage a brief scene will happen and Madara will fire 3 Tailed Beast Bombs at you, dodge by pressing the following , , and . Afterwards, finish the Interactive Actions that follows:

- Don't lose the battle
- While pressing QTE (fortunately they are not difficult)
