How to unlock the True achiever achievement in NeuroVoider - Definitive Guide
The Hardcore skill will make it so you only have 25% of your max health (can be boosted with Vision armor) and you EP regeneration is increased by 50%. The skill also says no repair, but you still get repaired to 'full' HP during intermissions.
SET UP
Make sure you pick Arcade difficulty as difficulty does not matter, so pick the easiest. For all my runs, I choose the Fortress class due to its special, which is a shield that blocks all damage. The shield does bounce back some projectiles, but unfortunately those reflected projectiles do not harm enemies.
LEVEL SELECTION
I personally chose low size with high elite levels. The loot stat I didn't really pay attention to since elites seemed to always drop loot even at 1 bar loot. DON'T ALWAYS select the bonus levels (different color from the rest). It would be a good idea to either skip or reset your run if you get a SWARM bonus level before you have any splash weapon. You can easily get surrounded and killed quickly if you don't have a good way to clear waves of enemies quickly. However, if you do have a splash weapon then always select the bonus level, as you usually get a ton of loot and they give a skip level token, which not only skips the next level, but also makes the following level easier as well! So make sure to use skip tokens 2 levels before a boss in order to take full advantage, since the lower difficulty bonus does not affect boss levels.
BUILD
Unfortunately, I am writing this a few days after I got this achievement, so I don't remember my actual build...
Your vision piece will be the most important armor piece due it giving a Max HP% bonus, which I believe +40% is the highest. It also has a Energy% Bonus which is really helpful, but I focused more on the HP bonus. Don't waste scrap on boosting white or green pieces though, since they usually have base 0% stats. If you find a piece with base 20+% Max HP, then focus on getting it to Boost 5.
For your core piece, focus on a piece with high EP/s and high base EP Cost -%, just like your vision piece, anything with base -20% or greater should be upgraded to Boost 5. The stat page doesn't take into account the 50% EP regeneration bonus from the skill, so if you see +50/s, it is actually +75/s.
Your transport should be the last thing you get to boost 5 and you should only be boosting it if all your other items are at boost 5. You ideally want one with high base speed%. The overheat% isn't as important since you want to avoid ever overheating, which I very very rarely did during my runs.
For my secondary weapon, I used the constant lighting beam weapon which had a pretty low EP/s (less than 80EP/s). I used this weapon mostly for single white/blue enemies. Other secondary weapons I would recommend to use would be: Pulse Beam, Constant beam weapon, or machine gun type. I didn't use this weapon often in my run, so feel free to try other types, but make sure it is lower EP/s than your primary. Even with the higher EP regen, you can easily overheat if you use to high EP/s weapons.
For your primary weapon, you want to find a weapon with high splash. In my opinion: Nuke > Single Straight Rocket > Rocket Barrage > Grenade > Random Rocket
Nukes tend to have high splash and damage, allowing you to clear huge amounts of enemies at the same time and kill bosses rather quickly. Single Rockets have much smaller splash areas, but are still capable of killing elites in 1 shot. For rocket barrages, you have to rely on lots of rockets hitting to deal the most damage, but they tend to spread out the further they go. Grenades had more splash than rockets, but I preferred using rockets because grenades would bounce off walls while rockets would explode on contact. Random rockets would curve left or right, making it rather difficult to get accurate
Note: 0 -> 5 boost gives 15% on any non EP/HP stat on armor. For example: Core 0 boost with EP Cost -10% upgrades to Core 5 boost with EP Cost -25%
Note: Make sure you test weapons by using when viewing the weapon. There are a ton of variations, so don't only look at DMG/s. You want to avoid weapons that shoot all around you or split the bullets in all directions. Those are almost impossible to reach the full DMG/s they have listed.
Note: I avoided using Glitch (purple) weapons. They usually had really high DMG/s and were already 5 Boosted, but they also had really high EP/s. Even with the higher EP regen, you can easily overheat when using Glitch weapons.
ENEMIES
Even White/Blue enemies pose a threat in this run!! Be careful with large swarms in the early levels before you get a good splash weapon, as they can easily swarm you and bombard you with bullets, so make sure to take your time!! (Unless you are in a self destruct level) Slowly move up to lure a few enemies in, move back, kill them, and repeat.
There are 2 variations to be extra careful of. Rocket variants and sniper variants. Rocket variants I rarely encountered in regular levels, mostly in boss levels. Sniper variants would aim at you with a red laser before firing and they deal a huge amount of damage, so a few firing at you at the same time can kill you instantly. So whenever you see a red laser aimed at you, quickly use your to block all damage. Sometimes the red laser enemies turned out to be machine gun variants, but I always shielded just to be safe.
Gold/Red enemies are Elites/Super Elites. Nukes/Rockets tend to 1 shot these guys, but you should still be careful with these guys since they have stronger weapons. Just like with white/blue enemies, be extra careful for rocket/sniper variants, as well with nuke variants! These guys also tend to drop repair packs when you are missing health, but repair packs disappear after a brief moment
Note: Watch your EP usage closely so you always have enough to use your shield! It looks like your shield uses a % amount of your EP, so it is impossible to reach a point where you can use it infinitely.
BOSSES
Unfortunately a lot about bosses is random, meaning that the weapons they use, the size of the arena and the weapons of the spawning enemies is random. I lost one run due to the boss having nukes as weapons which I didn't notice until it was too late... So for the first few seconds, I would only use my lower EP/s gun while paying attention to the weapons used by the boss + minions. This way you can tell how conservative you would have to be with your EP. If the boss doesn't have any nukes/rockets, then you could rely on dodging the shots without the need of your shield. The minions could also have rockets and spawn endlessly until the weak spot is destroyed, but they would sometimes drop repair packs when killed.
Once you see what kind of weapons you are dealing with, you can focus on the boss with your primary, while only killing the minions when HP is needed. Once you have the weak spot at a low HP, wait until your EP is full before destroying it. As soon as you destroy it, additional goons will spawn in. If I remember correctly bosses 1, 2, and 3 spawn in blue enemies, while the 4th boss spawns in gold elites. You want to quickly kill these guys BEFORE damaging the boss as these goons can have rockets and mess you up.
For the final boss, he spawned in with rockets/orbs that explode into more orbs. I did get this variant before in another run, but I think his weapons are random as well. While the platform is somewhat small, you can still circle around him in order to make him miss. If he got too close, I would shield and wait for him to end his shooting before moving.
This run took me 2 resets and I completed the full run in a little over an hour, so luckily it is a rather quick game. So don't give up if you die since if you can reach the same level on your next run and kill your nemesis, you get all your loot back! I managed to get my Gold Vision 5 Boosted that had +40% Max HP that I had lost in my previous run. Good luck!!

You suggest not using weapons with high spread but I'd say some can help a bunch. I often had a gold/glitched machine gun nearly 100% of the time.
Machine gun is especially good (even under leveled) with it's range to push back fast enemies and elites, especially in metaverses where there's no walls to shoot with a nuke when enemies get close. Machine guns are also nice on the final boss to shove them away to avoid getting shot point-blank.
Dash type also works great for it's small hitbox and high speed. They also don't get trapped like fortress types can if a boss won't stop shooting in a particular area.

I recommended using a machine gun as a secondary. I recommended not using weapons that shoot all around you, such as the flamethrower that fires 360 degrees around you, or weapons where the bullets split, such as the rocket launcher where rockets split into 4 after impact. I didn't mention not using weapons with some spread.
